Getting dumped by her boyfriend was hard enough, getting dumped for a man was worse, but getting hit on by a client was the last straw. Jenna was done playing nice. Not even being called to the big boss’ office had her backing down or turning down the unexpected proposition from him.
Luke had been patiently waiting. Just non stop steam.
I wasn’t sure why H didn’t hot his brother for running mouth about h. The way he was disrespectful (even if it was just to get a rise out of his brother) didn’t seem to push H over the edge. It was all talk and no action. With how high his emotions were running, I was really surprised he didn’t punch the brother at least once.
The PDA (and that is a mild way of puting it) was weird but I guess I just wasn’t expecting it to be like that. Author warned about a public thing but wowza. I was not prepared.
Writing style is meh. There is an attempt at a story but it’s more heat than plot tbh.
This is my first story of the author. It’s not the best I’ve read, but it’s got me curious enough for her other works.

This was a very odd book, not the usual.
The mmc was a dog. The fmc was crazy. She allows the mmc to treat her badly. She also forgives the mmc jus like that . This was a waste of my time. I would not recommend this .
