Stormy Morgan has accepted her life as a witch, and is even looking forward to the future. That means training with the most powerful witches in the Midwest. She’s determined to follow through on her destiny. Despite her best intentions though, not everything is going to be as easy as she hoped.
When Stormy steps in and uses her magic following a bus accident, she’s almost killed in the process. Worse than that, it seems the child she risked her life to save might be an ongoing target. At the bottom of a ravine, in a spot where nobody should be, three magical children threaten one innocent child… and only Stormy stands in their way.
Surviving a perilous fall should make Stormy happy. She’s unsettled though, and the magical children that attacked are still out there. Worse than that, they seem to want her. They blame her for thwarting their plans… and they’re coming. Stormy is brave and loyal, but she’s in over her head. Her boyfriend Hunter Ryan wants to help but he’s out of his depth. Even the Winchester witches can’t figure out what’s going on. That means they’re all going to have to work together to secure Stormy’s future.
Stormy is ready to fight the good fight. With brutal death barreling toward her, however, she might not even get the chance.
Darkness has arrived in Shadow Hills, and there may be no stopping it. Could this be the end?
When I was a kid, I was torn between whether or not I was going to grow up and be the Incredible Hulk or Wonder Woman. I flirted with being a Jedi Knight for awhile, but I wasn't up for the intense travel associated with the gig. In my teens, I settled on being a writer -- although I had no idea the effort that would entail. Not only am I a writer now, but I'm a writer in several different mediums. I'm a longtime newspaper reporter, an avid reader and a voracious science fiction fanatic.
An OK instalment in the series. Not bad, but also not great.
A second crossover from what I guess is another series occurs in this book and contributed to the already ridiculously huge cast. For such a short book, it sure is crammed full of characters. I didn't (and couldn't) really care for the three newcomers. They were OK, I guess, but I mostly felt like the Hemlock Cove witches + Stormy should have been able to deal with the issue "alone".
But whatever.
I did approve of Hunter (finally) taking the reins over Stormy's really galloping and toxic view on money. I'm so done with her crap on that front and (finally) so was he.
As for Stormy's magic... It's still really slow in its development, but it took more of the spotlight in this book. So that was kind of good.
No one, least of all me, knows what a hellcat really is or does, but apparently I will just have to keep showing up for more books to find out. Just like with the gnomeshifter/cat.
The mystery left me pretty cold and uninterested. A lot of gruesome deaths happened during the second half, but I felt like it left the characters just as emotionally unaffected as it did me and that was just ... weird.
Somehow, this felt like a "middle" book. The cover had me hoping for some sort of Halloween content, but there was none, so that made me a smudge disappointed on top of everything else.
exceptionally entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series
This is an exceptionally entertaining paranormal cozy mystery serious. Great cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Stormi Morgan is a witch in a little small town in northern Michigan. She moved away when she went to college wrote a book became successful with a second book which failed and after short time was forced to move back home. Now living above her grandfather’s restaurant and working there. She’s rekindled her romance with her high school sweetheart. He’s a local place officer Together they are learning more about her newly acquired witchy powers. This theory takes place in a magical world of multiple series by this author. Each of which are outstanding on their own. No spoilers but there is crossover characters in this one to look forward to. They must battle evil once again so we don and find out what happens This time around.
Hunter is called to the scene of the crash and Stormy goes with him, She may be able to help using her magic. The children are almost all rescued before things take a turn for the worse. Stormy comes out of it virtually unscathed but there is a mystery here, the bus driver has disappeared and who are those three strange children who were hanging around. So begins another entertaining take including Bay and Landon Winchester- Michael's and Aunt Tillie who are always fun. I really enjoy these books but oh do I get tired some times of all the repetiton , there must be a limit to how many times people need to tell each other "I love you" and talk about their relationship (always the same feelings) before you switch off.
I enjoy the series. This is book six and even though the main character - Stormy has a decent martyr complex in books 1-5, this book took it to a whole new level. And way too far IMO. These books are a light and easy read and a lot of fun overall and I would recommend. I'd simply like the author to not make Stormy to whiny and martyred. This is why I'm only giving it 3 stars.
Lee does a nice mix of people dealing with their own problems and trying to make a relationship work with paranormal adventures. It's going to take a huge reveal with a major service before I will see that "cat" as anything but annoying. I don't see obnoxious as amusing.
I read We All Scream with a sense of nostalgia, as it marks the sixth installment in a series that introduced me to the cozy mystery genre. This journey has been one of intrigue and delight, yet as the series has progressed, I've found myself contending with a recurring theme that has shifted the focus away from what initially captivated me. Regrettably, I've decided that this will be my final read with this series.
Hunter Ryan, a character of exceptional emotional intelligence, stood out to me. His portrayal as a stoic yet affectionate partner who isn't afraid to show vulnerability was a welcome breath of fresh air. In fact, I'd label this book as 'healthy' due to its portrayal of relationships. However, I've noticed that as the series unfolded, it became more heavily centered on romance rather than the intriguing mysteries that first captured my attention. The balance has tipped too far for my taste, leading to an overall sense of monotony.
The writing quality is repetitive and lacks the spark of creativity that initially engaged me. The pace is steady, while the plot, if I can even call it that, falls flat in its vanilla and uninspiring nature. Characters are now overshadowed by the overwhelming romantic focus. Despite these reservations, I must admit that I found moments of enjoyment in this lighthearted tale, offering a brief break from more weighty historical fiction reads.
Reflecting on the series as a whole, I'd say that it is not designed to provoke introspection, yet it prompted me to consider the dynamics of secure relationships. This cozy mystery offers a breezy, effortless reading experience, providing a comfort that's akin to wrapping oneself in a warm blanket.
In the end, We All Scream didn't entirely meet my evolving expectations. While I bid adieu to this particular series, I'll cherish the memories it kindled and eagerly seek out stories that resonate more with my current reading preferences.

Another great nook in this series. This one takes Stormy and the Winchester contingent (Bay, Landon, Aunt Tille, and some of the mothers) to assist in solving the mysteries and taking down the rather scary magical "bad guys" and monsters. Whew - it got pretty intense for a while! Can't wait to red the next one.

I don't understand why the author wrote this series.
She could have just added a new character to the other series with Bay. I remember being fairly okay with that MC.
I would not want this MC and her boyfriend on my team. They're as compatible as they are because they're both a mess.
And wow is MCs ego big enough? She never stops whining for independence yet shows zero motivation. On and on about her lousy money situation, which she created, because apparently she learns nothing without screwing herself over royally.
And she's always dropping the ball. Not to mention she has the sense of a self involved twelve year old, who, I guess we're supposed to find funny. She's not.
And a lot of aspects of the series are really redundant, also true for the Bay MC series, but that one is the original version. While this series is it's awkward little sister who shouldn't have been invited to the party.
If it were me, I'd have pulled out all the good bits from this series and tossed them into the other one, along with Sebastian as the charming new witch in town. He is a much neglected delightful character. And deserves way better BFF material.
One of her best crossovers yet. I’ve been waiting for Scout to make an appearance in Stormy’s series for awhile with the Winchesters and know she has with her two favorite men. It was marvelous and entertaining, funny and a little sad too. I hope the next book sees Stormy a lot stronger and less negative in her outlook. She is going to need strength of character and a strong mindset to help The Winchesters, Scout and her own family, friends to defeat what’s coming for them all. Always like series where the characters grow with each book, haven’t really seen that yet but it needs to happen with these three families and the friends like the mystic caravan help in their biggest problem heading their way. Good luck Amanda Lee. Thank you for this one thou🥳🤩🫡🤭🤗🎅🤶🧛♂️🧞♂️🧜 Happy Holidays🌟❄️💝🎁🎊🎪🥂
Love Stormy and Hunters books, took me a few books to get into them but they just keep getting better. When the story involves my favourite all time character, Aunt Tilly, it’s going to be am amazingly funny tale. I really love her and all the hijinks she gets up to. We also get a cameo from Scout, Gunner and Evan which is just the cherry on top. The way Stormy is progressing both with her witchcraft and her relationship with Hunter is a joy to read. I really appreciate Amanda’s brand of humour and this is another wild and wacky read that made me laugh.
I just finished this new installation of the servers, and I truly enjoy how much the character is grown but I enjoy even more how the author has grown. I’ve read cozy mysteries for years and when you read sets or series there’s always that re-introduction at the first part for the person who’s new to the series what I truly enjoyed in this one is the re-introduction of character wasn’t done in a rope manner but sit seamlessly into conversation of characters. Loved it!
Stormy is coming into her powers, she is getting stronger by the day. The Winchester family is helping, all is coming together when there is an accident that involves children on a bus. Stormy finds herself at the bottom of the reven. Spooky children with glowing red eyes. A creepy family, and a talking cat that is not really saying anything. We get Scout helping and of course Aunt Tillie being Aunt Tillie. 💚💙
I really like the characters on this series. I really love it when the Winchesters make an appearance. We get an extra treat with this one when Scout, Gunner and Evan help out. Stormy is really coming into her own, but she is really hurt in this adventure. Pheobe's trial goes down. Hunter asserts his will over his and Stormy's life path. Lots going on. Enjoyed the read. It's a great addition to the series.
This one, while still a good story, felt darker. I didn't like it as much... But, like I said, still a good story. I think my favorite part was Phoebe's courtroom meltdown.
The "demonic children" thing weirded me out. And there were quite a few inconsistencies in this one.
All of these creatures are hanging out in northern Lower Michigan... and they say Detroit is bad?
Stormy is growing stronger and with being stronger means more danger. This story was a fast paced cozy mystery sprinkled with hilarious sarcasm and freaking amazing visiting characters that have you rolling on the floor laughing one minute and the next reading as fast as you can to see what is going happen next in the paranormal mystery. It was an excellent book.
I really loved reading this series about a witch learning her newfound powers and the man she's loved for years. Filled with witches and magic, murder and mystery, good paranormals and bad, and snark. I also loved how Amanda M. Lee brought the Winchester family and Scout's group into the books too! Enjoy!!!
I love the Amanda M. Lee stories. I'm pretty invested in three of her series. I just need to pace myself when reading them, because she has so many different stories to tell. I especially enjoy when she brings her characters from her other series into the book I'm reading. They add to the plot in wonderful ways.
Our favorite hell cat, Stormy, just keeps getting stronger, and the stories just keep getting better. Stormy becomes town heroine when she saves a little girl from a school bus, teetering on a ravine, but should she have saved the child’s life? Plot twists galore and multiple guest appearances make this a must read!
These books are fun. I think the main characters are the same people as the main characters in her other series, only with different names. The dialog is weird sometimes and the characters say things that I don't think real people would say out loud. It's OK though. I like the books anyway. And I'll read the next one when it comes out.
Book 6 has mystery, murder, humor, love, weird romance, and, added, a new breed of monsters. Some people think children are naturally little monsters, but these children give a whole new meaning to the word "monster". The author really knows how to hold your interest. Highly recommend.
When Hunter and Stormy are called to the scene of a school bus accident they find themselves embroiled in a new mystery when three magical children suddenly appear on the scene and start causing trouble in town. It will take the help of the Winchester family and their friends Scout, Gunther and Evan to resolve the evil.
Every book Amanda Lee writes is better than the last
My occupation is stressful and it requires a great deal of non fiction reading. Before bed I love to read one of Amanda's books her characters are very well developed. The story is funny and a good light mystery. Don't change anything!
Stormy was asked to help with a school bus full of kids about to go down a steap hill. With a little magic, she was able to save everyone with very little injury. But when the crisis was almost over, she noticed 3 kids with pure evil in their eyes. The mystery behind the school bus is crazy and what Stormy goes through is scary.
Another good book in Storm's story. She has help from the Winchester witches along with Scout and crew. The plot and subplots move quickly and the twists make it hard to put the book down. I can't wait to see what happens next.
As always Amanda Lee does not disappoint. I loved seeing Bay, Tillie, Landon, Scout, Evan, and Gunner. This one is full of suspense and questions, but it is so good. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it!
The pacing of the story felt off for me. I usually like these stories. Maybe it was the whole other plane story or it just never really flowed. This is just me others may find it more to their liking.
Stormy has shown real ability to learn, mature and compromise in this book. Pair that with the mystery and strange happenings and I couldn't put it down. Definitely worth reading.
I absolutely LOVE the Monty Python and the Holy Hand grenade reference! Such a classic! And perfect timing! Love the use of other characters and how smoothly they all fit.
I loved the book and the Characters from the different series offering help. This Author is one of my favorite for the interesting and cute stories and characters. I highly recommend this and the other series by this author!
