When Caitlin was left alone and bereft as a young girl, it was Dimitre Karas who promised her she would always have a home on his Greek island. Something about Caitlin had touched and held him; in her wide vulnerable eyes he had sensed an uncommon similarity of souls.
Now Caitlin was a woman, and when Dimitre saw her again, the same spark of kinship flared. But this time the spark was ignited by the passions of two adults. Caitlin had surrendered her innocent heart to Dimitre years before, but now it was the heart of a woman he was seeking, and a love that would last beyond time.
I loved the Greek Island setting and the hidden longing between the protagonists; plot points like her sisters marriage and reconciliation with her mother were too rushed. I liked the forbidden romance aspect of it.
