Bit of a filler at times but on the other side I absolutely enjoyed the flashbacks, and not so flash back, because that means we see a bit more of the characters that we know and love.
There is also a bit of character development and also we get too unveil more of the past of the girls ans how they have gotten to that point. I have specially enjoyed the nod to the original story and their details in delightful plot twists and background story. As it also happens with the comparative of past/present and their perks.
So far, the only issue that I see is the pacing, in a sense that I would like it to be more dynamic and sometimes drags in places where I feel like it should not. Regardless, I am absolutely loving it and will definitely keep reading the next ones.
There's a bit of filler content that also breaks up the tension a little bit. It's lighter and a bit comedic, and we get to enjoy some downtime with the girls. I wonder if they're going to slow the pacing down for the manga. Then, there is a lot of action and I have to give 5 stars alone for a certain someone who shows up near the end. 😍 🖤
Get ready to squeal as you see a softer side of Lord Sesshomaru in volume 3 of Yashahime! You will also learn about the origins of Setsuna’s butterfly curse. Another enjoyable manga volume for fans of Inuyasha and the Yashahime series.
Okay, took down their first big enemy and kind of found out who and why the big bad is after them. Doesn't explain the lack of parents though......and apparently one parent is keeping an eye.....? Why?
