"Creation Rediscovered" is an excellent book that exposes the vicious errors of the Evolutionary Hypothesis. Gerard Keane does a magnificent job showing the proof for Creationism and the impossibilities present in modern atheistic evolution. I recommend this book to any Catholic that is interested in an introduction to the Origins Debate, primarily since the book is written from a Catholic perspective.

This book would make a good companion to The Death of Evolution by Wallace Johnson. While Mr. Johnson goes into a little more detail about the science behind the creation/evolution debate, Mr. Keane thoroughly explains both the philosophy behind evolutionism and the impact that accepting evolution can have in forming atheistic belief systems such as Communism.

He also gives a Catholic perspective on the creation/evolution debate showing how creationism harmonizing perfectly with Catholicism, using quotes from St. Thomas Aquinas, First Vatican Council, and Pius XII. He explains the corrosive, destructive effect evolution has on Catholic doctrine and belief.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and will be referencing it often in the future in any writing I do on the topic of origins. This is a truly eye opening read for any Catholic who assumes that theistic evolution is the official teaching of the Church, and for any Christian in general seeking a deeper understanding of the scientific and theological nuances which must be examined in answering the question of “where we came from”. Excellent.

I picked this up off the shelves of my local second-hand bookshop. At the time, I was writing a dissertation that describes some of the philosophical flaws with creationism and Intelligent Design. I picked this up, because I like to have a collection of books at hand demonstrating how not to think - on that basis, this book is excellent.

But it is a mish-mash of poor arguments, uninspiring writing and complete mischaracterisations of the evidence of modern science. Real science is so much more interesting than creationist fluff. Don't waste your time on this.
