One last crusade. One more time into the fray. One last chance to live free or die.
John Beck cannot rest. His longtime friend and compatriot is in trouble half a continent away in a decaying metropolis under authoritarian rule. He must leave the safety and comfort of his new rural life and repay old debts. He and those closest to him will either succeed or they will die trying.
All for One is the epic conclusion of The Crusader EMP Post-Apocalyptic Survival Series and is perfect for fans of Franklin Horton, Ryan Schow, Kyla Stone, Jack Hunt, and AR Shaw.
Word came to Beck from old friends that Gabe was in trouble and needed saving. That was all Beck needed to know. He didn't have enough friends to let one go. He, Millie and Regina left with Lucy to travel to New Mexico to meet up with Rebecca. Rebecca knew where Gave was being held in Los Angeles. Beck knew something was off, but didn't realize the full scope of her betrayal. Even so, Gabe was his friend and he owed him a rescue, in the least. Plane, train and boat, Beck's crusade was long and full of trouble. I mean, this IS John Beck. Nothing was ever easy! Betrayal and sacrifice peppered the journey to Los Angeles and Beck's demons pestered him the whole way. One last crusade. Beck was surrounded by those he loved as they tracked through the desert on the way to California and Gabe. Most of the characters in this storyline are familiar. We've journeyed with them many times before and this crusade was no different from any other. The storyline, the characters, and the talented writing of a master wordsmith, combine to present us with a remarkable entry in the lives of John Beck and friends. This is truly an amazing read!
I've really enjoyed this series and hate to see it end. The story of the indomitable John Beck and his Crusades.... It's not how I was expecting it to go but its fitting. This is a great series and I'd recommend it to anyone who's into dystopian thrill rides. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did... I'm sure you will, Tom really can spin a tale!
A man with principles and trying to make right the things he messed up in his life. His true passion and reason for living was to find his daughter and tell her how much he loved her. This series was about a man that helped so many while on his quest to find Millie.
Some unexpected choices in character arcs but, overall, a good finish to a fun series. Smooth, quick read with a satisfying ending. The last couple pages are the stand outs--well written and pull on the heart strings. Thanks for the fun ride.
I enjoyed this read very much it moved at a good pace and kept you turning pages to keep up with the pace I was surprised by the ending. I recommend it stand by
