"The truth -told directly, kindly, to people's face -is better."

This was a great end to an amazing series. It was transformative to see June mature and grow in to a more authentic version of herself. Albeit she has quite a ways to go (she is only 13) but she is definitely on her way. I really appreciated how June has very real consequences for her actions. The lessons of how to tell the truth and even when it's uncomfortable for yourself and maybe someone else as well. I hope to read more from June's experiences as she grows into being a teenager and even a young adult. I honestly want to follow June through her whole life. I love my baby girl June.🥰

Another great story all about our sweet baby June! This one follows June as she continues to juggle friendships, first love and consequences from book 2 when things went crazy! She is still under her fairy godmother's truth telling spell and is trying to repair relationships the best she can to get rid of it. She starts to discover a family secret about the history of Featherstone Creek and things go on from here. A great closing to these 3 books - hope we have more in the Honest June series to come!

The story touched on some great real world scenarios.. it had multiple interesting plot lines, and I think the illustrator did a fabulous job with the illustrations.

(Fairy tale) June is under her fairy god mother’s spell where she cannot tell a lie. June wrote a “burn book” to keep her thoughts private but it got leaked…by her bff! She’s got to make amends with everyone to lift the spell. But it’s tough while navigating 6th grade life, boys, the school camping trip and a family secret she writes about in the school paper about the towns founders
