York Harbor Series #3

Patchwork to Healing

Rate this book
With each patchwork quilt, she seeks to heal broken hearts . . .

Rebecca Mills doesn’t create her beautiful quilts to keep busy; she needs to make them. Piecing the intricate designs gives her purpose, providing comfort to those who receive them and relieving her deep-seated guilt—if only for a little while.

When her emotionally detached foster brother, Ben Daly, returns to York Harbor, Maine, he reopens old wounds, creating a pattern of pain and bitterness, and reigniting the love Rebecca thought she’d long ago cut from her heart.

But can Rebecca fulfill their foster mother’s dying wish, or will the delicate patchwork of her life be torn apart by the painful scars from her past?

I love your books.

I like the way that you have created a series of characters to follow. I can't wait for the next one. I live in Woodsfield, Oh and am very proud that you lived here once. Keep the books coming!

In Coulters third York Harbor novel, foster mother Mrs. Getchel's passing reunites two of her favorite foster children. Adults Rebecca Mills and Ben Daly have never forgotten their foster mother's love, or each other. Now, they must honor Mrs. Getchel's will, literal and figurative, and work together to ensure her legacy of charity continues. But that's the easy part. The real work they suspect Mrs. Getchel had in mind? Forgiving themselves for the past and continuing their healing together. Charming and delightful, Coulters delivers another heartfelt journey.

Drama and trust issues

Just too much doubt, lack of trust, throughout the book. Got on my nerves after a while - I understand some of it was necessary given the background of them both- just tooo much for me!

Was not as good as the first two books. Dragged a little with Rebecca's whining and volatile actions. Then just wrapped up at the end, last 10 pages. Still an OK read.
