Omg!!! I loved this one. It was amazing and funny. Finally getting together after year of loving each other from a far. Cute, fun and god damn it I need the next fucking book!

I really liked the romance in this book.
Mark is pretty much what all men should aspire to, in the romance department.
The sex was sort of just ok, for me. It was sexy, but it was also pretty brief and we didn’t get to be a part of much of it because after the first time, we got a fade.
Which is fine. The story is Usually a bigger part of Cee’s books than the sex so I went in sort of knowing that would be the case.
The plot though.
It was sort of rushed and there just weren’t hardly any stakes at all and everything just fell together so easily.
Usually I don’t mind that in a romance if there’s something else to make up for it. Humor, smut..
Here, there was definitely humor. Of course. This author makes me giggle with her characters constantly. But it wasn’t enough to distract from the almost nothing going on.
I feel like this is a common problem for this author and I know I talked about it in the first book of this series’ review. Cee seems to really need to warm up to her characters before the humor, the smut, and the plot really get good.
So I liked this book. It. Had some really sweet things and some pretty hilarious things going on in it.
But I will be looking forward to the next few books in the series where it’s more likely I’ll Love them.

This one was cute, no drama, just 2 people trying to figure out a relationship with their meddling poking their noses in. I liked that early on Lake and Mark both said they had a crush on each other for years, that they took advantage of their one night to build more. I really loved how Mark felt like he needed to "Woo" Lake and pulled her entire family to help. They had one argument that ended up turning into something big due to circumstances beyond their control, which also made them realize what was important. I loved how this one ended, loved the future glimpse of them living a chaotic, but happy life.

True rom com loves dream!
This story was so fun. Spoilers ahead.
The drama was minimal, it was mostly a cute story about woo-ing the girl after she's knocked up and already in love. I love that the couple followed thier own timeline.. The woo-ing was so cute and sweet and the H totally nailed the rom-com scenes. This was a quick, sweet, fun read.

Mark & Lake
Oh my wow! As if I didn’t already love this family enough, this book just totally pushed me over the edge! I totally want to be part of this family. Mark is amazing. When he is in, he is all in. The way he courted Lake? Oh my! I am so happy that these two found their way to each other!
Once I picked up this book, I couldn’t put it down. I felt like I blinked and I was reading the epilogue. Cee Bowerman just has the most amazing way of wrapping you up in her words and immersing you in this other world. A world that I feel blessed to be a part of - even if it is only through her written words. ❤️

This is the 2nd book in The Donovans series. Lake has been in love with Mark from the very beginning. Mark loved Lake like a little sister until one day he saw a beautiful woman. Life had some challenges for both of them and then 1 night everything changed. Of course, there are some bumps along the way but in the end true love wins. If you love rom coms, you’ll really love this book. This book has laughs (til you cry) because after all it’s a Cee Bowerman book. This a funny, truly romantic love story kind of book.
Cee writes stories of wonderfully strong women who meet and fall for strong, protective alpha males and this one is no exception.

A good family for the Donovans
This is book two in the series and I’m enjoying this new family from acer Bowerman. She is so good with story and plot building for these romantic stories. This book is about one of the triplets, Lake, and her ten year crush on Mark. Now Mark is Quinn’s best friend. Both Lake and Mark have been hiding their attraction for each other, however at the wedding party these two hooked up and showed emotions. However the next morning brought new light to their real feelings for one another. Are these two willing to take that leap? Or will they pretend like that never happened? Read On!

Didn't really get this one. It really felt like I should know way more about both of their backstories... I didn't. I didn't really buy into the relationship. And I found all the movie stuff rather boring in the end... especially the 'Pretty Woman'... I don't see that as a romance... she was a sex worker and he paid for her services. Kind of like a haircut... a service is paid for... the service may be needed... but, that is all that it is... not romantic... therefore, why on earth is that one of the main references for a man trying to woo the woman he has loved for years?

Excellent!!!! Loved everything about this story. If only real men were like the perfect ones in storyland.....lol. The way Mark wooed Lake was brilliant. I've never heard of it being done that way before and I've read a lot of books and seen a lot of movies. This family just keeps getting more and more intriguing. I found out some things in this one that I didn't know, ie. the triplets being adopted and it sounds like one of the boys were too. As I am such a huge animal lover one of the best parts is the introduction of the 2 new fur babies. On to the next one.

I was so excited to get my hands on Lake and Mark's book! My love for the Donovan family already knows no bounds. There were so many little touches that put Mark at the top of my list of favorite book boyfriends. Lake is a chick I would love to be friends with, she is amazing. Seeing them both finally, truly happy together was absolute perfection! If you are looking for an author who delivers the most awesome characters who steal your heart, you need to check this lady out!

This is an interesting story. This story will pull at your heartstrings. Their is a dramatic event that happened to Lake when she was married which caused him to end up in prison for a very long time. He was her high school boyfriend. She loved her brother’s best friend and finally they get together. This is their story of finally getting it together. The family characters are hilarious when they argue. It’s a good read. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Enjoy

This was not for me. I apparently read a different book than everyone else.
I found the romantic movie wooing boring and struggled to finish this book. The relationship between Mark & Lake wasn’t developed. It seemed like a childhood crush that instantly became a family. No time was devoted to the two characters growing up together. I’d rather have spent some character development time vs the uninteresting romantic movie gestures. I wanted to put this book down at 46%.

Pull It Up is book 2 in The Donovans, a new series written by the talented author Cee Bowerman. This is Lake & Marc's story that takes place in Marlboro, Texas. I fell in love with all the Donovan's and Marc, they are so loyal and funny! This story was full of romance, passion, entertaining characters, family, close friends, small-town life and more. No cheating and No cliffhanger!!!

I absolutely loved Mark and Lake.
This story was so romantic and the relationship between the two was there from the beginning.
This wasn't like any other book I have read, not only was Mark, Quinn's best friend but he was part of the family and loved by everyone.
I really enjoyed seeing the family dynamics between everyone.

Just loved this book the Donovan's are so much fun and there is so much heart involved it just warms me . Can't wait for the next one . The only thing is I wish the stories were longer because I never want them to end . You've done it again Cee another beautiful story . 🌸

An amazing series
I've beening for this every since book 1. I love the series so far. Another smashing hit Cee Bowerman. I couldnt stop reading til i was finished it cover to cover. It had me laughing, crying and raging right along with the characters. The writing pulls you right into the story with them. Cant wait for the next one.

Romance
I loved the whole story.
Nothing to dislike about it. Especially in the girls mannerisms together. My sister in law has triplets but not identical. 2 boys 1 girl and they still do somethings together at the same time.
Recommend you to my my family and friends all the time.

Just Wow!!
Cee does it again she’s an absolute genius!! Every book is sooooo good!! I loved Mark and Lake. Mark was such a great guy he just had all that sweetness hidden!! If your looking for a great hilarious book this is definitely the series to read! You can never go wrong choosing a Cee Bowerman book!

Another homerun!!

Soul mates
They finally got together Lake and Mark. After years of loving each other from a far.
This love story had me laughing throughout the novel. I couldn't help but route for them.

Absolutely fantastic. Mark and Lake have loved each other for a very long time, but one drunken night together produced some wonderful results. They have never even dated, so Mark did a fabulous job wooing her. She had other things going on in her life and finally decided to break that chain. Wonderful love story. Happy reading.

Loved it I can't wait for the rest of the Donovon family. I love the bickering and jokes I laughed so much couldn't get enough. I wanted to know if her ex husband got hurt in the jail riot or not. I love the epligue the kids are hilarious. I totally recommend this book the series both books are fantastic. #Nookaholic

Phenomenal
This is the 2nd book in the series and cee did not disappoint yet again with her funny sassy and loving ability to create characters it's suck you into a storyline mark's romance is every woman's dream And then there is lake and finally gets the

Love this series I hope they Cee Boardman gives us more from the Donavan family. I laughed so hard with the epilogue, straight from the mou the of babes. The love these two had for each other is so strong and I loved the Wayne was trying to woo her. Loved all the movie references.
