Playing out their fantasy
Win a Date with a Firefighter is the ninth book in the The Curvy Girls’ Bachelor Auction series. Jackie is out at the charity bachelor auction for the hospital with a table of her friends with the possibility of meeting your forever love dancing in her head. As she peruses the program she quickly marks one bachelor, a bodyguard, to win for her best friend Birdie to make her fantasy come true. She also spots a sexy firefighter with the perfect name, Blaze, for herself. She wants something different for her date and goes about getting it with a call. Blaze is an overworked and over stressed firefighter who is always the one to be put up for fundraising events, and so he finds himself auctioned off for a date to the highest bidder. What he was not expecting was something different, a request, as to the type of date....a night at the firehouse with him. These two have a spark that starts to smoulder and is just about to catch when Jackie has a realization about her life and who exactly she and what she does in the world. Blaze is going to have to go after Jackie but he is not sure exactly how. But thanks to his best friend and fellow firefighter he gets an idea and goes about making it happen. It might not start out the way he wanted but in the end he does win the girl and they burn up the sheets together.
This book is a wonderful addition to this series and is the ending of the bachelor auctions in Denver. But don't be sad as their are more bachelor auctions in Seattle to be read about next.

Jackie wins Blaze at the charity auction. She’s always had a thing for firefighters since she was a little girl. Their date takes place at the fire station instead of the usual wine and dine dates of the other auction winners. Blaze has been hard on himself lately taking on a lot of responsibilities at work and putting pressure on himself. He does feel a spark with Jackie but thinks she will find him too boring and uninteresting. This was a wonderful read. Blaze is a quiet hero and never taking praise for whet he’s done. Jackie sees this and begins to wonder if she isn’t good enough for Blaze and all his good deeds. These two were perfect for one another as Jackie brought out Blaze’s fun loving side that had been lost and Blaze showed Jackie that she helped people in her own way. They had an electric connection and was emotional as well as physical. Looking forward to the new location for the next books.I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

One of those involved in the planning of the Bachelor Auction fundraiser, Jackie decides to gift herself with a date with the firefighter up for auction. Blaze is the handsome alpha firefighter whose not all that thrilled with being "won" - until he lays eyes on Jackie. The two have an instant and intense connection but both will have to get out of their own way if they want to burn up together rather than fizzle out.
A fun, entertaining and swoon-worthy read! Another delightful entry in this fantastic series!

Blaze is the one the Chief calls on to give tours of the firehouse and to talk to those who offer donations, so he was the one that was put up for the Auction.
Jackie and Blaze have an instant connection as he crashes into when she walks in. By the end of the date, Jackie realized what a hero Blaze is and does not feel worthy.
Great fast romance that will make you smile and warm your heart. Jackie and Blaze's chemistry is electric, their big hearts will have you melting.

This is the 9th book in the “The Curvy Girl Bachelor Auction Series”. This is a fast past easy quick read, entertaining, steamy with a great plot. Jackie has always had a thing for firefighters and when she finds out that Blaze will be a bachelor at the auction she is determine to win her super sexy fireman. Jackie is at a charity auction and she bids and wins a fantasy date with super sexy firefighter Blaze. Jackie and Blaze’s date is at the firehouse. Jackie and Blaze have awesome time together. Love the connection and chemistry between Jackie and Blaze.

I loved Book 9 of The Curvy Girls’ Bachelor Auction. This time we have firefighter Blaze and rich girl Jackie. The chemistry between Blaze and Jackie is hot but when their date is interrupted by Blaze saving a kid, Jackie realizes he’s way to good for her. She’s just a socialite and not as important as Blaze. So she walks away. Can Blaze convince her they are better together? A great storyline and lovable characters. I would love to see Monroe knocked on his bottom. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

Jackie has a firefighter fantasy so when she wins a date with a firefighter in a charity auction she’s very excited. Blaze is a little grumpy but really a wonderful caring person. Their attraction is instant. Jackie runs when she feels she is not good enough for Blaze but he won’t let her go, he’s determined to fulfil her fantasies and be her forever. Very sweet and romantic story with fantastic chemistry and a beautiful HEA.

Jackie has had a thing for firemen, when she sees Blaze is one of the bachelors at the auction, she is determined to win him for herself. Even better their date is at the firehouse, their initial encounter knocks the breath out of both them.
Blaze is not just a fireman he is a good guy and his selfless displays make her think she is not good enough for the firefighter and ends the date. What Jackie does not know is she left an impression on Blaze and said firefighter is determined to go after his girl.

The fantasy continued with the auctions for bachelors, when Jackie wins her date with firefighter, Blaze. Blaze was a true hero, he always managed to pass the glory off to his bestfriend. Jackie decided Blaze was a better person than she was even if she had helped raise millions for charity, because she never missed a photo opportunity. A fun exciting story perfect for a quick afternoon break or before bedtime.

This book was awesome - I fell in love with Blaze and Jackie. Blaze is a firefighter who was win at a charity auction by Jackie. Jackie is a trust fund baby. Charity work is all she knows. When she meets Blaze she realizes what a REAL hero is.
This author has a series of books in this collection but each one can be read as a standalone. This book was so much fun to read! The steamy parts were fun too!.

Finally the organizer of the curvy girls bachelor auction gets her date and HEA. I liked both Jackie and Blaze as characters. The chemistry seemed to struggle a little bit at first but a few competitive games of foosball and mister grumpy was a little less gruff. We also get to see the heart of gold side of him during a rescue. It makes Jackie rethink what she does with her time and money, but also makes her question whether she’s worthy of his attention. I liked that together they could be the best versions of themselves.

Sweet story!!!!
Jackie won a date with a firefighter Blaze.... Jackie realize what a great guy Blaze was, the way he handled the little boy, made him smile, and the way he saves life and cares for people.... Jackie realize she wasn't good enough for Blaze and decided to end the date and not go forward with another one with him because she feels he is better off without her.... But Blaze proves her wrong that she is good enough for him and that she does good things too, that she doesn't give her self enough credit.... It was a sweet kind short story....

I loved this story. Usually, the male character is the one who walks away thinking he's not good enough for the girl. In "Win a Date with a Firefighter" roles are reversed and it's Jackie who doesn't think she's good enough for Blaze. But she is! And she is also what was lacking in his life. Lots of romance in this book. five stars.

I thought that this was a really good book. I enjoyed Jackie and Blaze together with their wonderful connection in chemistry. These 2 have a really good 1st date from the auction. Blaze knows that Jackie is the woman for him but Jackie decides to run but she won't get far with blaze chasing her. I really enjoyed this book and this series and I can't wait to see what else we get from Kate.

She’s always had a thing for firefighters, so she wins him at the charity auction. He takes her on a date at the fire station. He’s a bit hard on himself for the responsibilities at work, he falls for her quickly, but thinks she’ll find him too boring. She on the other hand feels not worth enough since he’s great in her eyes. This is a great read, I wholeheartedly recommend. She helps him find the fun side and he lifts her up as well.

A great short read, the latest in the series of the bachelor auction dates. Blaze is a firefighter, who Jackie bids for with a memory of a firefighter from her past. Will the date be all she hopes it will be? I liked how it is told from both of their points of view.

This was a cute grumpy sunshine romance. I liked the story but I didn’t feel like the chemistry between Jackie and Blaze was that strong. As characters I liked them both but I just didn’t necessarily feel the connection between them. But it was a well written story and I did like it.

A fun, quick, steamy romance story. This is book nine in this series The Curvy Girls' Bachelor Auction, It was just as entertaining as the previous ones. In this story we are introduced to Jackie and Blaze. This is their journey to their happily ever after. I am looking forward to the new auction location in Seattle and what stories come from there.

Jackie had the idea to have a bachelor auction for a good cause. She wants to help her friends to maybe meet their HEA in this way😉 She sees a picture of Blaze and just knows she has to win the date. Great stand alone novella but an even better follow up read to the other books in the series. From them we know that Jackie is this outspoken loving person that wants only the best for those around her. A great match for our heroic firefighter blaze.

Loving the newest book in the Win a Date series. Kate has given us so many wonderful couple in this incredible series. I love Jackie and her Firefighter Blaze. These two have the greatest story and I hope this series never ends. Always an awesome read from this author.

This fun and flirty little story with a grumpy firefighter, Blaze, and a sunshine Jackie, ends up with a bit of emotional and deep feelings as Jackie realizes a truth about herself. I like this cute story in this good series about the bachelor auction. The writing is nicely done.
