This is the fifth book of the Merciless Mafia Men each book reads as a standalone yet connect through characters each book has an older man rendered powerless by the younger women that captured their hearts. Tomas sexy as all get out head of security for works with Viktor the head of the bratva working long hours protecting his boss, leaving him really no time to date but while at the birthday party for Viktor’s daughter he notices a beautiful woman that takes his breath away and makes him lose attention to his surroundings. Amelia sweet a little shy under her mother’s thumb, rarely let out from under her control for so long, longs to live her own life the moment she notices the sexy older guy at the party watching him feels like a breath of fresh air and her mother would never allow it but that doesn’t stop her or him for that matter. The attraction is instant, intense and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored or walked away from one touch and they are both in a heap of trouble trying to deny it but hm meeting her in her garden leaves him knowing that she is the one and he is willing to do whatever it takes to make her his including facing off with his boss and her mother once she finds out about the two of them but will her mother put a stop to it, will she grow a strong enough back bone to stand up to her mother to fight for what her heart knows is true, will Viktor back him in or demand he walk away for the business deal, and will it end with a HEA?.

Forbidden Love is the fifth installment in the Merciless Mafia Men series written by B.L. Brooks. This steamy novella can be read as a standalone but is part of an interconnected world. Amelia Barron is a beautiful petite 19-year-old young woman accompanying her controlling mother to an event for the first time. Tomas is a silver fox that is head of security for the Bratva leader, Viktor, and he finds himself drawn to Amelia’s presence. He loves her small stature and wants to hold her by his side forever. Consequences be damned, he approaches Amelia and the chemistry is sizzling. Things heat up very quickly and Tomas will do anything to make Amelia his.

The problem is that Amelia is like a princess. Her mother runs a gambling club for the Bratva and is the head of Barron International. There is no way she would be happy to see her daughter dating a simple guard in the Bratva. However Tomas meets up with Amelia and sparks fly. She is willing to meet Tomas in secret. Will her mom care about their feelings if she ever finds out?.

An age gap mafia romance with the added tension of different stations in life. Tomas is a steamy and intense older mafia enforcer who is taken by Amelia from the first moment he sees her. He’s a fantastic character with so much passion for the younger beauty. Amelia is a great character too with hopes to have more control over her own life. The biggest thing standing in their way is her mother, and stations are very important to her. What will she think of her daughter with a bodyguard? Their story is extremely enjoyable to read with tons of steam and a beautiful ending.

OMG, Tomas is now my favorite Bravtva man! One look at his Princess, Amelia, and he can’t stay away. Their age difference, his position in the Bravtva, her mother, it all disappears when she is in his arm’s. Tomas has found his princess and he’ll do anything to have her. It’s a good thing Amelia is just as attracted to Tomas. You will definitely love this latest addition to the merciless mafia men series!

The author has given us a quick older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Tomas and Amelia and does not let go. One look is enough for Tomas to break all the rules in order to have Amelia in his life.

A short sexy read. The hero was smitten from first glance at the young beauty. He had to test the waters & then he had to claim her. Fortunately he was supported by his Bratva boss although her mother insisted on a contract. Didn't deter them in finding their hea. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

Short, hot and to the point. This can be read as a standalone, but is part of a series. Thomas is drawn to much younger Amelia. And when the two get together, there is no doubt that they belong together and will be together, no matter the cost. Nice ending.
