What happens when an almost thirty-something-year-old plus-size woman embarks on an exotic work trip?
Danger, drama, and multiple dashing men compete for her curves.
Travel agent Kristin Pierce's life mainly revolves around the office. She doesn't mind her job; however, she does mind trying to avoid her coworker, Randy Thompson—an obnoxious jerk she once overheard rudely critiquing her weight.
Now they're about to embark on a journey where they'll be forced to see a lot more of each other. Nobody could anticipate the chaos that awaits.
Trouble in Plus Size Paradise is a short, thrilling series proving that curvy women attract more handsome men than they might think.
I received an Ebook ARC of this book by the author through Instagram and my Amazon email. There was no specific review date given. It took me longer than anticipated to read this due to my busy schedule. Recently, the author threatened legal action if a review was not posted in the next day via a story and post on Instagram. I wanted to give this book a read, and feel bad it took me some time to get to it, but did not appreciate the threat. Prior to this author’s threats, I was very excited about this book. I’m all for plus sized representation in fiction as I am plus sized and feel seen by books with characters like me. I want to support the authors who write these characters and enjoy the stories they write. The following is my honest review of this book: The premise of this story intrigued me. A steamy love story in paradise sounds glorious. While Kristin was easy to relate to, I often felt she was one dimensional. Her inner dialogue about her work nemesis was childish at times. Her immediate reaction to Al’s flirting was very relatable. Leo’s introduction and subsequent invitation to dinner felt fake to me. The book ended so abruptly and without much resolution. There is a sequel to the story, but I don’t feel invested enough in the book to read it.
Kristin works at Dreamtime Vacations. She show her reading nice romantic places to go. Her boss send her on a new adventure. Where she meets someone special. Oh and the best part is she a plus size lady. Can’t wait to see what comes next.
Trouble In Plus Size Paradise was a very quick but interesting read. Kristin was caught the interest of two men Alejandro and Mr. Ruiz. This book is part of a series. Emily Bright is a new author to me.
A good start to this series. I like the characters so far as well as liked the backstory so far. I am looking forward to see where things are going with Leo and Alejandro. I wonder if any other hotties will be vying for our Curvy Girl of the story?
