Stone Riley is the head of security for the Dark Lord of London. Stone is a vampire hybrid. He is good at what he does. He speaks little and interacts marginally. He had a rough life growing up. The unwanted son of a whore, grew up in a brothel until he was sold by his mother to a fight ring master. Fighting his way to survive he fought for years only to be sold to a corrupt couple as a pet. He was used and abused for years before he escaped and killed the abusers. He eeked out a miserable existence until he met Leopold Yates the Vampire Dark Lord of London. Stone does not expect to find a fated mate as he does not feel that he deserves it.

Reika Hashimoto is a modern woman. She is a Fae half-witch with a little shifter into the mix. Her magic involves enhancing the taste of anything organic. She is involved in running a bakery. One day she would like to open her own restaurant/bakery featuring Canadian and Japanese cuisine. She is sitting on a park bench in the Pacific Northwest over looking the sea. Then something tugged her backward… then nothing.
Yesinia Yates the fated mate of Leopold Yates is a Time Wielding Witch. She is honing her newly discovered craft. She came backward in time to meet her fated mate Leo. She sent notes to her sister and brother in the future. Her attempt is to bring someone’s fated mate. She reaches out and brings Reika. When a vampire finds their fated mate, their heart starts beats, their lungs inflate and they breath, after being in a frozen state. They bring various vampires in to ‘see’ Reika to find out is she is their fated mate. Stone is reluctant. As soon as he touches her everything changes. She is his fated mate.
Can they help each other navigate 1890 London? Will Stone accept Reika as a modern woman? How will Reika adapt to being 113 years in the past? This is a journey of discovery for both. I loved this book; the time travel is intriguing. The characters are realistic and interesting. This book is fast paced. Grab this book it is the third in the very good series.

I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
Riveting third book in the series, great characters and wonderful storyline
This was a simply spectacular read where once again a shifter from the future has been brought into the past, they have been brought to be with them fated mate and once they arrive, they are never able to return back to their original time.
Reika is half Fae Witch and half Shifter and she discovers that she is the “Fated Mate” to Stone Riley who is half vampire and half wolf shifter and the long-time friend and associate to Leo Yates, the Dark Lord of London.
Reika and Stone have an instant attraction being that they are Fared Mates and as she gets to know him as they work alongside each other in Leo’s kitchen, to stop him from losing his mind since she blooded him. It is essential that they lay together and that he feeds from her once otherwise he will lose himself to the madness.
When she is kidnapped by the French vampires and taken from the safety of the Gaming Hell and Stone and Leo set out to rescue her he realises without a doubt that life without her would not be living.
As they both declare their feelings for each other, even though it has only been a matter of days they both know that they wish to be together, they will be married and Reika would like to continue with her love of cooking and possibly one day achieving her dream of combining both Japanese tastes with American recipes.
This is a wonderful read and once again you will be left looking forward to see who will be the next Fated Mate to travel through time to meet their true love.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

With her own particular brand of wit, romance, steamy scenes and snark, Reika is a great female protagonist and a wonderful addition to the series.
We have the continuation of the multiple story arcs; Yessenia controlling her time wielding powers, the threat of a different vampire group, Nora and River's work with female safe houses and the secret missions her adult son Ambrose goes on, which also involve Stone.osy of these are mentioned in the background but keep the reader aware of these story threads.
There's of course moments of peril, but the scenes in between are sweet as Stone slowly reveals his cinnamon roll dynamic.
This third book brings in more characters to get to know and is a pure delight.

It's a little shorter than I like. She was thrown back in time not knowing what was happening. While she was unconscious people went 2 touch her 2 c if she would blood anyone. She did. Stone was very good at his job and was shocked that he found his mate. Even though they started out slow on getting 2 know each other, she managed 2 get him 2 open up and he rarely talked. When people r petty others pay 4 it even when it wasn't their fault. What happened? Read it and find out. I liked it a lot. I didn't like how his bitch of a mom did 2 him and treated him in his past. But people can learn things in their past.

In this latest Dark Lords of London story, Yesenia has once again used her time traveling powers to find a fated mate for ones of the vampires in 1890 London. That turns out to be half fae witch, half shifter, Reika Hashimoto. Reika is from Vancouver 2003 and it quite surprised to find out that not only do time-wielding witches exist and is she is no longer in 2003 but she also has a fated mate: Stone Riley. Stone is our typical half vampire, half shifter growly male. He doesn't have much to say but he is the head of the vampire's security and takes his job as protector very seriously. His life hasn't been easy and he isn't so sure he deserves a fated mate, but he can't deny the pull he feels toward Reika. Together, they make a great pair! Reika isn't afraid to stand her ground and can coax and smile from Stone in a way no one else can. Their story was fun and sweet and another step toward building up this world and all the conflicts in 1890 London. You definitely don't want to miss this story as you dive into this new world!

This is the 3rd book in Jessie Donovan’s new series and the books get better and better. A short novella, but sooo worth the read. Reika is a very positive character and I loved her attitude towards life. Stone becomes a very lovable character with his attempts to remain gruff. The interaction between these two characters is very entertaining. If you haven’t read the first two in the series, I highly recommend that you do. It is a time travel series with fae witches, vampires and shifters. A great read!

I absolutely loved this next book in the Dark Lords of London series! This one is shorter than the others so far, but I think that worked in its favor. It moved along quickly and had all the cute and fuzzies along with the steam we all look for with our couple. Stone is a hard one to crack with all his own demons, but Reika is up for the challenge, if she can come to terms with being thrown back to the 19th Century. Reika and Stone are the perfect couple and I can't wait to see more of them in the books to come. I really enjoyed this one and couldn't put it down.

I really enjoyed Reika and Stone story. I loved there chemistry and like how they balanced each other out. With the added intrigue, action, and steamy encounter definitely made for a helluva read looking forward to the next book in this great series. Reika and Stone story was extremely enjoyable and hilarious with a dose of danger.
I adored their banter, teasing and their courtship, how well her funny side contrasted with his grumpiness, and how they found happiness.

Out of the three stories from this series, this one is my favorite. I love, love, love our silent vampire guard and his fated mate. There is no dark feelings in this book even though Stone had a terrible past. Reika made everything light with her presence. She was just the person for our Stone.

This book tore at my heart strings. After all the awful things Stone had to endure growing up this wonderful woman filled his beautiful heart with love and kindness. What a heart warming story. I can’t wait for the next one.

This is a really good short story. What is better than a sexy brooding man and a beautiful strong willed woman. The time travel, and paranormal aspect was awesome, as well as the sex. Great combination all around. I’m looking forward to the next book.

This book gives us Reika Hashimoto and Stone Riley’s story. As the prior two books in this series, one of this couple is moved from the present day back into Victorian England. This is a short book, but very enjoyable. Stone is the half-shifter half-vampire head of security for Leo Yates and his wife, the witch Yesenia. Yesenia has the power to bring fated mates together, which is the premise behind the stories. Each of the books can be read as a single story but are better when read in order so the characters and background story mesh together. I received and ARC of the book from the author through BookFunnel and this is my honest opinion.

Reika and Stone are such a perfect couple - light and dark - complimenting each other. Stone is very scarred from his past, but you can tell he is desperately hoping for happiness. Reika is that sunny happiness all wrapped up as a gift for him. It is a novella, so it was short and sweet, but I still felt like I got everything I needed to know about these two. Reika is hilarious! I kept smiling and laughing - as did Stone! I read it right through in one sitting, and it left me excited to see where the series is going next! Love this series!
