When a woman is murdered in the course of a major robbery, and the police are out of leads, Violet is called onto the case. But what initially looks like a simple murder is soon exposed to be a far greater threat.
And with DCI Johnson having gone underground, Cassie and Violet have more answers to uncover, and very few leads to follow.
Will they solve the case, or will Lily's secret plan stop them in their tracks?
The Cassie Coburn mysteries are a cozy mystery series featuring a Sherlock-holmes style sleuth. If you want a light, fun, modern mystery featuring a San Francisco girl totally out of her element in London, and a crazy French woman who happens to be very good at noticing things, then this is the series for you.
Samantha Silver lives in British Columbia, Canada, along with her husband and seventeen-year-old dog named Terra.
When she's not writing cozy mysteries, Samantha loves travelling (she's most recently been to Egypt, Jordan and Florida) skiing, eating Dairy Queen, and complaining about how hard running is.
Knifed in Knightsbridge is the Eleventh and Final book in the Cassie Coburn Mystery series.
I absolutely LOVED this series so much. As sad as I am the series is ending, the author does an absolute fantastic job of sending off Cassie, Violet, and the gang in the best possible way.
This final book was action and emotions throughout the book.
I loved every second of it. I highly recommend this series.
The cliffhanger in the last book made want to read this book right away. However I knew that I needed to go slowly so as not to miss any details. Now I'm glad I took my time and was very happy for Cassie and Violet doing what they do best and catching not 1 but 3 bad people in one book!!! I hope this isn't the end because this ending needs to be explored a bit more!!
This is book 11 of a very entertaining mystery series. An American is hit by a car 6 months before graduation, abruptly ending her surgical career. With the money from her settlement, she runs away to London to hide and decide what she wants to do with her life. She comes across an arrogant French woman who is as smart as Sherlock Holmes in real life. They slowly become friends and partners. The characters grow with each book. The secondary characters are fleshed out. The books can be read in about 6 hrs. They should be read in order. The mysteries are good. You won't be disappointed. Great beach read. Free on kindle unlimited.
Great characterizations, excellent plot, good movement and timing, the characters were well rounded, and I’d love you too the whole series. You will, too. I enjoy reading them in order.
I love reading these. They are easy reads and light entertainment. But it really bugs me that all the detectives are DCIs, especially DCI Johnson, who was supposed to be 23/24. Whatever happened to DC, DS, DI?
Samantha Silver protest through her characters Violet and Cassie a believable and enchanting mystery that keeps the reader on the edge of the page. This was a great story and I lived the ending.
Just really enjoyed this book. Full of suspense making you wonder just how the issues will be resolved. Love the characters and the inter action between the two young ladies and with the police department.
This great mystery has two puzzles this time. How can a murdered famous artist have died 72 hours prior to being found when the neighbour swears she saw her alive later than the pathologist determined? Plus, Violet and Cassie may have a chance to put Violet's criminal mastermind sister, Lily, behind bars for good after Cassie is brutally stabbed by one of Lily's minions. More twists and turns than a London street, this is an exciting addition to this series. If you haven't read the other Cassie Coburn mysteries, you will want to after reading this one. I highly recommend them all.
