Our London has dove into piano, and over summer vacation, she attended music camp. She played many of your pieces, and each night as I sat and watched her play, I smiled and clapped for her. I feel like I’ve been distant from her, and it scares me. I need to be present for them, and in order to do that, I need to be whole. Without you, I struggle every day to become that again.
I have dreams of you often, not the nightmares that I had before, but very pleasant dreams, sometimes too pleasant. I still haven’t slept in our bed, and I fear I never will again.
It’s been eight months without you, and I know when I smell your pillow, it truly isn’t your scent I smell, but the memory of it. People say memories fade … and that scares me senseless. Shes done it again!
Got to say m j field has done it again. This book absolutely fire. It will have your heart strings pulled in all different directions good and bad ways. From start to finish I couldn't put it down. Although I did have to take brief breaks to allow my heart to calm down to finish reading it. You will not regret reading this book but it certainly leaves me panting waiting for the next. This other just has a way with words and everything and made me feel like I was there the whole time throughout the book like I was part of it.

Absolutely Fantastic Story😊😀
This story was so moving, entertaining, exciting and confusing as hell at times!!. When I would read a part that would confuse me I would take a break to think about what I had read and then I would start reading again!!. MJ is a FANTASTIC storyteller and is a PHENOMENAL writer!!. Her stories keep you interested from the beginning to the last page!!😁😂.

This book picks up where the first book ended. To say this book was a whirlwind of emotions, is no lie.

MJ Fields wrote a heartbreaking and devastatingly amazing book, that will have your emotions all over the place. You will cry, your heart will break, you will want to hug these characters, you will want to punch a few (wink), and your heart will fill with love. You will be all over the place. This story is dark and riveting, but is completely brilliant. And now to wait patiently (impatient) for the final book in this amazing series.

5 heartbreaking stars. Words don’t adequately express every single emotion you will experience in this book. I will say it is dark and has triggers for sure, but if your heart can take it, take a chance on Brody Hines.

The impact of this story is no less second time around. Brody is missing and Emma and his girls are trying to live whilst not giving up hope. His return is celebrated but the months he was missing have taken a toll on him in ways that neither could have imagined. I love the relationship between London and Brody he is the strong loving influence she needs when life gets hard. Emma's fighting spirit has never been more needed or stronger. The love between them has never been an issue but outside forces are determined to cause problems. The direction the story went in and the twists and turns kept me glued to the pages hurtling toward another cliffhanger ending.

The story continues and is even better!
Love the plot line. It is sexy hot, plus there is mystery and thrills to boot! We have a HOT rock star, with quite a past. No matter what he has done to become a new man, his past has come to hound him and his new family.
Cannot wait for the last book of this trilogy.

I had to continue reading & although I cant wait for the 3rd book to come out ,,, I was just as confused in this book as I was in the first one.

The intensity level on this one is set to scorching. Brody has been missing for eight months after heading overseas to London to try and locate Emma's long lost sister. This retrieval unfortunately sets off a chain of devastating effects leading to Brody being captured and held under duress for months, causing memory loss among other scars left from his time being held.
Emma and Brody have both been through so much, together and apart and are still working through who to trust and if they can still work as a pair. All the while secrets, heartache and bombshells keep dropping on them at every turn.
Emma is trying to do the right thing by her girls, but her love for Brody is strong. Even though she sees he does not come back the same man as he was before his ordeal and is still dealing with the aftermath of what he went through whilst being held captive. I was on the edge of my seat, tears were shed and there is another cliffhanger at the end of this, however I was still left wanting more anyway. This is an incredible series.

Wow a romance that is filled with so much more than just romance. We get a story that is filled with issues come from our nightmares and a hero that you will fight till the end for. Brody Hines a British rock god that has gone to hell and come back a bit dent just to bring closure for the love of his life.
I fell for Brody harder in this book that I did in the first. His sacrifice and the mental torture he suffers due to this sacrifice made me love him even more. I felt a bigger connection to him and the fight that he had for his Emma than I did for Emma.
M.J. Fields has given us a book that is so gripping and emotional that it is grips your world and send it into a tails spin. Here we have romance, deceit, danger, betrayal, death and more surprises that will have your head spinning!
I am eagerly awaiting the third book in this romance to see our hero overcome his demons and have the HEA he deserves with the love of his life…. Please!

This is the second installment in this series and the continuation to Emma & Brody's story which has so many ups and downs; trying to find their way. I had my emotions going up and down with this one but I found that I enjoyed it better than the first one for some reason I can't explain. It ends with a small cliffhanger again so will definitely have to read the next one to know the ending.
Emma has been through so much and with Brody gone, she has to stay strong for her daughters but when he returns back into their lives, it feels like the battle has just begun. With so many things still unknown and to find out what has happened in his life, it's hard for Emma to hold on to their love but something between them makes them fight hard for each other although a lot is still thrown at them. When tragedy strikes, they just know that being together is when they're the strongest. Will they find their way?...

4 stars. Very good start to this book. I had no idea what was going on though. Brody was missing and had been for quite a while, months. Emma’s sister made an appearance as well as little Lexi. From the beginning, this story is one tragedy after another. Emma handle’s it okay but I did get frustrated with her when she kept wanting to give up on everything and then she changed into this strong super mom/wife person that I was more impressed with. I couldn’t put this book down. The story veers off into a mystery, murder, running, hiding, finding more family, just a whirlwind of different directions but I was able to keep up and enjoyed the ride. There are a lot of sex scenes, which after awhile I did skim over to get back to the story. Not a lot that I can say without giving everything away, so I recommend to continue reading this series, I’ve really enjoyed it thus far.

Emma is struggling to cope on her own with a 9 year old and a baby but she still hasn't given up hope of Brody being alive.
When Brody returns he is not the man that he was but even though he has lost some of his memory he remembers Emma and London her daughter.
When secrets start coming out will Emma be able to cope with what Brody was put through.
They are happy together but he is still keeping things from her and what she needs s total honesty.
When things start to happen and people are getting injured and worse can they find out who is doing this to them.
So much drama and suspense with plenty of emotion but can they work it out before it gets any worse.
Can't wait for the final book.

This is Book Two in The Brody Hines series. Emma Hines is rock star Brody ‘s wife they have a beautiful and adorable baby girl Lexington. London is their older daughter. Brody is considered dead but Emma knows he is alive.
When he does come back from an ordeal their life may never be the same. This is an absolute must read! It’s captivating, with all of the good, sad and bad feelings! I laughed and I cried and then there are hot love scenes.
This is such a roller coaster of emotions and I loved Brody and Emma! For me this is a 10 Star ⭐️ all around.
And I took my time reading it because I love MJ Fields books so much I don’t want to rush reading them.
I am eagerly looking forward to Book Three in The Brody Hines Series!
And by the way, the music in this book is so very good and beautiful!

Wrapped in Armor is the second book in the Brody Hines trilogy and continued where book 1 left off. This story was heartbreaking and will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. It was a was dark yet engrossing tale, filled with drama, angsty, suspense, mystery, secrets and unexpected twists and turns. Both Brody and Emma went through so much in this book and their love was really put to the test especially with Brody keeping things from Emma which led to so much unnecessary mistrust between them. The story gave us some new characters and we also get previous favorites. I was at the edge of my seat throughout frantically turning the pages needing to know what happens next. It all ends in a cliff hanger and I anxiously await book 3. This novel was well written and was a great read. I loved it and would highly recommend it.

Having read Wrapped In Silk i started looking forward to this second installment right away. I picked it up and got back into The Brody Hines world! I enjoyed this second book!
Emma and Brody's journey continues! I wasn't sure what all was going to happen next with these two! I got back into this world quickly.
Once again these two characters and their story had me going through many different emotions all throughout! I didn't know what all to expect / how these two would tackle things and i really liked that!
With Wrapped In Armor, Ms.Fields has created a good continuation that had me feeling so much! I am so looking forward to book three!

What happens when the man you love disappears? Brody Hines is missing and Emma is beside herself not knowing what has happened. Sometimes love is found when you least expect it and that is what happened for Emma and Brody.
Wrapped In Armor was an emotional roller coaster of a read. There were a number of twists and turns and I freely admit to be a little confused at time, not to mention I was on the edge of my seat. How much an anyone take before it breaks them?
When Brody finally makes his way back to Emma, he is a broken man and whilst the story is steamy it also has elements of suspense and mystery which intrigued me.

So many ups and downs and twists and turns! Just when I think it will all be okay, another bomb is dropped.
Emma has been through hell and back trying to be strong for her girls. When Brody comes back a shell of a man, it will take a lot for them to become one again. They both are protecting each other but not letting the other in. My heart broke for what’s happened.
Im anxious to see what comes of there story and if they truly can have a happily ever after or if they are fated to be torn from one another.

Absolutely Phenomenal .I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Wrapped in Armour . This story is a tear jerker . I definitely needed tissues . It's so intense and emotional . So much heartbreak and pain just makes them a strong couple . Brody and Emma have such a strong bond but it's put to the test . They have so much to get through to maybe get a happy ending . MJ has written another master piece ! I love this story hard . I highly recommend taking the time to read . Five Star all the way !

MJ never fails to send me on that rollercoaster of emotions when I’m sucked into her stories and book 2 in this series - Wrapped in Armour MORE than does that, I veered from sobbing my heart out, angry as h€ll to laughing out load!

This book will take your on an highly intense emotional roller coaster!! It tore me a part and made me cry so many times. Brody and Emma’s love story is a never ending road of twist and turns. These characters are so immensely addictive and their story is provocative, intriguing and gripping. TRULY OUTSTANDING!!! The remarkable writing talents of this author are so astounding.
A word of warning, once you start this series you can’t put it down.

Broke my Armor!
So i have read Mj's Wrapped series many times because I love Em & Brody's story...it's seriously one of my favorites! Mj's rewrite of this in 1st person made it so much MORE! Getting into Brody's head & actually seeing into his soul on a deeper level just put this series at my #1!!! I laughed, cried so much (not because of sadness) & now i can say my face has an awe stuck look on it lol. Mj you floored me with this book & i love the extra tidbits!!!!

What an emotional roller coaster! I loved Brody, I hated Brody, my heart broke for Brody, I was pissed as hell at Brody and then there's Emma who was living it as I was just reading it. She has to be one of the strongest character I have ever read. I would have broke and been done.. BUT NOT EMMA she may have wavered at times but love kept her strong.
The things this couple went through are unimaginable but the ending...
WTH is going on?? I need the next book NOW!
