They say the best laid plans often go astray—or something like that.
Anyway, I thought it would be easy to infiltrate a gang of bad guys to help my friends bring them down. But I was wrong.
Don’t judge. I did it so the man who has my heart could rescue me and we’d head off into the sunset together and live our happily ever after.
But that guy, FBI agent Reed Roberts, is nowhere to be found. Now I need someone, anyone, to help me out of this. The problem is, nobody knows where I’m being held captive.
Denise has been reading since before she could talk. And to this day, escaping into a book is her go-to activity before anything else.
She likes to write about sassy women and semi-flawed alpha-esque men (hard on the outside and just a little soft on the inside.) Denise’s female characters always have strong friendships, potty mouths, and like to drink—a lot.
Denise is loyal to a fault, a bit too sarcastic, blindingly optimistic, and pretty freakin’ happy with life overall. If she couldn't be a writer, she'd be a singer in a classic rock band. Right after she learned to carry a tune. She has more purses than days in the month, an obsession with colored ink pens, and a slightly unhealthy bracelet habit.
Home is in the Pacific Northwest where she lives with six Siberian Huskies and a husband (BW) who has the patience and tolerance of a saint. And, lest she forget, Denise also lives with too many to count characters inside her head, who will eventually have their stories told.
This was the 3rd Installment in Dirty Darlings series & I was pleasantly surprised by How much I loved❤ this book without reading the previous ones😅 (p.s. thankful for the prologue!)
ARC received in exchange for a honest review.
#My 1st book from Denise wells & I'm definitely going for more!
This series explores the story of Daria- An assassin, Her friend Quinn, D's Boyfriend Mack and Q's lover Reed, Both in FBI. D & M are together after the adventures in the previous story. while R & Q are a couple in Making, This book is a major point in their almost-relationship.
I really liked the concept of 4 POVs, though we have to keep up with it, it was fresh & entertaining to see the plot from so very different mindsets😍
All books' plot is heavily interconnected so I recommend reading them in order ;-)
This story explores the Kidnapping of Quinn in the aftermath of Reed's disappearance. Her despairs are shown very well, I could feel her pain & confusions. And Reed, oh boy, he was intense🔥.. *Happy sigh*. Him coming to her rescue soothed my heart💕
Hell breaks loose in this fast paced read with Explosions, sex traffickers, family drama, love, Adrenaline, Friendships, poop Jokes😁 & a rescue.
All in all, A thrilling story with an engaging plot that I read in one seating & with the way it ended, I'm looking forward to the next one❤
P.s. I really loved how Mack & Daria progressed as a couple in this story, there is history here & I'm so reading the previous books to know them😄
Loved this read. I read it in one sitting. So action packed and fast paced. It will keep you on the edge of your seats trying to figure out who is the real villain. Loved this story and I can't wait to read what is next in the Dirty Darlings world.
Dirty Quinn, another good book by Denise Wells! This is an action packed book that has you trying to figure out who really is the bad guy. Hoping there is more coming in this series!
What a fantastic funny book! I haven’t laughed so hard in ages! Quinn manages to get herself kidnapped and her best friend, Daria, along with her friends go far beyond normal lengths to find her. Daria ends up hospitalized after she almost gets blown up with her own bomb making supplies. Mack runs to be by Daria’s side and while at the hospital, her enemy, Ronan Sinclair, arrives to make a deal, letting them know that he is the one who kidnapped Quinn. And then the antics begin...Reed has no idea that Quinn has been taken, nor that she is being held in a room in the same house that he’s working undercover in. Daria’s girl crew and Mack formulate a plan to sneak in and get her, but you it’s not going to go smoothly.
I was given an arc from the author in exchange for my review. I am new to this series, but was able to keep up with the story. Quinn the bubbly, optimistic one in a group of vigilante women brought together by Daria. These woman have banned together to inflict their own brand of justice against the Russian monsters dealing in human trafficking. Quinn comes up with the idea to be kidnapped by them so the man she loves, Reed, can rescue her. Not the best idea, especially when she actually gets kidnapped before trying to. It's up to Daria, her man, Mack, and her girls to find Quinn. They can't ask Reed to help because no one knows where he has disappeared to. This book was action packed and fast paced, really grasp your attention! I really looking forward to the next installment!!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I have questions. Like really good questions but it’s not bad at all because I know that they probably will be answered in the next book in this series and it makes me really happy.
Quinn is a very lovely girl but her mind works in a league of its own. I’m not sure she’s supposed to be let out into the world alone. She is not able to handle it. Lucky for her she has really bad ass friends to help her out of the worst places she has to endure.
This book is a fast paced story with twists and turns that will not come to a conclusion but it does not end in a cliffhanger. I thoroughly enjoyed the read.
I cannot get enough of this series, it’s the best feeling. I love reading the multi-characters point of view, and no it doesn’t get confusing at all. I’m used to it with this series, i couldn’t imagine it any different. I don’t want to talk much about the book, because I don’t want to give too much away, but I’m ready for the next book for sure!
This story has our two couples but really features Quinn prominently. Quinn who maybe needs a keeper?
Daria, Mack and Reed have to find her. Secrets are revealed. Reed sneaks out, Quinn is so in over her head. Big time. Mack is going rogue. Fast paced and slick.
My favorite book in the series so far! It was faced paced and action packed. I couldn’t put it down. I was on the edge of me seat trying to figure out who the bad guy was. I can’t wait for the next book!
I’m loving this series! Quinn gets herself kidnapped and the fun begins (no spoilers from me). This story is action packed, fast paced, and suspenseful, that kept me hooked and turning the pages to see who the bad guy really was. Absolutely loved this book and this series and highly recommend it.
This book was very gripping and full of laughs. It was a quick read with a quick review to refresh the reader on what happened before jumping into the next part of this awesome storyline. I highly recommend this book!!!
What a wonderful read. I truly enjoyed reading about the characters. Its a page turner and kept my interest. It has some twists and turns. Its a wonderful well written story. I read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
Denise Wells has added Another great installment of the Dirty Darlings. Great storyline with plenty of action kept me turning pages. Can’t wait for Dirty Roxie!! Keep writing them Denise & I’ll keep reading them!!!
She did it again. This is another cliffhanger. Now, we don't know what happened to Reed. He’s missing again. Luckily, I have the next book, and I’m hopeful that will be it.
I don’t say this because I’m tired of reading the series. I’m actually enjoying it quite a bit. I just hate cliffhangers that force me to read the next book. In fact, oftentimes, if I feel manipulated, I won’t read the next book for that reason alone. Again, it’s fortunate I have the next book so I can satisfy my curiosity.
In this book, Quinn is kidnapped and it’s pretty horrible. But it did make me laugh at one point when this wording was used to describe her reaction: “Tears rush to my eyes and invitations to my pity party go out.”
By the way, there were some editing errors in this book that were more significant than in the others—repeating sections that should have been deleted. Despite that, it’s a good book, but I deleted one star for carelessness.
Ronan Sinclair comes to the US from Russia. He kidnaps Quinn as leverage. He wants Daria to take down Andrei Turgenev and his men because Andrei has been running sex trafficking and other illegal operations using Ronan’s name. Ronan’s gut tells him that Andrei is trying to take over. Ronan has left Quinn with Andrei with instructions that she not be touched. And yes, Andrei is trying to take over and get rid of Ronan.
Viktor Limonov also comes over to the US from Russia. He and Ronan are rivals. Viktor thinks Ronan was involved in having Katya kidnapped and sold into the sex trafficking. He removes Reed from the FBI and sets him up undercover working for Andrei to get information.
Daria gets hurt while trying to get information on Andrei and where Quinn is being kept. Mack decides to quit the FBI to be with Daria.
Will Mack, Daria and her girls find Quinn before Viktor destroys Andrei and Ronan? Will Reed find out the information Viktor needs on who killed Katya? Will Quinn be hurt before she is saved?
Can’t wait to read how all the main characters end up.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. Quinn is the most adorable ridiculous character I've read, and I liked her until she gets upset at the others for not saving her from the predicament she put herself in. Ay yai yai! The parts of the story with Ronan in it were the most interesting for me. He's my favorite character in the series so far - the bad guy who's not so bad. My favorite quote: "No!" Reed stood, pointed a finger at David with one hand, and grabbed my hand with the other. "Mine."
This series is terrific and I look forward to each book that is released. Quinn was not a favorite of mine but she grew on me and I found myself rooting for her, even when she doesn’t make the brightest decisions. There is suspense and drama that makes you wonder what comes next and certainly keeps you turning the pages. Looking forward to the next installment.
I have said from the beginning that Quinn was a total airhead and just drove me crazy. I wanted to shake her, lol. But, her intentions were good and I feel like she was redeemed in Dirty Quinn. I loved this book, I love this series.
Loved this book!!! Took my time reading this one due to work constraints and also I was secretly challenging myself to notice the changes!!! But no spoilers!!! Great book!!! Anxiously awaiting the next one!!!
