*Note*
Even though the title is written in English, this is a Japanese edition (all text is in Japanese); I'm unsure if an English edition is available.
Instead of reading this edition front-to-back (or swiping left on a Kindle), you read back-to-front (swipe right).

Excellent, detailed instructions with clear black & white grid crochet patterns. The full-color photos of the finished projects were lovely, but the layout of the book was a little strange (I believe just due to space conservation in the layout?) - you'd have a color photo of several projects together (see cover photo for example), numbered in order, followed by black & white project patterns identified by the project number from the photo...but the patterns weren't necessarily in order. (Example: Photo of projects #10, #11, #12 was followed by project patterns #13, #17, #10, #11, #12.)

I would've preferred a color photo of a final project followed by it's pattern and perhaps some additional photos of the step-by-step instructions. To be fair, some of those were included for the more complex multi-step patterns, but they were extraordinarily helpful and more would've made this book even better.

Still, I was close to rating this book 5 stars anyway. The projects are unique and range from adorable to beautiful, the instructions are clear & concise, the patterns themselves are well-illustrated, and, if you have some previous knowledge with a hook, you likely don't even need to be able to read any Japanese because the photos & drawings are so well done.
