The book discusses cryptids in the Americas which includes Canada, the U.S., Mexico and South America. For each cryptid the author covers a variety of topics including: name, sketch, origin, description, the legend, sightings and possible explanations, the last being pretty much unique in books of this type and it's a definite plus.
There's a lot of cryptids that I never heard of before. They are also the usual ones like the Mothman, Bigfood and the Dogman.
Very well done book.
