Ella Cooper has written a 5-star book. This is part three of this series. To understand what is going on, you will need to have read the first two books in the series. Jim wakes up to Patricia's scream and goes to find out what is going on. She is in the kitchen and when he gets there he sees someone trying to break in. Luis is the person that is breaking in and he is there for Patricia. When Patricia stops Luis from going after Jim, he gets mad. Jim wants to know what is going on. Patricia starts to tell him and Luis starts to attack him. Jim ends up knocking him out and then hog-tied him. While Patricia is telling him what she had been through for the last five years, Luis comes to and is mad that he won't have a chance with her now. She tells him that she can make him disappear if he doesn't be quiet. Patricia and Jim continue to talk and Luis makes another comment. Jim is the one who tells him that if he doesn't be quiet, what will happen to him. Luis knows that he is on his own now and decides to shut his mouth. After Patricia tells him what happened, and what will happen now, he tells her to stay there while he takes Luis to the border. Jim tells Luis not to give him any trouble or he will not make it to the border. Patricia is worried the whole time Jim is gone. Patricia knows that now she can never go back home since she is no longer under the protection of Luis now that she won't marry him. When Jim gets back, she wants to know if Luis is still alive. Jim tells her that he is and knows not to ever come back to his land again.
What will happen between Patricia and Jim now?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

OMG... by far my FAVORITE of the three parts so far. Let me tell you, if you read part 1 and part 2 then you will NOT want to miss part 3. Jim and Patricia's characters are just both so intriguing, feeling as though you are hearing both sides through out the story line and not missing or misunderstand where the plot is going....Part 3 is HOT!!! Makes you feel like you are right there with them. It keeps you on your toes, you will want to keep reading. It also leaves you wanting more to see where the story line goes with the two characters.

I am team Jim and Patricia FOR SURE. Jim unsure about the reasons Patricia really wants to stay but unsure how Jim truly feels.. but the chemistry between them is AMAZING. Patricia is in a pickle and seems to have been thrown around, dealt a bad hand and not sure where she belongs . Jim having basically everything handed to him but loves what he does and works hard for the ranch. Both of them finally able to share their feelings and what really happened between them 5 years earlier.

We have already arrived at part three of this series, it is now going smoothly and we are slowly getting a better idea of ​​what is going on and who is behind all the events that happen to Patricia and Jim. Patricia is still with Jim as she is still recovering from her injuries and the fever. Despite everything going on, they have been able to do one thing and that is to say to each other what they should have said years ago and didn't. You will love the characters and the characters more and more and you hope that they are finally on their way to their happy ending together. But whether that will work we have to wait until the next part, then we will find out if they will succeed and now everything is over, but as we are used to, there will probably be unexpected twists and turns that we did not see coming.

The first thing a purchaser needs to know is that this book is actually only a part of a six-part book. You need to read the previous two parts and the future three parts to get the exposition, full action, and resolution of the story. So this is not a standalone. It’s fun to read this novel in bite-size parts! It’s a good story, too.
The story gets even better in this part. We learn about Patricia’s life for the past five years. There’s a lot of chemistry between her and Jim and their love story is building believably. The book is well-written without many mistakes. The story is engaging and it’s fun to read a serial novel. I’d like to read the future installments. Recommended. This has been a fantastic series by Ella Cooper 🤩 Jim and Patricia’s story keeps me on the edge of my seat!! There is so much suspense and danger. I love how Jim and Patricia have gotten to reconnect after so many years. There are a lot of unresolved issues and feelings, and they’ve finally gotten to say what they’ve wanted to say to each other, after all of this time!! Patricia is still staying with Jim while her injuries heal. However, some dangerous people are still closing in around the ranch, and Patricia and Jim are still in plenty of danger!!
I absolutely can’t wait for Part 4 🤗

Jim and Patricia's story is starting to heat up in part three of their story. Jim finds himself protecting Patricia and his home from someone trying to enter. Patricia is on the mend from her gunshot and subsequent infection she got when trying to head back over the border before Jim found her and brought her back. Now they are dealing with someone who believes Patricia was promised to him. Luis was there to take her back. Patricia wants nothing to do with Luis and tells him so. Once that problem is dealt wit, Patricia and Jim begin to talk about what has happened in the time she was gone. They also reveal to one another that before everything happened that caused her to leave both were on the verge of revealing their feeling they had for one another. Now they are admitting they want to be together and see where it leads. I can not wait to find out what happens next for Jim and Patricia.

Patricia screams and wakes Jim up and he runs to her aid. Someone is trying to break in and it’s Luis. He’s there to take Patricia back to Mexico. She says that she will never return and a fight breaks out. Luis gets tied up and he realizes that it’s over with Patricia. She tells him what has been going on in the past five years and Jim listens. They tell Luis that he’s going back to Mexico and Jim will escort him to the border and to never comeback! She worries as they are gone but Jim returned ad tells her he’s gone. Will they figure things out? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The intruder is a man named Luis who came from Mexico to get Patricia back claiming she is to marry him. Patricia tells Jim how she felt about him five years ago and that she doesn’t want to go back to Mexico.

Jim takes Luis back to the border. Luis is not happy and tells them both that the debt has not been paid and Patricia can never go back to Mexico.

Jim and Patricia talk about their feelings 5 years ago and their feelings now.

Will they end up staying together? If they don’t, where will Patricia go when she is better? If they do stay together, how is Jim’s family going to take it?

totally shocked

Patricia is still at Jims recouperating from getting shocked only to have a someone from Patricias past/present break in to try and take her back across the border.
Jim had another a few more ideas and he was given several choices.
What should have been said 5+ years ago was finally spoken between Patricia and Jim.
If that was said back then, a lot of heartache would not have been felt.
Once again, great characters.

This story is told in parts and leaves you on a cliffhanger, but you don’t have to wait for long to get the next one. It’s getting interesting to see how their feelings for each other are developing.

I loved how Jim and Patricia finally have a chance to tell each other what was running through their mind on that final night five years ago. I loved that Jim listened to how Patricia’s life evolved and everything that happened in the five years they were apart.

I can’t wait to see what else they have come up to complicate things for them and how they overcome those obstacles!

The story continues with one of the men coming from Mexico to get Patricia to return home, but all was not well on that front. It was not a man Patricia had any intention of ever going with as the end price would be to high for her to pay. Her refusal to return with him has left her with a big problem. She can no longer return to Mexico now. Her and Jim has a lot of talking to do of where they are going from here. The excitement just keeps growing.

This story keeps evolving at a quick pace. We have Jim and Patricia discussing the past and coming to terms with how they felt in the past and were they want to go with them now. Patricia has to make a choice pay Paublo's debt and marry Louis or stay with Jim and never go over the border again. But what will she choose and how will her past actions effect the future. So many unanswered questions. What will happen next. This is a great story so many interesting turns keeps you guessing. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Thank you Ella Cooper for allowing me to read this book - Part 3 of Tracks to My Heart.
Jim and Patricia’s love story has started to unfold in the last chapters of this book and I look forward to reading the next book to continue their story.

What will Patricia do now? Will she go back across the border? Will she and Jim make a life together?What happens next?
I guess we will just need to read on to find out the answers. Go on I know you want the answers too!

This is part three of this continuous series. Jim and Patricia bring true meaning to the word, complicated. Some decisions will but lives on the line. This is part three of this series and this one has a lot of answers and a few more questions!
Patricia is still with Jim recuperating from her injuries and something is happening at the ranch putting them both in danger. Those things do get resolved and so do several things between Jim & Patricia. They are finally able to say the things they should have said years ago, but where does that leave them?

I loved this instalment. The characters are developing more and more depth. Their pasts becoming more clear.
Patricia’s strength is moving swiftly to the forefront. The struggles she has waged and won.
Jim alpha protective nature is heartwarming and completely addictive.
With each instalment their lives, past and present, become clearer. Your heart becomes involved as these beautiful characters evolve and grow.

Luis goes through Jim window at night and find he not the own one in the room. As a scream goes through the night. Jim put Patrica’s behind him to protect her. Luis is there to get her as she belong to him and he there to take her home. But Jim see it different and next Luis finds him tie up. Question will be answered and chose will be made that will last a life time. Read and see.

Ella Cooper brings her characters to life with her words. Part Three of Claiming Tracks to my Heart brings out the longings of Jim and Patricia. Patricia has an unexpected rescuer. His appearance forces Patricia to open up to Jim about her life during the past five years.

SO enjoying this series...
The story itself has been covered in previous reviews so I will just tell you that this great jouney gets to the lovers bit & wowza it was good! Glad the hero could persuade the intruder to go back across the border & what the repercussions would be if he returned. Looks like the lovers might get their hea or has Ella got another plan. Patricia reveals how her life has been on the other side of the border. After Luis's appearance, there is no way of her going back to Mexico. Now she depends on Jim, and she doesn’t like depending on anyone.
I’m looking forward to reading the next installment to see how she copes with depending on someone and what Jim will do to protect her. Three stars and a half.

The Wild Side Part 3

Part 3 starts out with someone coming through Jim's window at night and finding out it was someone coming to get Patricia and not a good person. Decisions have to be made with some not so good. But this also brings up a conversation that should have been done 5 years ago. What happens from here?

We learn of the life that Patricia endured in Mexico and now that she can't return will her family be safe there.
Can they get what they really want?
