The name’s Corvin Chance, and though I was born with magical abilities, I’d rather be playing my guitar in one of my local pubs than running around flashing my magic.
Until someone murdered my mother that is.
Now I’m slinging magic around the streets of Dublin as I try to find out who killed her. A gangster elf who crowned himself the king of the south is my main suspect. But besides being powerful and sociopathic, the elf is also part of a murderous cabal that includes a bloodthirsty vampire prince. I'm good, but not that good.
Luckily, I have my two best friends: Dalia, a sardonic Demi-Fae who could scare the bejeezus out of Lucifer himself; and Monty, a wise-cracking street magician and YouTube star with a gift for cybermancy and conjuring.
Together we will enter a dangerous Dublin underbelly populated by dark elves, vampires, goblins, and orcs to discover just who killed my mother and why… if we don’t die ourselves first, that is.
Join me and my oddball motley crew as we attempt to solve a murder, exact justice and just maybe… get a pint of the black stuff afterwards.
From the author of the bestselling Ethan Drake series comes this gripping action adventure series that has everything you want in an URBAN FANTASY.
***ATTENTION: This book was originally published under a different title (Serpent Son), and is therefore not a new book of mine. The book has been rebranded and re-edited with a different title. If you have already read the Corvin Chance series, you DO NOT need to buy this new version... unless you want to. ***
I’m N.P. Martin and I’m a lover of dark fantasy and horror. Writing stories about magick, the occult, monsters and kickass characters has always been my idea of a dream job, and these days, I get to live that dream. I have tried many things in my life (professional martial arts instructor, bouncer, plasterer, salesman…to name a few), but only the writing hat seems to fit. When I’m not writing, I’m spending time with my wife and daughters at our home in Northern Ireland.
Loved the book. Great characters and story, with the perk of being set in Dublin (I live not far from there). Definitely a favourite of mine among the series of Martin.
Absolutely loved this book!! You begin the adventures in Ireland with a fight between a witch and a troll....and it doesn't stop from there. Wonderful characters, an interesting journey with enemies and friends, New and old and non-stop search for justice. NPM is being added to my author shelf...and this series will be added to my watch list!!
