Our heroine and her friends finally reached their destination, but it is not what they were told to expect. To say they are a little frustrated would be an understatement. But they are not giving up. Not by a long shot.
This is book five of a series. It does okay as a standalone, but you will be missing quite a bit of background. This book covers the basics early on, but only that.
This is a zombie apocalypse story with a young protagonist. The story is well written and easy to read with a well developed cast of characters. Besides our heroine, there is a solid cast of friends that support her in her quest and we get to know them all pretty well. The story moves at a fast pace, which is necessary for us to keep ahead of the zombies. Overall, it was another fun read with plenty of action and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Another wonderfully crafted installment in this series. The feeling at the start of the book was changed up and I felt that perhaps the apocalypse grind is starting (and is also interesting to compare to the start of book 1). But after being lulled into a false sense of security, the surprises, revelations and adrenaline start reaching a crescendo towards the end. And through it all the characters (including the Tiger King) continue their journey with their all their strengths and flaws (and fateful decisions).

Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.

Wow, what a series this is. This one starts off slow and steady and ramps up and up until it’s moving along at a fantastic breakneck pace until an ending I didn’t see coming. There has to be another one at least surely. Highly recommended.

A really good continuation of this series! More of the same, conspiracies & hardships for the characters, a good exciting story! I will look forward to treading the next one! If you like YA apocalyptic adventures! This is for you!

Just when you think things may finally be turning around...this book happens! As usual a must read, story draws you in and you just have to find out what happens!

Another outstanding world ending story that will keep you intrigued. How will all of this end, will everyone survive. Twists and turns all the way to the end. Loved it.

While the Project hildren are being nursed bak to ealth thethree uninfected mmbers of the group are set to work inside the underground comlex while those with the combo-cure are working outside, but within the high fences, on the Farm...
Dessa suspects it's just a matter of time - and of course she is proved ccorrect.
