This book was spicy and the chemistry between the main characters was electric! I was hooked from the first page, but I felt the romance was lacking a bit. These two were amazing characters and I can’t wait to read more of Tori’s work!

Have a spare set of undies ‘cause this is a raunchy read! (The office desk scene was incendiary!) It took a little while for me to like Grace. I thought she was callous with her indifference to the news of the death of her informant. It is only far later in the story do we see how the death affected Grace. I loved her relationship with her brother. While the chemistry between Grace and Carson was undeniable, I found the romance a bit lacking. There didn’t seem to be much interaction between them except sexual. Neither were willing to open up to each other other than superficially. There was an interesting climatic point in the story that I wasn’t sure how it would resolve. But of course it does since it is a romance story.
This is my first book by this author and I am interested to read more.

This book was not for me! I was actually embarrassed for heroine. She was so desperate for hero to f*ck her that even after he humiliated her a few times by showing her how he can do whatever he wants (he made her hot and on the edge of an orgasm and then left her hanging then he was amused by it and made fun of her) she still went back. Worse!! After him having fun at how desperate she was, she was still wearing short skirts and see through shirts to provoke him to have sex with her! How pathetic can you be???! On top of that hero was left by his fiance six months before and was still hurting. The MCs romance started at the very beginning of the book but hero was pining after his ex for most of it. At about 65% after months of having sex with heroine it's mentioned how lying in bed at noghts he still pulls out the engagement ring his ex gave him back and is wondering what he did wrong and what more could he made for her to stay. So the whole relationship with the h felt more like a band aid for his broken heart and not something more. I didn't feel like the h was special to him and he loved her more then his ex or even the same.

I am going to go ahead and warn you that this is one smoking hot little read that just might melt your kindle out of your very hands. Grace took a chance at improving herself and let me tell you right here that Grace needed to be knocked down a peg or two on her little ladder. She was callous and when someone dies she just doesn't even really care and I was left to wonder if this girl even had a soul . However the chance she took at writing something different gets her fired and she has to go back to her brother with her tail between her legs and he finds her ra new job. A job with a man who was her one night stand the previous week and he is surprised to figure out that Grace is in fact his best friends little sister. Carson is a smoking hot best friend that I would have trouble staying away from if he was my brother's best friend. He is just everything and he and Grace have this banter about them that drives each other crazy. However, Grace is keeping huge secrets and those secrets just might cost Carson everything. You have to read to find out. It was a really great best friends brother romance that I really loved reading.

Grace is an investigative journalist who uncoveres a big political scandal that could get her blacklisted or worse. After being fired for what she's uncovered, she decides to take a break from her story and begs her brother for a job at his law firm. Grace then meets and falls for her bothers best friend, Carson.

This was a cute contemporary romance that gave exactly what you'd expect it to. There was a little excitement, some sexy scenes, some conflict, resolution, and a happily ever after.
The dialog and banter were fun and witty, and most of the characters were pretty likable. I felt like the sexy scenes that weren't fade to black were a bit short, but there were also some repetitive words/descriptions used in the scenes we were given..
The ending was a pretty typical "happily ever after," but was WAY too sweet and kind of ridiculous. While the ending wasn't my personal favorite, it did feel like an ending that didn't leave you with a ton of irritating, unanswered questions.

Grace has a One-night stand that she will never forget. The problem is he is her new boss. He pretends he hasn't ever met her before and the chemistry is off the charts hot and it is building until it snaps and these two come together again. Is this a second chance at another one-night stand? Do these two have any chance with Carson being Grace's brother's best friend and boss? One-click this one to see how it ends! It is a fun and amazing read that hooks you from the start and keeps you hooked until the end.

Sooooo good. Oh my gosh I was completely hooked from the first page. Carson's fiancee leaves him? Very intriguing start for him.
Grace is an investigative journalist. She stumbled upon a huge story likely to get her killed. She runs to her brother's house to get out of the city.
One night stand? No problem except when she walks in to be his new assistant! Oh my...
It's so hot how Carson plays the dominant. It's intense from the beginning and the ending doesn't disappoint. This is novel you can read over and over again!

This book has got it all, angst, spice, and laugh out loud moments, I loved it all. Carson and Grace have great chemistry from the beginning and I really enjoyed their relationship growth. This was the perfect quick read that definitely holds your interest.

This is the first book from this author I’ve read and what a great story. This story has it all, captivating, intriguing, sexy. I loved all the characters but Grace and Carson are fabulous, their chemistry, banter and sexiness is scorching. I can’t wait to read more from Tori.

Grace is in a bind and reaches out too her brother from some help, and a job. He pairs her up with his best friend and colleague, Carson. It just so happens when she walks in for work the first day, they know each other from a random wild one night stand.

Grace is completely off-limits to Carson, but he can’t help himself. Not only does she work for him but she is his best friends little sister and has gone through hell and back. They both have their downfalls and reservations but when they connect it is explosive.

I was just absolutely obsessed with everything about this book and these two’s story. I couldn’t put it down and still want more of Carson. Basically, do yourself a favor and put this right on the top of your TBR, you won’t regret It!
