I read this on the recommendation of a friend who is also an instructional coach on my campus, and it was fantastic. It has become more of a how-to guide for me than a book I read last year. There is a LOT of talk thrown around about SEL in schools and most of it is as misunderstood as it is watered down. This book offers explicit guidance on implementing and maintaining sustainable practices in the classroom and beyond. I've read it three times and lead PD on it since reading it in March. That is the best review I can offer.
