I approach life with as much positivity as I can—celebrating the hits and laughing at the misses. Nothing worthwhile is easy, and that includes everything in my life. But I have much to smile about—my lovely mother, a beautiful daughter, two precious granddaughters, my adorable dogs, and my sweet husband of over thirty years. He has always supported me—including uprooting to move to the other side of Charlotte, N.C. for a life change, just when we thought we were settled.

I love to express myself to the point that my daughter avoids going to the movies with me because I’m that woman in the row in front of you who gleefully munches her popcorn and laughs at every hilarious scene. Loudly. Besides my family, I love chocolate, popcorn, laughter, and animals. I love animals so much that I frequently sprinkle them in my stories as secondary characters. They usually steal the show! British and American history have always interested me, so writing historical romances set in the U.K. and the US is where my passion is.
When I was barely three years old, my parents divorced, and my mom moved my sister and me from New York to South Carolina to live near her parents. Juggling a full-time job and full-time school, my mother became my first genuine hero—she never waved the white flag when things were tough. And things quickly got tough. My grandmother, who helped care for my sister and me while my mother worked, became ill with cancer, and didn’t survive the surgery, dying before I was seven. Losing Grandma devastated me. She read to me and taught me to read before I started first grade. I credit her for inspiring my love of reading, and I credit my mother for encouraging me to turn my ideas into stories.
When I was ten, my neighbor gave me her book club copy of Margaret Mitchell’s Gone with the Wind and it remains one of my favorite books. But it was Kathleen Woodiwiss’ Shanna and Ashes in the Wind, that hooked me on historical romance and sparked my dream of becoming a published author.
While I primarily write Regency Romance, I enjoy almost any period in American and British history.

#1 Earl of Baxter
I have heard that our lives are like circles, intersecting with other people's lives along the arcs.
This tale is about two damaged souls, whole meet when he lay fever drenched and near death. Her touch and gentle attention, followed by a vicious put down by someone that was supposed to show compassion not violence, was enough to pull his mind from the path of the here after, to that of this world and a girl that needed protection.
Now, six years later, he believes he has finally found her, but things have changed. Can he still assist her?
#2 Earl of Tempest
Something had happened the day he had talked to her brother's concerning her hand in marriage. That day, he pulled away, and didn't want anything further to do with her.
Now, four months later, they have been thrown together through the orphanage shevis trying to fund, and as Lord Baxter had made it a provision of the funding he was seeking, he had little choice but to go along with the arrangements.
Fate and the Wicked Lords had cast their lots together.
#3 Earl of Kendal
She wanted to live for the two siblings and mother that died too soon. However, her father's abuse of alcohol and gambling caused a problem that he could only solve by exchanging her hand for his gambling debts.
So, refusing to be married off,she takes off, with a plan in mind. Her father, realised his folly, and sent the one person that could bring her back.
#4 Earl of Darling
He became an Earl after those in the line ahead of him died, which isn't unusual, except he had been 6th in line originally. Of course, the Ton had a field day as far as gossip went.
She, on the other hand, had done nothing more than try to aid a cat caught up in a tree, and a scoundrel took advantage of her status and her family's adversity to public ridicule.
Luckily, they found a solution together for each of their problems.

What does a lady do when a gentleman invades her carriage whilst she was waiting for her sister-in-law to finalise her purchases
Start a grand adventure, that is, start fulfilling her list of wild adventures she feels she wants to try, but feels she will never have a chance to do.

He came back once he had been notified of his brother's death. He had wanted to clear his name, so he sort all those that had known his brother prior to his ending up on that fatal voyage. However, some mysteries are very difficult to resolve.

Loosing a building in a card game, it all sounds a bit bizarre, but that's what happens when gambling takes over ones life.
The only problem is, what happens when the building is inhabited by an orphanage?

He followed in his father's and grandfather's footsteps of being a rascal, getting those around in to mischief and mayhem.
She had the unfortunate pleasure of being a girl that her parents had grand plans for.
Then, on finding her prospective groom in a compromising situation with her best friend, mere moments before she was to say her vows, she did the only thing she could, she ran to the soul that she had loved for a very long time.

His best friend had died at the hands of French spies, and he vowed vengeance.
However, she was caught in the middle of their spy games, an innocent caught in the cross-hairs, and he had to save her.

Through no fault of his own, he found he needed an heiress with a substantial dowry. So off to London he went.
He noticed her across the iced pond used for skating, and his heart was lost. Luckily, fate had the reins of this runaway horse. Otherwise, there may have been two lovestruck individuals with unrequited desires.

She wanted to correct an error she perceived, which was causing her family financial hardship.
However, it was not what either of them imagined, and in helping her out, it ended up beneficial to them both.

Earl of Baxter
I enjoyed Mason and Clarrisa’s story. He’s an illegitimate son despised by his father. She’s a young woman with a past. Will he still love her when he discovers her secret? Really liked this book. There is a scene of passion after the wedding.
Earl of Tempest - Annabelle Anders
I enjoyed reading the Earl of Tempest. I think it is essential to read it after the book “Ruined.” The characters weave in and out of both stories, and without the storyline of “Ruined,” I think the reader will feel lost. This book is a quick read and very entertaining.
Earl of Kendal - Madeline Martin
The Earl of Kendal is book 24 in the Wicked Earl’s Club stories. Although this is in the world of the Wicked Earl’s Club, it is not necessary to read these in order. I enjoyed the characters in this book. Adolphus Merrick, the Earl of Kendal, is stuffy and pompous, but underneath, there dwells a dangerous, alluring hero. Lady Sophia Stopford finds herself in the unfortunate situation of being forced to marry a horrible cad. What can she do to get herself out of the awful mess in which her gambling father has placed her? Read and find out. I thought the story’s pace was good, and there were enough unexpected twists and turns to keep it moving and interesting. There are several steamy scenes. I am looking forward to more from this author.
Earl of Keyworth - Collette Cameron
The Earl of Keyworth is book twelve in Cameron’s Seductive Scoundrels series and book thirty-two in The Wicked Earls Club. I enjoyed this book. It is a short novella and perfect for an afternoon read. Landry Audsley, the Earl of Keyworth is a swoon-worthy character. I loved the description of his eyes. “His finest features, though, were his endless eyes. In short, they were beautiful. Stunningly so. Gray ringed with midnight blue and shards of silvery-blue fringed by thick, sooty lashes- she felt as if she were sinking each time she gazed into them.” Ah! I love the thought of sinking into someone’s eyes. A great romance!

phenomenal!
This series of books were delightful to read, each one different in it’s own right, but all tied to The Wicked Earl’s Club. Some were rather spicy, some very sweet all very good! Worth every minute!

I enjoyed all the books in this group and who wouldn't enjoy all these handsome, sexy earls in one together in one set? A swoonworthy read to keep you entertained late into the night - enjoy!

Some better than others
Good sample of writers, some stories excellent but some others not to my liking. Lauren Smith is definitely my favorite.

I really liked this book.

This group of stories involved all the emotions: sadness, intrigue, life threatening events, love, and loss. Worthy of adding to your collection
