Wheeler is a single dad; his daughter is at camp for two weeks. He needs to let loose and has a one-night stand. The one-night stand turns out to be the author visiting town he is supposed to show around the ranch and ranch life. They now can't to keep their hand off each other. Wheeler's daughter comes home from camp early because she's sick. Can they now continue their romance?

This is a fun story about a rom-com author named Lena who is going to visit the Wilde Ranch to do research for her next book. Unbeknownst to her, she just had a fling with the rancher she's supposed to meet the following day. How they meet again had me in stitches, but thank goodness Wheeler Wilde came to her rescue!
The secondary characters are great. Between the meddling Quylt sisters, Lena's sister and Wheeler's brothers, there's plenty of fodder for many more books in the series.
Wheeler's mom was warm and inviting and his young daughter was just delightful. And the sparks between Wheeler and Lena were hot! But the best part of the book was the fabulous ending. Way to go, ladies!

I totally forgot to post this on Friday when I finished it. But I finished the second book in this Rocky Ridge Creek series. This one is about one of the Wilde brothers named Wheeler. He is a single dad and doesn't want a serious relationship after the heartbreak he has endured. And Lena Thrope is a Romance author who has come to the small town to learn about ranch life for her new book. Lena ends up having a one night stand with a handsome cowboy the night before she is planning on going on tour on the ranch. She is staying g In the Qyilt sisters B&B and when she wakes up after the best sex of her life, she realizes she is still with the cowboy. So she sneaks out of the room realizing the room is hers. As she is sneaking out the cowboy wakes up and suggests breakfast. She said says she can't because this was just sex. So theb he says well, how about some more of that and a shower. She says not thanks again amd leaves. She ends up in her sister's room telling her sister about the cowboy. While the cowboy is in her room showering. He leaves and heads downstairs where he is talked into breakfast. And then is about to leave when he remembers he has to do the ranch tour today for this romance author. Which he is not excited about. Eventually Lena comes down with her sister amd finds out the hot cowboy she had a one night stand with last night is also her ranch tour guide. They are immediately drawn to each other but she tries to keep it casual...which is not working. She wants tk rail him again. They ended up getting a little spicy on one of the B&B owners desks but is interrupted. Now they are heading out to the ranch for a tour. She actually really enjoys the tour and the Wilde family. And her and Wheeler make a deal about their fun times. That it's just sex and nothing more. They make boundaries and it will end in a few weeks when she leaves to go back home. And he agrees just because he wants more of her in his life. Then feelings start to change. But Wheeler's daughter ends up coming home from her trip early and Lenr respects the boundary he set about his daughter not being around her since she isn't staying. But he wants her to meet her and be there with the both of them. He just never tells her. So she leaves back the her room. When he later surprises her with a camping trip with his daughter.
Again it was a short read and very predictable but I enjoyed it for what it is. If you want a quick read and a cowboy romance, this series is for you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars.

Broken Cowboy is about Wheeler Wilde and Lena Thorpe (a romance writer). Wheeler was married once upon a time but his wife died giving birth to his daughter. Well, he thought it was his daughter but when she was born, she needed medical aid and Wheeler wasn't a match. That's when he found out that his wife had an affair and the girl wasn't his. The man wasn't interested in becoming a dad and Wheeler is raising Libby as if she was born from his DNA. But, he hasn't really gotten over his wife's indiscretions. Lena Thorpe is a romance writer who has her own demons to overcome. Her mom bounced from boyfriend to boyfriend and her and her sister lived in fear that something would happen to them. Lena raised her sister since her mom wasn't able to or interested in doing so most days. But there's is a great read of overcoming obstacles.

I love this mother/daughter writing duo Lily-Mae Montana. Their stories are fun, humorous, sticky sweet, smoking hot and sizzling sexy but there is also a little sadness at times.
Lily-Mae have found the secret formula that makes great stories great. I am glad that the first three books of The Wilde Brothers of Whiskey Ridge Creek are HOT.
I love the little town where everyone knows everything about everyone. There are quirky characters and a little magic involved. But I will let you get acquainted with everyone all on your lonesome.
The Wilde brothers are some sexy, sexy cowboys.
You are going to love them all.

This is a fun romance between a romance author and a cowboy. Lena might write romance stories but she doesn't believe in love after being deceived by her late husband. Wheeler is a single dad cowboy but his wife wasn't who he thought she was and he has no plans to ever fall in love again. Enter the Quylt sisters and their quilting circle and before you know it they are crafting a love quilt for another of the Wilde brothers. I can't wait to see who they make the next quilt for.

Man if you love cowboys this series is for you! Wheeler and Lena met when she came to get out of her writing funk to write about ranches and cowboys. She ends up having a one night stand her first night in town, something she never thought she would do. Then showing up at the ranch the next day she discovers Wheeler is the cowboy she's learning about ranch life from. Wheeler and his young daughter find they want nothing more then for the romance writer to stay in their lives forever.

"Broken Cowboy" (Whiskey Ridge Creek Book 2) by Lily-Mae Montana was a terrific read. I loved Wheeler and Lena's story. This story had romance, passion, hot cowboys, family, single dad romance, small-town life, and more. This was a great addition to this series. I'm anxious to see what happens next in this series. Highly recommend it to all fans of romance, cowboys, family, and series.

Such a good book! I loved Wheeler and his sexy way. A one night stand turns into so much more. Lena was just trying to do research for her book but she got way more then that. I love these Wilder boys. I can't wait to read more!

The book was an easy, fast read. The hero and heroine were well developed and the warmth of the large family get togethers was great. If you want the plot, you'll need to read the book.
