Desolation by Peter Mulraney If you enjoy a good crime story set in the country, with a twist at the end, then Desolation is for you. It is the story of teenage love and lust. It is set in and around Burra in South Australia’s mid-North. A sudden downpour of rain reveals the bodies of two teenagers murdered 30 years before. Detective Sergeant Pat Travers and Detective Constable Lina Palumbo investigate, not expecting many results after so many years. The author takes the reader on a thrilling ride through country roads, small towns, and bizarre and ordinary characters with secrets that Pat and Lina try to discover.
