Miles Hooper - Temporary Sanity

Temporary Sanity is the second book I have read from author Miles Hooper. The first being Dead Friends, (check this out if secluded cabin, psychological horror is your bag).

Miles Hoopers latest offering is much more lighthearted, 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙮 (𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙠) 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 2010’𝙨 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙭, 𝘼𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙤𝙣𝙖. 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙬𝙠𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

Miles stories ooze originality, my favourite’s being:

Death & Scotch (post inspiration)
Mr Jingles
Teach Time To Fly
And Temporary Sanity.

I finished this collection in one sitting, it’s a perfect readers-palet cleanser if you’re feeling a little ‘spooky seasoned’ out.

The author is clearly passionate about music as well as writing as each of his books include a playlist of tracks that have featured in the stories.
Temporary Sanity even includes a fancy QR code you can scan that takes you directly to its very own playlist - cool right?!
