The Terran Confederacy of Aligned Systems has come to the defense of the Unified Civilized Species Council, moving an astounding weight of metal and troops into UCC space. With the Unified Military Council unable to withstand the Precursor Autonomous War Machines more and more local species and local system leaders are calling for assistance from the Terran Confederacy.
In the Telkan System, successfully defended against the Precursor Autonomous War Machines only a year before, a new threat is unveiled as the Unified Council reveals the instruments that carry out their million year long plans. A plot against the Mantid diplomat Dreams of Something More carries forth. Finally, the cost of the war begins to come home to many.

Uneven In Execution and Woefully Negligent In Lack of Proofreading
A very mixed bag of vignettes strung together to create the greater story arc. Some very good, others mediocre at best, with the remainder poor. Coupled with the absence of competent proofreading that is spastic, overall a disappointment of a read.

Still needs proofreading
But a damn entertaining story.
This one spends more time following a few key characters, though there are still plenty of other storylines covered.

This is almost more a collection of short stories,
And it works! The way all of it tells a story is just perfect. There are moments to tweak every emotion. This whole series personified pure madness and it just works.

I read the entire serial as it was posted on Reddit, bought all the books. Looking forward to the 12 year long Netflix/Amazon/Apple series when they pick it up.

Just gets better and better
This series just gets better and better as it goes. If you enjoy star wars , Warhammer 40k , star ship troopers , star trek , ember wars , the Frontline series, or just About any good military sci Fi ,you'll love this series!

This books is a wonderful continuation of the series. I really enjoyed the play off between the Telkans and their little green buddies.

Really good story.
A very interesting and captivating story. I cannot wait to read the next book. The next book seems to be very compelling by the preview.
