Enthralling

Another great segment to D's life. Read it in 1 sitting. Definitely have my suspicions about the baby.... Can't wait for the next book. Don't keep us waiting long. Till then Ill check out another of your books.
The characters are well formed but would like to see Andy in his more comfortable setting as the narcissistic psycho.

Fuck, and I can't say this with more hurt or anger, you.

Really Sea, my girl D FINALLY is happy, she even says it! She's happy! She felt bliss, it's why she picked that name😭😭 I did 4 star, because I want to sue for emotional damage.

First Tickles then Ace.

Fix this 😭😭

Each one of these books end in a WTF moment in my opinion and an amazing cliffhanger that makes me SO HAPPY that I get to read them all in order from start to finish. These books and this storyline is consuming my life, I can't breathe until I know how all this ends....

Seven books deep and I’m starting to feel the strain, but I need to see how it ends 😵‍💫. It’s not that I dislike the series—it’s just that the plot keeps looping like a horror carousel. Deicide escapes home ➡️ joins cult ➡️ escapes cult ➡️ back home ➡️ repeat. And the baby drama? How many times can one woman lose a child before it starts to feel like déjà vu with extra trauma?

Also… can we talk about the diet? Her family thrives on eating human flesh, which—last I checked—isn’t exactly sustainable. Biology says no, but fiction says feast.

⚠️ Spoilers Ahead

⚠️ Spoilers Ahead

In this installment, Deicide is pregnant again (yes, again). She and Ace, plus her brothers, are leading the cult until things go sideways. They blow up the compound (as one does), she’s injured during the escape, and wakes up having given birth.

But here’s the kicker: the “newborn” baby is laughing and holding its head up. Clearly not a newborn. Turns out they’re hiding the truth: her twins didn’t survive the birth 💔.
Deicide, girl… that baby is not yours. Use your common sense!

At least the baby doesn’t die in this one but someone else close to Deicide does

Still intrigued enough to keep going, but hoping Book 8 breaks the cycle. 🤞

Noooooooo not Ace 😭 I was hoping for a happy ending with Deicide and her new family after leaving the faction, but there’s always something happening to royally f*** it up. This girl’s life is a total rollercoaster and I’m living for each book in this series. Messed up, twisted, gross… but still come back for more 😅

Proper mid-story vehicle to move things along. Can definitely see the foreshadowing here. Eventually, Deicide will fulfill her namesake, and it's very evident now.

Good series

So far I have been really enjoying this series. This book was good and followed on with lots of twists. And an added character. There was some gory bloody scenes but I only have it 4 stars as I felt that the there was something missing. The other books in this series told a story on their own and was full of blood and some nasty brutal violence. Although this has some it wasn't quite the same. Diecide Ace and the rest finally leave the compound but there is more going on behind the scenes with pops and his new friend? Stacy. Alec also goes with them and then things change again at pops. But something doesn't add up? Something isn't making sense. They go through an ordeal an 1 doesn't survive. I won't say who as it spoils the story for you. But due to this, things come to light but Diecide isn't thinking straight. Will she come round and put the pieces together? Who is truly involved in the ordeal? Your gonna have to read it to find out. Still a great read and brilliant series. So I'd definitely recommend.

Really hate Deicide! She’s just annoying, dumb, immature and a really non appreciative person! And this book is just so silly! Like how does Ace get use to that lifestyle so quickly without being revolted?! Doesn’t make sense!

Holy MAN. If my family and friends and co workers looked into most of the stuff I read… I think they’d be deeply disturbed… probably worried about me. Lol

I wish deicide would just concede and realize that everything pops does for her is calculated, practical, and in her best interest. Not unlike the rest of us acted as teenagers and well into our 20’s with our own parents, we think we know everything and have to make mistakes for ourselves…. (Only ours don’t involve cannibalism, torture, murder, and incest). I hope we grow to see her change her mind and realize that everything he’s done for her has been to shape her into the careful, thoughtful, tender yet totally fucked-up weirdo she is today. 😆

D is blinded by young adult angst, wreckless, careless, it frustrates me. What pops is generally forced to navigate between D and Alec. I already felt pops has been justified in his actions, and acted much more as a father than he has a brother. I just wish she could drop the stubborn rebel act and see the forest beyond the trees before it’s too late to do something about it. I had an ominous feeling about pops from the start… but I guess I prepared for the wrong character death.

I wish D would stop seeking out Alec for counsel. He’s an absolute idiot. Also, can we just let the man (pops)have this one nice thing? That’s how I felt initially, but we can’t trust her. She’s got to have some sort of motive… like that Deicide stole Stacy’s spot at the throne next to Lip, and now she’s brewed up a revenge scheme that is slow, methodical, and calculating….

D probably has to be the most naive character I’ve ever met… I should think most of what she is surprised by is usually quite obvious… then again, I am told I am intuitive, which is not the case for everyone. So perhaps, she is ignorant to all the foreshadowing.

I’m surprised at Ace’s character shift with all the blood and guts stuff. Remembering how squeamish he was about the toe getting cut off of the druggy who robbed him because it upset him to see the man suffering, it feels sorta crazy to me that he could turn into someone who is sexually aroused watching his partner kill an innocent woman he knows nothing about and getting a blowie while her blood coats both of them. I’ll say this though, as strange and fucked up as this sounds, I do like the new Ace. Didn’t know ya had it in ya little buddy...

I keep thinking, there’s no way this story can get more fucked up…. And then Sea Caummisar is like “hold my beer”. Book 7 has EASILY been my favorite so far. Well….it might be a tie for books 1 and 2.

Great continuation...

...and cliff hanger. Please don't make us wait so long for the next one! Deicide receives a surprise revelation from Pops about her pregnancy but, that revelation may also prove to be dangerous to her and her child. She is beginning to question everything she thought she knew about Pops and his loyalty to her, and the loyalty of the members as well. Pops tells her that they need to leave immediately, for their own safety, which confused Deicide, as the members answer to her and they are excited about the birth of her child, which is the reincarnation of Lip. Why isn't she safe if she's so adored and the birth is so exalted?

There are new people introduced and many unanswered questions left to us after reading this book (the following may contain spoilers).

In this segment, we are introduced to Pops' girlfriend, Stacey.
Is Deicide right to trust her? What REALLY happened with the kidnapping plot? And why was Stacey sorry? What did Alec mean during that last phone call with Pops, before Pops cut him off from finishing that thought? What happened two the baby boy? Why was the baby girl so big when it was "born"? Is the baby girls size the result of her mother's diet, or is there a more sinister reason? Is Pops REALLY looking out for Deicide and Bliss or is Deicide right about has motives?
Will we get those answers?

Besides this new list of unanswered questions that just opened up in this segment, a new generation has just begun. We simply must find out how Deicide gets her revenge on Alec! Will she torture him? Eat him? Will she even find him?

She's pregnant AGAIN!
I'm so exhausted by her constant back and forth in her head. I feel as if it could be shown better if she is conflicted. Again, it feels lazy and repetitive. Just like how all of her thoughts feel. I'm also sick of her having the brain power of a 6 year old. Her not being able to decode her dad's note, not being able to tell if he's working with them or not and her blind hate for her father. He definitely deserves some hate but not for the things she's feeling in this book.

Once AGAIN they kill her babies. I'm so tired of this. It is so so so repetitive and doesn't do anything for the story in my opinion because it has happened so many times and so quickly.
Also, she is so stupid sometimes. For being such a paranoid and angry person, she really doesn't push and ask more questions as to why they're being so weird? I hate the obviousness of the baby not being hers. I wish it would've been something that the reader uncovers. It would've added another layer to the book and made it feel more put together.
I loved Ace and Deicides relationship in this book and the engagement. But then again it's instantly taken away from us. At least this time we had more time with Ace overall and the ability to bond to him so I was actually shocked and upset when he died. I wish we would've had a little more time with them being engaged because it could've been VERY upsetting when he died.
It feels as if this book almost had good writing but then it just doesn't quite get there

So I feel like Pops can never just mind his own business. Pops knows what's best. Nope. No thanks. So with that being said of course he goes behind Deicide and Aces back when trying to start rumors about their baby, bc of course its twins and of course the girl baby can't be lip reincarnated. My assumption is Deicide fell when trying to escape quickly when Pops rigged the meth lab to blow and she lost both the twins and one of them stole someone's baby to replace them so Deicide wouldn't have lost a baby for the 4th time. Probably couldn't find 2 babies or want to risk kidnapping 2. Guessing this bc of the comments about Bliss eyes that match neither of theirs and the details of the baby being hip size. So deff not a new born. I feel like Stacy is behind the break in that got Ace killed. Chris was calling Stacy baby not talking about the baby ? Ifk just a gut feeling and Deicide was too spaced out to fully realize what was being said and happening. New life mission.... hunt down Alec and kill him.
Also if Deicide and Ace got married and bought a house etc it would be a wrap. Happily ever after. There's 3 more books.... the nonsense obviously has to continue in some shape or form.

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED.

I'm not gonna talk about the ending, because I'm FURIOUS about that.

I get that using only one POV + thoughts of the MC to write a book can be tricky to convey some vital information, but it was poorly executed

But the entire book, I couldn't help but be very, very fed up with Deicide.
I don't know what happened in this book, but she was insufferable, her thoughts were absolute bullshit, concentrating on such shitty matters, and she was soooo whiny, ho my Io, I ended up wishing harm upon her.
She's so wrapped up around herself, she's incapable of judgement about what's good and what isn't for her.

I was absolutely correct on my previous review :  she does not deserve Ace. Never has, and I'm soooooo mad.

Not Ace!

There were so many moving parts to this portion of the story. I do not think Bliss is the child of Ace and Deicide. The baby was too advanced and healthy to be a newborn. I want to know the secret that everyone is keeping from Deicide. I agree that she should not be trusting of Stacy based on some things Chris said when he was captured and tortured and for how hard she is trying to get Deicide to like her. I have never trusted Alec and blame Deicide for their less than smooth retreat from the faction. She knew "Pops" was right but refused to cooperate simply because she wanted to be a brat! Great read!

Ok so there’s a lot to unpack in this chapter of the story!

My predictions:

• Deicide lost both babies in the back of the car when she was pushed in
• They acquired another baby for her, which is why it’s heavier and more advanced
• Stacy planned Chris to come and attack the home. One of her last sentences “I told them not to hurt the baby” says it all really..

Now I’m going to contradict the author on this, by saying that I do think ace was good for deicide. He grounded her and brought happiness into her life, even if she couldn’t recognise that feeling. Poor Ace!

Raised by a Killer #7 felt like the series finally took a deep breath. It’s a bit calmer than the last few books—which honestly, I needed. My blood pressure thanks you.

There’s still drama, secrets, and the usual “wait, WHAT?!” moments, but the pace lets you actually absorb the madness. Also, between all the graphic moments and unhinged behavior… I might actually end up a vegetarian after this series. Seriously.

Not the wildest entry, but still juicy enough to keep me turning pages (and side-eyeing everyone I know).

DNF at 54%. I think this is where I part with this series. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed it much, but I was very interested in where the story was going. Unfortunately it became too silly. The storyline became very repetitive. I think the thing that I found the most ridiculous is how Ace is introduced so abruptly to this cannibalistic lifestyle and just… is okay with it? Not revolted. Just goes with it.
The plot started to sound rushed, lazy and silly to me, which is unfortunate because the idea of the series was such a good one!

Best one yet in my opinion! I enjoyed the bit at the compound and then loved that her and Ace had a kid. Wasn’t really digging that something happened to the boy they were supposed to have with Bliss. I’m curious to see what happens there. I wasn’t a huge fan of Ace dying either, but I get why she wrote it like that. D has to turn into her strong independent self again. Can’t just live happily ever after. Excited to see what happens next!

This was THRILLING, and full of TWISTS AND CLIMAXES I did not see coming. I have so many suspicions about what is actually occurring with D and her own family now, and I cannot wait to see how Sea Caummisar plays this new storyline in the next book. I am beyond heart-broken by a character that dies in this book, but I don’t give spoilers but the entire time I was so mad at Sea for destroying D’s only piece of happiness.

THE BEST

I’m at the edge of my damn seat right now!!!!! I knew there was way too much adorable happiness to last but I did not expect it to end on that note!! This series is willlllddd but you grow to love the characters. No one has any idea how upset I am right now. I need to see what Deicide does. I need to see what else catches up with them. I NEED to see who they catch up to! My jaw is dropped. Bravo! On to the next one

What a rollercoaster I just knew the happiness was too good to be true but the betrayal from Alec yeah this is reason no.101 why I don’t like this man. Stacy seems sweet it’s nice she has a maternal figure. From what I can gather is Bliss not actually her baby did she lose both of them and then they stole a baby for her to have cause if so has she now not lost 5 babies that poor girl I hope D and bliss get their happy ever after 🙏🏻

Ok so the start of this one was boring so I took a break from it for a while, however middle to end?! My god I have so many questions but also how many people is Deicide going to lose. I was starting to find her annoying but now I just really feel for her but i definitely don’t think that this is her baby something is being held secret and it was written in a way where I HAVE to read book 8 because I NEED to know the answers to my questions

This Family Rocks

I have read this series from Book 1 through Book 7 so far. I do not usually read books that consist of a collection but this author has become one of my favorites.
I always wonder if the main character Deicide will ever be happy or find out the truth that seems to stay hidden. I know or hope I know that one day she is going to rise up and kick ass.

Love the story. A brilliant series.

Again I was surprised by the turn of events. I do not trust Stacey. I'm thinking there's more to her than meets the eye, that she has an agenda. This is really keeping me hooked (no pun intended). I'm really looking forward to whatever happens next
