Book 1 - Sweet Montana Sky 3* - I couldn't get into this book and had trouble caring about the characters, perhaps because I was distracted by how quickly Tabby got over a broken ankle and my brain was having trouble processing how the sabotage could have taken place with nobody the wiser. I was however reading this late at night and as other reviewers appear to have enjoyed it perhaps it was just me.
Book 2 - Sweet Home Montana 4* - After her cheating husband ran off with all her savings, Katie returned to her home town of Sweet Montana with only forty seven dollars in her purse. Whilst living in her parents house and working in a bank, her dream of designing for a living is fired up by an old dilapidated chapel. Handsome police officer Caleb, who catches her trespassing, gradually becomes entwined into her life and her heart.
Book 3 - Sweet Montana Rescue 5* - Loved this story, with first Nash rescuing Harper from a car accident and then Harper using her first aiding knowledge to save his life when yet another weather related catastrophe occurs the next day. What a start to a relationship! Their love however is not plain sailing, as Nash is intent on protecting his heart from pain. A lovely couple and a good read.
Book 4 - Sweet Montana Outlaw 4* - Brodie went to prison for the manslaughter of Tara’s brother, so she is horrified and furious when he gets a position in the town where she lives. Can they both learn to live with the past? And can they be something more to each other?
Book 5 - Sweet Montana Secrets 4* - Julie has spent the past ten years running. Her therapist says she needs to confront her past for her life to move forward, so for the past six months she has been living near her hometown. However if it wasn’t for her brother seeing her, she wouldn’t be in Sweet - she’s still not ready! A tale dealing with overcoming the demons of addiction, grief and guilt.
Book 6 - Sweet Montana Bride 3* - It’s a good thing that Mia is a confident woman because Trip Taggart certainly drags his feet over doing anything with the attraction he feels for her. Shame about the numerous silly typos, such as ‘Disclosure highs’ instead of ‘Just close your eyes’.
Book 7 - Grown-Up Christmas Wish 5* - After three years mourning her husband Sally Macomber needs the commission from a property auction to fund her move back East, however she has yet to meet the new owner of the property who has one month to find and fund the back taxes and stop the auction cold. When she meets Cade Owen, her heart starts to beat again and she finds herself rooting for him.
Book 8 - Sweet Montana Mischief 4* - EMT Ace meets Hope when the stallion she is riding gets the better of her. He quickly becomes enamoured with her but her medical condition has made her wary of relationships, can he persuade her that he wants a forever with her? A sweet story but one that needed an epilogue and a proofreader for the typos.

I enjoyed every single book.
8 really good stories and if it weren’t for the snow, I would love to live in Sweet. I am glad I ran across this author and this boxed set. Give it a read. You’ll be glad you did.
