I have to say, the first meeting of Dmitri & Cassandra had me laughing to be honest as he made a big mistake. See, he's not a relationship sort of guy, so his sexy interactions with woman are of the high class paid variety, and when Cassandra comes face to face with him since he hired her company to check on his security system, he thought she was his "date" that day (she was not too pleased). Neither wants to blur the lines of business with something else, but when the intense sparks really start flying, well, they can't stay away from each other. However, he makes a lot of missteps, and she's a flight risk, so can they have any sort of future together?! You know what to do to find out as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sparks fly in this short and steamy read. Dimitri and Cassandra definitely brought the spice!! I loved the witty banter between these two and the push-pull dynamic was great. The storyline was fast paced, addicting and well written. I definitely enjoyed this quick read!!

Dmitri and Casandra are one HOT couple! I love reading about characters who are successful, but modest in their success and both of them are top of the line in their respective careers. But a case of mistaken identity brings these two together in an awkward first beginning that is both curl-your-toes steamy and sets the stage for the hurdles these two have to overcome.
Casandra runs her own business and when Dmitri hires her company to look through his security system, the lines of professional and personal get blurred in the most delicious ways! They can't deny their attraction to one another, but they also don't want to take chances they never would when it comes to exploring their attraction.
You'll enjoy the character development, the heat and the intriguing story this one will give you!

D.M Davis is a new to me author and I really loved Dmitri and Casandra's story. Casandra has a meeting with Dmitri at his casino to get a contract to check his computer security as he has some software issues. To say their meeting didn't quite go as she had planned is an understatement. He finds himself smitten with her and the more he chases the more she runs away from him. She has a run-in with Dmitri's brother Stefan which doesn't go well and she runs away to where Dmitri won't find her. Will Dmitri be able to find her and will they get their HEA.
I received an arc for my honest review for NNBB. If you love a romance with lots of hot chemistry between the couple you will love this read. It was a pleasant change reading a book with a different storyline in this book. We also get introduced to other members of both families and can't wait to read their stories in future books in the series. I loved this story and will be checking out other books by this author.

This was a short read, under 200 pages, but it didn’t disappoint. It didn’t feel too rushed or leave me feeling like something was missing from it.
When Dmitri mistakes Casandra for one of his escorts, she’s definitely not happy! She’s there to fix a software issue for him, not for sex. But he’s smitten from the get go, and wants her. They quickly fall into a relationship and everything seems to be going well, until a misunderstanding happens and leaves her running hurt and extremely offended.
These two were HOT together!! The characters were well written and I wouldn’t mind seeing them in their own book! My only complaint is I kinda wished it was longer!

Oh this was so spicy I couldn't put it down! I rooted for the characters to work all their issues out and just be happy with each other. It was so entertaining and I enjoy reading books from D.M. Davis.

Cool, calm & in control to bumbling mistake after mistake
Vegas Storm by D.M. Davis is first off a fantastically amazing five star read. From beginning to end it is non-stop banter with plenty of snark including a heavy dose of misunderstandings and mistakes. These characters are not to be missed. Dmitri is a dichotomy; a family man to his core yet doesn't think love is for him. Shallow and surface level only with women until Cassandra barrels in like a wrecking ball, although unintentionally on Cassandra's part. She is a fiercely independent women who also places family at the top of her priorities which leaves her social and romance life a bit lackluster.
The plot focuses on the businesses of these two and how it brings them together in an embarrassingly provocative and sensual way for all the wrong reasons. As the story progresses, it places these two in a state of confusion and want while feeling like fish out of water. Dmitri makes mistake after mistake and Cassandra runs to avoid.
Overall, Dmitri gets his head on straight and becomes the fiercely persistent and determined alpha fans of this author adore. And, Cassandra gets out of her head long enough to give things a chance. Eventually this couple find themselves on the same page and there's a beautiful HEA in the making.

Although I am not am not someone who typically enjoys reading novellas or short stories I am a huge fan of D.M Davis’s writing, in fact she happens to be one of my very favorite authors. So of course reading Vegas Storm which is her addition to the Hot Vegas Nights multi author collection was a no brainer . This time around we get Dmitri and Casandras emotional rollercoaster of a love story .mistaken identity, off the charts chemistry, witty Banter , humor , family , friendships, unexpected surprises, misunderstandings, heartbreaking and heartfelt moments , fun , sexy , angsty , wonderfully written characters , moments that will literally keep you on the edge of your seat heart beating so fast and others that will put a smile on your face and have you rooting so hard . Please Larson the lack of details in regards to the storyline but this really is such a fantastic story , one i honestly feel you are going to enjoy most by simply reading it for yourself.

This book is part of the Hot Vegas Nights Collaboration and also the first book in a new series by D.M. Earl. I have read a few of D.M. Earl’s books and loved them. This one was no different. Dmitri is a busy man and a hotel owner. He has a contract for getting certain needs meet. So when a woman shows up in his bedroom he expects certain things. Cassandra owns a tech company. She is there to help with some issues they have been having with the hotel system not for Dmitri’s bedroom needs. They do not have a great first meeting. Don’t get me wrong Cassandra liked what he was doing but she wasn’t there for that. Dmitri is taken by Cass and needs her working for him and under him. Now he just needs to figure out how to get her to agree. The first one is pretty easy but the second is harder. He needs to treat her like he wants her and not just for sex. Cass isn’t that type of woman. Will Dmitri figure out how to prove to Cass that he wants her in every part of his life? These characters were great and the world building is fantastic. I look forward to next book in this series. Fantastic job D.M. Earl.

Cassandra, thought she was going to a business meeting to talk about cyber security. What she got was a hot steamy confrontation with the very person whom she thought to be working for. Being the professional she is and rightfully embarrassed and outraged she runs. Little does she know he plans on catching her.
This is a book of wills, two strong willed people both fighting for their own identities to be acknowledge and understood. Two people that are fighting to be loved and both believing they are undeserving of it. An amazing read that has left me wanting more of the Hot Vegas Nights A five star series to be sure!

Dmitri is not a man who entertains relationships, and when he is having security issues her hires Casandra to check out his system. Casandra is fiercely independent and is the owner of her own company. When Casandra meets Dmitri for the first time, he mistakenly thinks she is one of his escorts, and she is not happy. There is an instant attraction between these two and the chemistry is explosive and undeniable. This is a well written story which is filled with misunderstandings, emotions, family, witty and sarky banter, humor, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I really loved this story. Dimitri and Cassandra and their chemistry just did it for me. I loved their push and pull and the banter between the two of them. Dimitri has such a strong personality and he is used to getting what he wants and he wants Cassandra. They both take a gamble with their hearts, will it paid off? really loved this story. Let’s just start this by praising the god that is Dimitri. Holy panty melting hotness.
Okay okay I’m good- this is a super sexy and well written quick read. This couple have immediate chemistry and while we have an uber successful MMC we also have a FMC who is successful, strong and independent and I LOVE that so much. They meet in an unconventional way but the pull is unavoidable.
This author writes the best love stories- I truly hope we get more of these two in the future and I’m looking forward to meeting the other Storm brother in book 2 of this series.

Dimitri Storm is smart, determined, responsible, loyal, and if you ask Cassandra Vaughn bossy. But after all he is the boss of a casino among other things. He's a billionaire, who's spent a good number of years supporting his younger siblings and making sure they would never want for anything.
Cas well she's also the oldest sibling and believe it or not these two have way more in common I think then either wants to admit.
Both hiding in different ways, not willing to gamble with their hearts.

This novella should have been named Hot Vegas Storm, D M Davis has created a fast-paced, hot, yet suburb storyline. Dmitri, the casino owner who doesn't do relationships ever is about to get knocked off his feet by feisty Cassandra Vaughn, and it is great to watch this mighty man fall, of course, that is after he has to do some grovelling after mistaking Cass for someone else. The added mystery element was a great addition, and I just kept engrossed in Vegas Storm from start to finish and sad that it wasn't a longer story.

Wow, what a hot steamy read. This had me devouring every page right from the start. Dmitri was a beast of a character, and loved every minute I got with him. He was charming, dominant, caring and hot; everything one needed. Then we have Cassandra, she was independent, strong-willed, and definitely not afraid to speak her mind. Both of them were perfect for each other and reading their banter was great and at times funny. The storyline flowed quickly, the romance was hot, spicy, and entertaining. This is a must read and I cannot wait to grab the next!

Cas shows up to Dimitri and he thinks she is one of his contracted escorts. He finds who she is forgoing what his brother or may not be doing, he asks Cas she will be his. She agrees believing it is just for the night. They are a steamy pair and love the cross between English and Polish language. Probably one of my favorites in this series. What a great book!!! This is the first book by D.M. Davis that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Dimitri and Cassandra are great characters and I love their supporting cast of family and close friends. This book was well written with great chemistry and even made me chuckle from time to time. Dmitri is a no strings attached guy, until Cas comes around. He thinks she’s one of the escorts, but actually she’s the owner of her own security firm.
The moment they meet, the chemistry is there and they can’t escape it.
The drama in the book is just the right amount, the spice is explosive.
They both have a hard time knowing how to handle each other.

Sassy, steamy and with a side of sweetness, Vegas Storm is simply a fun read.
A case of mistaken identity results in a scorching connection and attraction that can't be denied. I loved Casandra's independence and smarts. Her quick wit, sassy tongue and belief in herself and her worth are the perfect balance to Dmitri's bossy pants nature, and fortified walls.
This is a great intro into a new world and I'm ready for more.

This is a quick read with a lot going on. Dmitri is used to getting what he wants and he wants Cassandra. Cassandra thought she was knocking on Dmitti’s door for business but definitely not the type of business he thought she was there for. These two were definitely making me dizzy with how much they were going back and forth but this was definitely an interesting read. I really enjoyed Dmitri and his strong personality. They both had strong family ties and some fun family drama. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

I have not read a lot of D.M. Davis’ books and this is the first book of the series I've read. And I enjoyed it a lot. Dmitri and Cass' story are so amazing. I loved the emotional roller coaster they took me on. I loved all the feels these two gave me. I mean, the way these two complicate things frustrated me but that's what gave me all the feels. Loved it!

Dmitri and Cas meet under less-than-ideal circumstances but boy do the sparks fly! Once I started reading I didn’t want to put the book down! These two left me laughing, cringing, and fanning myself! Plenty of drama for these two and potential for more with their brothers and sisters. Please write more! I’m not done with these characters yet.
