Crystal Fox is new to Riverstone Academy. She lives alone, has purple eyes, is half human and half… vampire?! Conan Knight is the son of an Alpha werewolf who is determined to chase her away so that he can keep the humans of his school safe. After learning of her past, he just might change his mind on how he’s viewed vampires his entire life…
Andalee Brooke is a Louisiana native that loves halloween, rainstorms, the color blue, and prefers the company of animals over humans. When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading spicy novels, cooking (and sampling) her own cajun food, and adding to her tattoo collection.
This was a slay on episode and an even bigger slay as a book. I will eat up whatever this author publishes and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one. Even though I know what happens because I've read it already, I just can't help the excitement because it's just that good. I'll eat this story up in any way it's served to me.
I've read Fangs and Paws multiple times! From Ink and Limelight on Episode to now a novel, and words can't describe how much love I have for not only the story itself but the characters! Conan and Crystal have such a special place in my heart! I love the dynamic between them so damn much! I can't wait to read book 2! 😭🧡🧡
This story is good, so freaking good. And the characters are amazing! I loved Conans and crystals whole relationship, I loved their friendships and family relationships… I loved their drama. The only thing I didn’t like was the ugly ass tears I cried towards the end…. Kim K could never touch this level of ugly crying. It was so good and sad, I just wanted to hug everyone and make it all better 😭 I can’t wait until book 2!
I cannot wait to see more from this author and of these characters. Action, Romance, Comedy - all trademark Andalee Brooke. I’m so excited to continue reading the Blood Fate Series!
I know deep in my bones that she’s mine, but I’m afraid that I might not be hers
First of all, I'm unbiased with this review cause I already loved the characters, Conan and Crystal's story never gets old. Whether is be told on an interactive app or finally in a book.
Despite that, I truly believe is an easy and enjoyable read even if you haven't read this story previously. Some aspects of the story yes, are cliche but some are unique and I love the world the author has created. Now let's continue with the characters.
I've always liked how grumpy Conan is, but I love how he acts so different around fangs aka Crystal. Also, I loved to have more insight on Conan's thoughts, how he felt in certain events and how difficult some choices were.
Crystal, she's fierce, sassy, strong and not afraid to speak her mind despite what she has been through. I love her unique characteristics but I won't tell more cause I don't want spoil anyone 🤭 Her dynamic with her family even if we don't see it as much in this book for certain valid reasons is amazing how everyone is so supportive of her.
They were things that I disliked, just as a warning these are a me thing. I felt like it some parts the writing it's redundant, i don't like scenes with too many narrations of details that are irrelevant to me. Those were the main reason why I didn't give it 5 stars but it's not a big deal. The author has potential and I appreciate the fact that she took the time to develop her writing book skills because she knows is way different than writing in an interactive app.
I am so glad I stumbled across this book and the author on BookTok! It was so good. I am obsessed with werewolves and vampires and I enjoy academy stories but this was a unique take on all of it. The characters were relatable and the plot kept me hooked. I'm ready for the next book!
My new favorite book! Simply could not put it down. The shifts between the characters’ points of view allows the reader to get to know them on a level I’ve never experienced before! Can’t wait for part 2.
This book is amazing. The connection Conan and Crystal share is out of this world. To the cute holding hands, to just holding each other to sleep, to the kissing. Even tho conan didnt admit it i could feel him and crystal's love for each other trough the book. I enjoyed it so much that I read till 3:30am and continued today and finished it!🥰 I honestly CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE!! The cliffhanger is killing me. What I did miss was that some scenes where cut of and i was intrested to read more like some 🌶️ scene's and some chatting scene's But I respect Andee's writing and believe her choises! plus the book has 400 pages so I understand💕 Their love is meant to be and I will keep saying it until the end of time! till bext time Conan and Crystal🥺

I loved how Crystal and Conan's relationship progressed so naturally even though they were mates! And Conan is one of my favorite characters in a while!!💙
Everyone loves a tale of vampire and werewolf rivalries, and this one had a lil extra thrown in as a nice twist. While I thought the characters were written a bit older than they actually were, I still thoroughly enjoyed the story. Looking forward to seeing where the next book takes us. 🐾
I love these characters so, so much. From Crystal’s sass to Conan’s snark to Victors well, EVERYTHING!!! The character building in this story is perfection, you really feel for the characters and what they are going through. And despite reading this story on the Episode app many times and knowing what will happen, I still found myself in tears as the book came to an end, that final scene hitting me right in the feels. This story is so unique and full of heart, I cannot recommend it enough!
Fangs and Paws was a fun and easy read. The plot unraveled at a pace that kept the reader engaged while moving the story line along. The characters were well described and had depth. For a fantasy novel, it did a great job blending the surreal world of vampires and werewolves with relatable events and feelings. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the next one!
This book has been a wonderful read for me. I enjoyed each and every chapter and from the very first chapter it was gripping. Fantasy has always been my favourite but this book was on another level. The cover photo is quite intriguing and the contents inside are also very interesting.
The author has flawless writing skills and she has grabbed my attention by writing this masterpiece. I am a big fan of vampires and this was a unique read for me. The storyline and plot development was great and the twists were placed in the perfect places. There was no unnecessary drama and the world building is absolutely fantastic. I absolutely loved the character development of Crystal and Conan and their relationship has been written in a beautiful way.
I will definitely recommend this book to all Fantasy readers. Grab your copies today guys.
I really liked the relationship with Crystal and Conan. The writing by the author is very good and relatable to all teenagers and even adults. I love how Crystal is a Dhampir, or half vampire and Conan is a werewolf. These are two of my favorite paranormal groups to read about:) I love that Crystal can also sing and play guitar, like a normal human, except she isn't. I love when Victor shows up too, he is such an interesting character on his own. The steam is there too in this book, like a 2/5, not too detailed but just detailed enough that it fits the story. I love the backstory of Crystal and the family dynamics of Crystal's and also Conan's families. I loved that ending and have a feeling that there will be another book in the works also!
I must have read this story about seven times on Episode and adored the novel when I bought a physical copy. It's truly addictive! The storyline itself is simple yet captivating and the characters are so lovable (excluding the pure blood vampires of course). I also loved the design of the physical, paperback version. Can't wait to buy the second book when it's released :)
