Stripping may not be every little girl’s dream, but it sure as hell beats being some pack’s little pet.
Heats, bite marks, and scent matches?
Absolutely knot.
Yet my plans of a pack-free existence blow out of the window when my boss sells me to a client, and that was how I became the property of the Whitefang Pack.
Ted, Killian, Fionn, and Hiroshi are death incarnate. The most notorious pack in the city. Everyone fears them, and I’d be wise to do their bidding.
In their wildest dreams.
I am no one’s property, and I will escape.
They'll see.
Absolutely Knot is a captivating omegaverse standalone that will take you on an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. So some scenes may be triggering for some readers. There are references to past abuse, too. Also, this book contains MM and MMFM.
Violet Fox is a lover of foxes and the colour purple...
When she's not writing about werewolves, vampires, and faeries, she can be found watching cute fox videos online, or drinking a ridiculous amount of tea and cof
I preordered this because book 1 was pretty good. I don’t return ebooks, so she’s got my money for this one but she’ll not get me on the next.
This is written like a high school creative writing project. it’s choppy, the phrasing and sentences are juvenile.
And I’m honestly horrified because- spoiler- she lets us know that she has to give her boss head repeatedly over the last six months as part of her housing situation. Which she’s fine with doing, btw. And the author lets us know repeatedly … over and over… and over… that the reason her boss was in debt was for his medical treatments for genital herpes. He had active cold sores as he was selling her to Killian.
I CANNOT UN-READ THAT.
I don’t think I can finish this.
UPDATE—— I continued to 21%. You’re telling me that the criminal kingpins of the , living high in their penthouse apartment, have a room in their penthouse with a sign hanging out front labeling it as their “Arsenal”??? Are you joking????
And having the stereotypical Asian master meditation guru who only drinks tea??? What sort of Mr. Miyagi nonsense is this?
And Ted wanting to wear an eye patch to cover a scar…. While he still has the eye? And it works? WHAT SORT OF CRIMINALS ARE THESE?
And her not wanting anything to happen to Martina, who just drugged her and set her up to go into heat in a strip club full of alphas, knowing that hiding her omega designation is an automatic death sentence in this OV??? But constantly stating she’s bad mamajama?
And is she 4”11 or 4”0? Cause both are given.
And are her eyes hazel, or a bright jade? Cause again…. Both are given.
Annnd and and! She’s flip flopping literally every other paragraph. She’s going to like it here. She’s escaping. She’s moving up in the world. She’s going to run. She could really get used to this. She’s going to jump out a window to her death. What is up with this complete lack of cohesion in her own mental thoughts???
I’m going to finish this so I can update on how utterly garbage this book is. I paid good money for the experience, after all.
Absolutely Knot was an entertaining read, though it was not the most original of omegaverse books I have read. The storyline felt too similar to the previous book in the series, almost matching significant events. It also felt formulaic – one Alpha was all in, one Beta unable to resist her, and one Alpha dead set against adding the Omega to the pack. I would have liked a little bit more variety in this book. All that said, I still enjoyed the story, and I am glad I read it. With it being a standalone, I could see it being easily read without reading the previously released book.
I do like the FMC, Ravyn. After escaping the government’s Omega training facility, she is working as a stripper, hiding her Omega status by posing as a Beta pretending to be an Omega to get the best tips. She is perfectly comfortable with her appearance and knows her appeal to Alphas, using it to her advantage. Taking heat suppressants for so long has wreaked havoc on her hormones, placing her in several precarious positions, the worst being discovered and then sold to the deadliest Alphas in the city. She refuses to be scared and tries to resist his allure – she does not need an Alpha’s knot! I love the unique description of her scent – most Omegas are described as having fruity, flowery, or baked goods scents, but her predominant scent is cinnamon. Not cinnamon rolls. Pure cinnamon.
I did enjoy seeing the members of Pack Cobra again. Since the series is interconnected, there was some crossover of characters, including one major player from the first book. I predict some more plot crossover in subsequent books.
I honestly haven’t made it to 25% of this book because the writing is so bad. It’s written in the first person but as if you could hear the characters every conflicting bipolar thought. The writing style is juvenile. None of it is cohesive, main character switches her demeanor , her opinion on whether she wants to escape or not , or whether she wants to engage with the pack every five seconds . and like someone else mentioned, She unrepentantly gave a blow job to strip club owner w active herpes on his face and down there to pay for rent. She then is taken by these gangster like characters who are so stereotypical it’s almost offensive. Over all poorly written, cringe worthy. Would rate 0 stars if I could.
It started off good, I really liked the main character, she was sassy and a stripper wich it was something I saw never saw in other omegaverse. The more I read the less I like it, the writing style wasnt for me and I feel that the storyline was missing its story. The smut wasnt that much present as much as I would like it and the last fiew chapters were I bit too hurried up for my taste.
🤦🏻♀️That was bad and gross. The FMC, Ravyn, is totally inconsistent. Sometimes she seemed being brave, sassy, and independent, and then, she just become an hormonal mess, totally submitted to the guys who kidnapped her🙄 Her inner monologue were appalling, it sounded like she had split personnality😳 This made very difficult to understand her, and like her. And then she accepted that Killian, touch her even if she didn't want it. She didn't react so much when he put a collar and a lead on her, and even "thanked" him for buying her new clothes!!! Who is this girl? So all the steam felt dubcon and it was very upsetting, nothing sexy at all. The guys were totally despicable, especially Killian who is a psychopath ignoring what feelings and consent mean.

For a book titled Absolutely Knot, the FMC let's Killian (the pack leader) finger bang her in the shower at his penthouse after he "rescues" (characters words, not mine)her from the strip club she was working at.
He didn't rescue her. He went to collect a debt, which was $ that they had lent the club owner to treat his gentile herpes 😒🙄. Killian decided to take to Ravyn as payment because apparently the club owner didn't have the money. Ravyn was pretending to be a Beta, but the other strippers, including a female alpha pretending to be a beta, switched out her suppressants to enhancers to get rid of her.
Ravyn was made out to be a badass in Omegas Don't Cry, which I enjoyed despite the writing style being repetitive. We don't meet Ravyn in that book. She's just described by Dove, her formal cell mate at the OCC. All Ravyn has done so far is be mouthy and cave immediately to Killian.
Killian - I was interested in reading about him and his pack after his introduction in Omegas Don't Cry, but I already can't stand him. Killian sucks. There's absolutely nothing he could do later in the book that would change my opinion about that.

Ravyn has escaped the OCC and has been pretending to be a beta while dancing at a strip club. She’s a sassy, sarcastic and one tough omega determined to survive on her own. The night she meets Killian she’s been given hormone pills instead of her heat suppressants and she is drawn to him. When Killian brings “buttercup” home with him not everyone in his pack are happy. We meet mr grumpy Ted with a heartbreaking backstory as to why he doesn’t want an omega. We meet Fionn who loves to eat just as much as he loves the chef of their pack. Then we have the beta of the group Hiroshi. These men are all killers and they run the city. Ravyn is determined to flee their home and them. She doesn’t want to need them and she doesn’t want to let her guard down.
I have to say I enjoyed this book so much more then the first one in this series. Ravyn was mouthy, sarcastically funny and just a brat. Her banter with each of the pack was witty and comical. There is danger, violence and plenty of knotty steaminess to keep you engaged through this whole book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story about a feisty omega trying to find her place in a world where her designation gives her less rights than a wild animal.
This is a typical RH Omegaverse story in that this follows one Omega’s fight for her future happiness-which she finds in the arms of her alphas/pack. That’s where the similarities end though, and you find the delicious heart that is the ooey gooey center of Knot That Kind of Girl.
Each of the Omegas and packs found in this series of standalones is completely unique and filled with their own trauma, hopes, and fears that reach out and grab onto the reader and refuse to let go. The tension is brief as far as pack building/initial encounters and the spice is fast burn for sure. We even have cameos from the pack from book one that weren’t out of place or forced and that’s something I really love to see- it’s like an extra bonus episode of a favorite show.
Meh This got off to a decent enough start, but then there’s just nothing really there to hold interest. The sex scenes are fairly brief and flat. The heat scenes are just lacking in everything that makes heat scenes good. The first heat scene was kind of weird. Can’t say why without spoiler, but that is probably when this book really lost me. Also, I didn’t read the first book so clearly missed a lot of world building and a brief summary would have been nice. From what I can tell the government treats omegas slightly worse than than the taliban treats women. Omegas are seen as the root of all evil. They’re mostly kept in a prison, the cot one thin blanket with a side of torture thrown in kind of prison. Else they are breeders the kind that are raped and then have their babies taken away. If neither of these they’re still forced to hide and are socially stigmatized. The whole thing was very bleak. It’s strange too because I wouldn’t say this book is dark omegaverse it’s just bleak omegaverse and all kind of sad.
Smutt. There is a lot. Once you get threw half the book it's just eh. A couple of good ones but not rub your thighs together good.
Book. Weak, innocent, small. Once again I was hoping for better but was let down. She is suppose to be different a rebel not wanting a knot wanting to be her own person. Went straight out the window after the 1st knot. I liked her better then the other one she had a mouth but not by much. *spoilers* for a omega that went thou her 1st heat in the mud for 4 days to be puddy in someone hands was a let down. There wasn't a lot of fight in her at all which I was hoping for *spoilers*
Then main conflict is the a big powerful bad guys that has hurt all the guys but only in the last couple chapters is there any fight or conflict other then I want to bang no I don't.
Read 1st and 2nd one in a day. If you want a fast read that's kinda of spicy but not into the whole werewolf thing but into knots this is for you

Absolutely Knot by Violet Fox is the second book in the Knot That Kind of Girl series. In this book we meet Ravyn, an Omega who is hiding. We heard about Ravyn in the first book - she was Dove's cellmate. We met Killian quickly in the first book as well. Ravyn is working as a stripper when Killian Whitefang, an Alpha sees her. Ravyn ends up being bartered by her boss's outstanding debt. She goes with Killian to meet the rest of the pack - Ted, Fionn, and Hiroshi. Great story. We get to see Dove and her pack and see how they are doing. No cheating. No bullying. HEA. Lots of knotting. Hopefully we'll get to see what happened to Ravyn and Doves' other cellmate soon.
I really don’t know how I finished this book I felt like the heroine is pick me girl the way she acted the way every woman who see her has a problem with her?!! Don’t get me start at the way that Nancy disrespect her it was really funny to read i had to stop away from the book and get a minute 🤡
“Nancy calls out behind me. “Nice yoga pants, by the way. What were they? 99 cents?”
The fact that the word B*tch is written in this book 56 is enough to tell u how much there is drama between the heroine and every girl she see 🫢
I enjoyed reading this book. Ravyn was a great character and her interactions with the guys were nice and all. I guess my problem is how fast she switched. Like I wonder if she didn’t go into heat, would the dynamics have changed and maybe there might have been more progression into the development of the characters kind of like Dove and her guys. I guess I’m rating this a 4 and not a 5 is because I wish there would have been more progression in her desires and needs instead of just a flip being switched. Still a decent read and am looking forward to the final book in this series.
So I did like this book. It's an omegaverse that is a bit darker. The way Ravyn thinks and acts falls in line with how omegas are treated by their government. So the back and forth on not wanting an Alpha and their knot to oh yes how did I ever go without my Alphas and their knots is exactly the way it should be. It's obviously a theme for this series so I do expect similar tendencies for the next book. Which I am looking forward to. Who doesn't love broken and damaged Alphas finding their mate who heals them all in the best ways an omega can.
I wish I could give it a 3.5. It's not bad. Really. The characters are great and their development is fun.
But plot wise. It's just a lull. It's mostly weak, doesn't make much effort into detail, and resolves way too fast.
But it's good. I really like Ravyn, even if that's a stupid spelling. I like her conviction.
I wish we got to see more of her relationship with the men. I feel like we would have if this was a series. I kind of pictures them to be like the men in Den of Vipers...but we didn't really get enough details.
Ravyn story held my attention as I enjoyed this omega embrace her designation and discover that having a pack did not destroy her independence, but rather enhanced it.
I enjoyed the story line, and the characters, however the writing style wasn't for me. I found the jump between chapters didn't always flow. It was unclear if the next chapter was a continuation of the scene from a different POV, or a jump further in the future. I love the multiple POV though. It helped add some back story to each character, and explained some of their quirks.
Ravyn is great - I love her sassy, fierce attitude. She will go toe to toe with her Alphas. Killian, Ted, Fionn, and Hiroshi are the Whitefang Pack and they run the city. When Killian finds Ravyn in a club, he has to have her. They are all immediately drawn to her, but they each have some brokenness from their pasts. I liked seeing them all grown and bond. Although I do think Fionn and his goofy, slightly psycho-ness may have been my fave. Although, Hiroshi’s zen, beta-ness is a close second.
The story was just whatever and had no interesting plot . The intimate scenes were rushed and you didn't feel the connection with the alphas . The story had a similar plot as the first book but the first book was much better and you felt more connection to the fmc and the alphas. I will not be reading any more from this author to me it was just a rinse and repeat story.
This is the second book in a series of standalones by Violet Fox. This book focuses on Ravyn, Ted Killigan, Fionn and Hiroshi. I enjoyed the second story more so than the first story in these standalones. Each books focuses on one Omega and a pack. This book includes a Beta in the pack rather than just Alpha's which is why I think I enjoyed this story more.
This is the second book in a series of standalone. We first heard about Ravyn in the first book. Each book focuses on one Omega and a pack. I think I loved this book than the first one. I cant wait for the next book in the series. Violet Fox had done an amazing job with the series so far. I love that each book is different characters with their own story. This series is defiantly a must read!!
Well shoot. I really wanted to enjoy this. Just not for me. It started off ok. There really wasn't a plot. The story started getting really rushed at the end. All of the inner thoughts were very repetitive. The main female character was very wishy-washy. I read tons of omega verse. Unfortunately this just wasn't for me.
I can’t get enough of this series. Ravyn is one tough cookie and ,even as tough as she is she has met her match with the alphas and beta she gets stuck with. Clearly these men have issues as they are killers and well known. This book has plenty of sass and steam. I throughly enjoyed Ravyns story and I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series.
I am totally loving this standalone series! First Dove now Rayven! And their Alphas are so perfect for them! Violet did a seamless job at world building and the Characters and their development and backgrounds were awesome! I just can't get enough of these omegaverse stories! I highly recommend it!
I loved this book! It read quickly, picking up a thread from when the girls were in prison. Ravyn is tough, but she’s had to be since she broke out of the prison for dangerous omegas. Life has been rough, and quickly gets complicated when Killian finds her dancing in a strip club and is a fun ride as they figure things out. Can’t wait for the next book!
This was better than the first one which ended up as a DNF for me - so that’s something. There’s just so little character development. We are told things about the characters but not shown things. The last 10% felt like a desperate attempt to tie up all the loose ends and finish it as soon as possible.
I liked Ravynn, Ted and Fionn. They each had their unique characters and feelings. I loved how Fionn and Ted's relationship progressed. Killian was just a handsome douchebag. No redeeming qualities, no characters growth. Hiroshi was... he was made out of pure stereotypes. It was painful to read those lines.
Loved how this contained characters from the first book Omegas Don’t Cry. I really enjoyed the story line in this one and the characters are just SO good. I love the damaged and broken alpha that is in this. The beta is super sweet too. Perfect omegaverse read!
