Bringing Down the House

It's been years since I read one of Stephanie's books. I don't think I'll go that long until the next one, as I was intrigued by this story.

Sierra thought that Hollywood treated her poorly? Ha! Mother Nature has plans of her own. The silver lining is the three hotties, and 🐕 Zeus, that come to her rescue.

They were strangers, and they were men. In my experience, those were two very good reasons not to let my guard down.

Even though it's a slow burn, I do like the natural progression of things between Carter, Drew, Tristan, and Sierra. There are some seriously sweet moments, glimpses of the heat to come, and some fun and hilarious times that made this an enjoyable read.

There were a couple of items that I would've liked to see better addressed - the waiter and the leaker. I get how devastating the events were, but I would hope Sierra would have found her voice to at least deal with the lowest hanging fruit, instead of being a doormat.

This is obviously part of a series with overlapping characters, but this is definitely a standalone. I never felt lost, even when it came to references to earlier books.

3.5 Stars - Snow Balled is a contemporary reverse harem featuring one woman and three men. It's part of the Roommates series but can easily be read as a standalone novel. Sierra is an actress who has gone to the mountains to write a screenplay. She is staying in a cabin down the mountain from three men, Carter, Tristan and Drew. She has only seen them from a distance until she finds herself trapped in her cabin and they come to her rescue.

This was a fun story to read. Sierra was a mix of jaded and innocent. She was raised in the acting industry and has been controlled by others most of her life. Going up into the mountains and writing her screenplay is her way of taking her independence. Writing is what she wants to do, not acting.

The three guys are working on starting their own business. They welcome Sierra into their cabin when hers becomes uninhabitable. Their interactions with Sierra were entertaining to read as they got to know each other and gradually gravitated towards a relationship.

I liked this one, I just wanted a little more emotional depth built up over the course of the story. My favorite part of the book was the snowball fight and the scenes with Carter leading up to it. I really enjoyed the effort he put in and the bonding time in those moments. I wanted more of that.

Overall, Snow Balled is a good read. I would recommend it to fans of the series and fans of contemporary reverse harems.

I thought this was a fun romance. I really liked the character and these four had such a sizzling chemistry together. There was just so much going on between Sierra, Carter, Tristan and Drew that you just weren't sure what was going to happen next. I found this book entertaining and enjoyable to read.

I really liked this series, but this book didn't hit the mark for me. The FMC, Sierra was so jaded yet innocent. While I understood where she was coming from, there was just so much avoiding the men and being so sure that romance was just a Hollywood hyped thing that she became annoying. This RH book only had 2 detailed sex scenes and only one before they said "I love you" to each other. Only 1 of them even slept with her at that point. This book was the slowest burn ever and while there was some chemistry, it wasn't enough for me to want to recommend it to someone interested in RH books.

Stephanie as always you have delivered another great book. After driving 3 hours home. I could not put the book down. I think everyone wants a Carter,Tristan, and Drew for their very own. I love how their story develops and since I have read the entire series. It makes everything flow so well. I wonder how many ladies had to change their panties with this one. I can’t wait for the next one to come out.

Stephanie Brother always amazes!

Sometimes you read multiple books by an author in the same trope and more often than not they feel like rewrites over and over again.

Each and every book I have read from this author no matter the trope is original, engaging and very good!

The four main characters in this story are all so likeable but seem so realistic that you just have to root for them.

There are lots of ups and downs through out the book but it all comes together as they reach their HEA, and there are two epilogues included.

Sierra's story was fantastic! She's always had trouble being around men so I was interested to see what kind she would end up with. The author did a great job giving Sierra the perfect ones for her. My favorite was Drew for it was he who was the most approachable and kind and adorable, and paved the way for her to becoming more comfortable around them. The hints for the next book in the series were so good, I'm super excited for it. I reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

I found the first 30% boring/slow and then it picked up a bit. There were a few fun scenes and then we finally get to group activities about 75%.

The FMC seems to have a 180-degree from shrinking violet to sexy-time initiator… with the hang ups she describes, it felt inauthentic. I actually stopped reading when the group stuff started… just not really interested in the story. I really disliked one of the male characters - the cocky m@nwh0re - which probably diminished my interest in continuing.

I feel like the author’s books started out with lots of fun smut but are sort of transitioning to some kind of slow burn with explicit sex scenes. I’m not a big fan of that, but others may really like it.

This was such interesting, entertaining, intriguing, emotional rollercoaster ride, full of secrets, angst, steam, trust issues, humor, danger, twists you never saw coming its a page turner for sure.
Sierra Brogan/Sierra Sloane is a movie actress has been since she was very young, also she writes, her life growing up had her being very wary of men in general she's had some bad experiences her BF'S Ronnie, Kylie & Alyssa are her outlets when she's feeling overwhelmed.
Sierra stays at Cabin's for Creatives for peace & solitude to do some writing before her Press Tour for the movie Thrill of the Chase she & Aiden Hunt acted in, talking on phone to Alyssa while the Ice Storm outside rages all of a sudden her roof caves in pinning her down she can't move.
Tristan, Carter & Drew along with Zeus their Collie see what happened to Sierra's Cabin run to her rescue, she ends up having to stay with the three of them which is very difficult for her their gorgeous hot men she doesn't know & is very leary because of everything she's been through her trust issues.
Sierra learns what the three men are all about starting their own business as she spends more time with them she becomes more comfortable but she didn't tell them who she really is they think she's a writer.
I definitely recommend to get this slow burn reverse Harem Romance the characters are so interesting their chemistry is so hot when they finally give into their desires, then something really bad is leaked about her on the internet, will they figure out who's behind it all, will these four get their HEA with everything that happens you must get this book you so won't be disappointed.

Sierra was a child star who grew up controlled by her stage mom. Now as a grown up, she is making her own way. She just finished filming as the sexy arm candy for a hot famous action star. Now she is taking some free time off to work on her dream. She wants to write a screenplay with a strong female lead. She has rented an isolated cabin in the mountains so she can concentrate on her writing. Things are going pretty well until the ice froze everything. A frozen tree breaks and falls on her cabin and traps her. Luckily a little further up the mountain is another cabin with three men and a dog. They come to her rescue and get her out. They bring her up to their cabin and take good care of her. She is starting to develop strong feelings for all three of them but is afraid to tell them who she really is.

Drew, Tristian and Carter have isolated themselves in a cabin on the mountain so they can work at setting up their dream business. They want to start a business of making inexpensive homes that are green and long lasting. They have spotted Sierra when she was out on the back deck and are curious about her. When Zeus their dog comes in upset, they notice that her cabin has been buried under a tree. They rush to the rescue. Luckily they are able to save her and bring her back to their cabin. They willingly offer her a place to stay when it becomes clear that the weather has her trapped on the mountain. Each of the three are attracted to her but they aren't sure who she really wants. After all no woman could want all three of them could they? Too bad they don't know Sierra's friends.

I enjoyed this story but I found the main female Sierra, to be a little too submissive in the way she portrayed herself, it was a continuation of how she was introduced in the previous story with Aidan Hunt in Stunt Doubled, she was the retiring kind of female who let people walk all over her. I loved how previous characters from the other books in the series were participants in the story and that kind of tied it all together.

Sierra had an unhealthy fear of men and when a storm cause the tree to fall down on top of her and her cabin that she was staying in it made it hard for her three rescuers Carter, Drew, and Tristian invited her to stay with them until she could return home. The romance between the four of them was rather slow but super hot once they got things started, it was still what I would call a slow burn in the romance department. It was good that in the end they eventually did find their happily ever after.

We met Sierra in the former stories and I was looking forward for her story. She is wary, if not afraid of men, having little to no experience. She is in a remote cabin and then the accident and weather brings her close to Carter, Drew and Tristian. Of course not everything goes smooth and they have some bumps on the road in store for them.
I am looking forward to new releases from Stephanie brother. I am a fan of the writing style and how she creates characters. In her menage stories, and this is no difference, everyone has their own personality and gets seen. Somehow they have an indiviual relationship and one all together and she makes it authentic, hot and romantic. We already met Sierra and some other characters in former stories, which is an added bonus for me. I enjoyed how Sierra and her men are together, it melted my heart and it is hot!.

We've waited from 3 other books to get to know Sierra better.
And it was an interesting book!
This one felt different in many ways, but not bad.
Sierra is an actress and trying her hand at screenwriting.
She's lived her life in Hollywood, so she knows the deal with how it all works.
So that her screenplay can be amazing, she takes a holiday to a cold, secluded cabin in Colorado.
Things are good until that one storm that damaged her cabin, pinning her under the tree.
And thankfully she had neighbors who heard the crash and worked furiously in the cold weather to save her, and offered her a place to stay and work until conditions were better.
Sierra took the time to do what she needed for her work, but she also started getting to know her three rescuers.
Will they go from being kind strangers to something more?
Glad this story was written.

This was such an amazingly sweet story about Sierra and the three men who were in the cabin up the way. Carter, Drew, and Tristan are work focused and each have their own quirks, and Sierra is a woman who has lived a life of experience but is truly very inexperienced in so many ways and almost sheltered away from real life experiences. This is a slow burn that burns bright as the story goes, and I loved this story. Each man hot and sexy and memorable in their own right and yet each showing how they care deeply even though differently. Sierra is a woman who knows she is in control of her body and owns it. I am a huge fan of Stephanie Brother books but this one takes the cake, it's delicate and wistful but at times Primal and raw. This is the perfect love story in many different ways. I loved it.

I love Stephanie Brothers ménage stories. This one is exceptional. Sierra is an actress on a retreat writing her first screen play when the cabin she is staying in has a tree fall on it. Her neighbors, three sexy hunky men come to her rescue and she has to stay with them until the storm is over and the way is cleared to the cabin. Carter, Tristan and Drew are working on their start up company and they start to have feelings for Sierra and she is starting to have feelings for all of them. This is a well written polyamorous story, problems popping up but they all get solved. Loved it excellent love story.

Sweet and sexy read.

I enjoyed Sierra's story. Carter, Tristan and Drew - the three men that rescue her from an ice storm are absolutely gorgeous - I would have enjoyed reading more from their POV. I love that they understand her extreme shyness and gently befriend her. Her exploration of her sensuality with the men is very sweet and very steamy, though even more steam would have been even better. The underlying theme of women in Hollywood and reclaiming their power is great, but I would have liked a happier ending in that regard in addition to the lovely HEA provided for Sierra and her men.

When a tree crashes into Sierra's cabin roof she is rescued by three sexy hunks.
Actress Sierra rents a remote cabin to try and write the screneplay she is writing but during an ice storm a tree falls across the cabin going through the roof and trapping her under its branches. The nearest cabin is larger and has been rented by three close friends Carter, Trsitan and Drew who are using the isolation to plan out the new business they are starting together. When they sees the tree crushing the smaller cabin the head down to check on the woman who has rented it. They find her trapped and work together to free her then taking her to their cabin and get her warn again.

In this book we meet Sierra Tristan, Carter, & Drew. Sierra is a famous actress from her youth. Now though she wants to write screen plays and to do that she has gone away to a secluded cabin. The only things she has seen besides the grocery delivery guy is a dog she later learns is named Zeus. When a frozen tree comes through the roof she is lucky she met this dog because him with the three men living in the cabin above hers become her saving grace. Can they find a HEA or will the lies that they didn't tell make that impossible?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

We got to see Sierra in past books of this fantastic series and now she is getting her own story. She is a shy actress who is to trying her hand at writing but she having trouble. So she goes to a cabin in the mountains hoping to clear her mind but instead she lands in the middle of a snowstorm. That is where she meets Carter, Drew, and Tristan. During the storm her cabin gets destroyed and she is forced to take shelter with her hot neighbors who have a lot to offer. To see them support and watch them all fall in love is remarkable but it’s not all easy for them, there will be some twists and turns along the way to their HEA.

This book is a contemporary reverse harem story. I loved the story but would like to see more of the guy's POV. This story was a slow burn and not an instant love/lust which I enjoyed. I love it when an author fills out each character and Stephanie does an excellent job. Sierra is an actress working on a screenplay and the three guys are tech guys wanting to start their own company. What can happen in a remote cabin between 4 people? I am eagerly awaiting Stephanie's next book.

What a fun & amazing twist! I’ve loved Stephanie’s previous books so when I was presented with this one I knew I had to read it!

Sierra is such a different character, in so many ways she’s been sheltered but others she’s had a variety of life experiences. Carter, Tristan & Drew each have their own quirks and it comes out in how differently each relationship is with Sierra.

Even though it’s a slow burn, it fits the storyline! Each is different but it works! Stephanie does amazing with bringing the 3 different men together with the same woman.

I absolutely loved this book! It has everything. Hot guys, a girl in need of a little help, but still kicking ass!
The plot is easy to read and follow. It's not a mind blowing or anything but it's something that is easy to enjoy and it stays interesting from the beginning till the end.
The characters are great. I love the guys and for some reason I have a soft spot for Carter even though he is the big, brooding and dark of the guys. And Zeus, the dog, makes everything better, I mean which dog doesn't?

This was a great read. For an actress, Sierra is certainly not a femme fatale. In fact she is gun shy of men and pretty shy. She is content to be alone in her cabin and write a screen play. When an ice storm rolls in and a tree collapses on her cabin, the three hot guys up the mountain come to rescue her. They gradually thaw her resistance to men and show her not all men are scum bags. They teach her love, acceptance and hot, hot times in the sheets. This was a fun and sexy read. You will enjoy this one.

Good enough to finish, but not what I was hoping for. I've read other books by Brother before and there was enough plot to keep the book from being pure erotica, but she still made them very spicy. "Snow Balled" was a lot a plot with little spice. From my impressions, I'm guessing this whole series is this way. There's not nothing wrong with an RH with plot, but this one was a bit heavy - it had a #MeToo theme. The snippet I read from a FB ad made this seem way more spicy than it was so that's what my expectations were. Didn't love the FMC and the male MMC weren't anything different or special.

Unexpected storyline, but hot, hot, hot!

Another great contribution to the series. Sierra’s story was surprising, but the guys were amazing in the way they dealt with her issues. The gradual development of their love and relationship was very well done. I would deduct part of a star for the editing errors that seemed to increase as the ending and epilogues approached. The worst was one paragraph where the names of a couple of the men’s names were switched. Despite the errors, I loved the book and recommend it highly.

This was another fab story for the series and I really enjoyed meeting these characters. Sierra was not typical for an actress and I found her issues heartbreaking and well detailed. The guys were quite different from each other but they sure were able to help her work through her 'fears' beautifully. Their love grew slowly and made perfect sense for the group. I absolutely loved how this story finished, especially after the shocking development happened. That creep got his comeuppance, that's for sure ;P This was a one-sit read for me and I'm really looking forward to the next book :D

Will this movie star finally get her HEA?

Stephanie Brother has done it again with another 5 star read. I have been eagerly awaiting this book & it exceeded my expectations. The dynamic between Sierra, Carter, Drew & Tristan made for a great storyline. Will the guys stand by Sierra when the Hollywood rumor mill strikes or will they walk away from a chance at a HEA?
If you love reverse harem & Stephanie brother then I highly recommend reading Snow Balled as you won't be disappointed.
