VIMANAS: Close Encounters In Ancient India

Description of flying vehicles in early text makes us think of technological advancements in the ancient era There are many references to flying machines in the Hindu temple architecture, carvings and ancient writings. Many old Hindu literary works describe flying machines or Vimanas. Mainstream scholars don't know whether these descriptions are real or imaginary. Some of them believe Ramayana and Mahabharata as history, and others consider the same as mere imagination. Similar to Ramayana and Mahabharata, we find the description of Vimanas in the architecture of ancient India with descriptions in the architecture of ancient India about the Vimanas as having a pyramid shape and even double-decked with portholes and a dome or pyramid on top like aircraft resembles spaceships ready for takeoff from a platform.The flying vimanas described in the ancient Hindu text was thought to be a dream of the mythographer until rockets, airplanes, and zeppelins of the present century saw the light of day. We owe much to the energetic scientists and researchers who plod persistently and carry their torches deep down into the caves and excavations of old and dig out valid testimonials pointing to the misty antiquity of the wonderful creations of humanity.One of these Vimanas, the famous Pushpaka Vimana was a gigantic “plane” the size of a large city entirely capable of holding unlimited numbers of people. Descriptions of these Vimanas in ancient Hindu text have a lot of parallels with eyewitness accounts of the peculiarities of UFO behavior. As a result, they could be ancient visitors from the stars. Different scholars of the Sanskrit texts suggests that these descriptions contain terms and ideas that can be authentic.
