An entertaining read

I enjoyed reading this trilogy about Merlin, a cat who was also a witch. I liked the quirkiness of the characters, who were complicated and intriguingly believable.

Merlin the Magical Fluff
The sheer over-the-top silliness of this book tickles my fancy. If you like silliness, snark, and shenanigans with your paranormal happenings, then it’s probably going to tickle yours as well. As someone who’s been owned by a cat before, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to learn most of this was true. Now that we’ve started to get to know Gracie and Merlin, I can’t wait to learn even more about them.
Merlin Fights a Ghost
Gracie may be settling into her position of being Merlin’s familiar, but the magical world isn’t anywhere near settling down around them. And even worse, it may be dragging innocents into the mix. This book went by in a blur of shenanigans and cat fur. It kept me trying to guess what would happen next and how bad the outcomes could get. My guesses were seldom even close to the mark, so I’m not going to try to figure out what the third book will bring. All I know for certain is that I’m excited to find out.
Merlin Kills a Zombie
Well now. This was not at all where I thought their story was going to go, but I have to admit, I loved every minute of it. This book answered questions I didn’t even realize I had. And I loved the cross-over cameo between the series. I realize that this marks the end of the main story with Gracie and Merlin but I’m so glad to know it’s not a final “the end”.

Gracie Springs moved to Elderberry Heights after her grandmother moved to Florida and left Gracie her house and the cat who showed up on her doorstep days before she moved. In Book #1, Gracie is working part time as a barista while she is finishing her thesis for her Sociology degree. Things are going fairly well until her boss drops dead before her eyes and the police have her pegged as the killer. As if that isn’t enough, Gracie’s life is turned upside down when she finds out that her cat is no normal cat and he can talk! In Book #2, there’s not only witchiness but now there are ghosts to contend with! Finally, in Book #3, Gracie and her cats must contend with zombies! There are moments of scariness in each book, of course, because they are magical beings, but it is perfectly balanced with laughter, friendships, and a little sweet romance. I loved each one of the books and I hope there are more to come in this series! You don’t want to let this trilogy pass you by!

Merlin the Magical Fluff - Gracie has moved to her grandmother’s home in south Georgia. As well as the house, Gracie has inherited the cat that she’s named Fluffy. Surprise! Gracie isn’t a witch, Fluffy is. Only Fluffy isn’t Fluffy, he’s Merlin. You have to read this book and see how this works. Enjoyable story and characters.

Merlin Fights a Ghost - Merlin and Gracie are back on the job. Luna’s old familiar has returned as a ghost and is haunting Gracie’s home. Gracie, a local barista, who is familiar to Merlin the cat, now needs to help remove the ghost. Fortunately, her barista friend is interested in ghosts and knows a little about everything. I loved this twist on familiars and witches in its second endeavor.

Merlin Kills a Zombie - Gracie and Merlin start the day with a zombie bird that just won’t die. And the day gets worse with a scurry of zombie squirrels. This calls for a visit to Nocturna where things only get worse. Loved this book and the characters especially the kittens.

MERLIN THE MAGICAL FLUFF The Trilogy Edition by Molly Fitz is an entertaining read that brings some fun and humor into our dark days and is suitable for the whole family. This three book series is all fun and laughs that drew me in from the beginning and kept me grinning 'til the end.

Gracie's grandmother gifted her with the old family home complete with a cat. There was no mention that the cat is a direct descendent of the original Merlin and he needs a familiar to reach his full magical power. Hello Gracie!

Merlin  with his familiar Gracie, work together to solve murder, resolve ghost issues, even battle battle zombies.

If you like cats, I'm sure you'll enjoy this story and will be kept guessing as the mystery evolves. This story has plenty of surprises that kept me turning pages while smiling from beginning to end. I'm definitely looking forward to stories from Molly Fitz.

I absolutely love this story! I also love that the cats are witches and the humans are the familiars! This is a great magical mystery!!!

Merlin Fights a Ghost


Gracie and Merlin continue to bond as witch and familiar. Luna and Merlin continue to bond as mates.

When a ghost starts to form at the house they assume it is Virginia.

They spend time trying to find out what they can while dealing with the rest of their lives, which continues to get more and more complicated.

I love Merlin the Magical Fluff! It’s a great read!


Merlin Kills a Zombie

Cats and zombies, not something you might think of, but that is what happens with Merlin and his familiar Gracie! They have to battle animal zombies and an evil wizard!

Drake is back to help and we find out where his weirdness comes from!

Luna will not stay behind just because she is about to have a litter of kittens! She does her part as well!

This trilogy take us from when Merlin picks Gracie as his familiar as they battle with an evil cat, greedy familiar, a ghost and zombies to the final battle. I like how Gracie sticks with Merlin and Luna and in turn their kittens. It was a nice blend of magic and action.

Wow not one but three magical cozey para mysterys and each one so well written you'll be like me and be drawn in by the whimsical and quirky characters while being enticed in further by the intriguing mysterys and completely enchanted by the plot that you'll want to read all three magical mysterys at once not stopping until the exciting and dynamical conclusion. The complete series at one time. You don't have to wait for each book to come out. Read them one after the other. Gracie is Merlin's familiar. Between the two of they have adventures with a witch, a ghost and zombies. What more could you want?.

I have never loved and laughed at a series like I have with this one. Merlin, Luna and Gracie make a wonderful supernatural crime fighting gang. I really enjoyed the zombies the most. I think this one had the most action in it. The suspense and the twists were intriguing but I love the magic cats the most.

This was a decent collection. It was nice to have them all together. I think the second one was my favorite. The characters are ok, but a bit silly at times. But the mysteries and setting were interesting.

Merlin in this world is the witch and grace is considered the familiar because of course this is a world of talking cats and I love it. This series is well written and I love Merlin and his charm is what I call it.

Merlin the Magical Fluff in not the usual witch story. This time the human is the familiar for her magical cat. There are a ton of misdirects and some very interesting plot twists. I like Gracie and Merlin and look forward to their continuing adventures. This fascinating mystery even has a moral.
