Who needs rest…? You!
Are you always on the go and doing everything you can to get ahead? Are you staying up late to read that book you can’t put down or watching the big game to see if your team wins!? Well if that’s you then face it you need rest.
In Rest Stop Ahead author and pastor John Scally talks about and describes the rest that we all need. He talks about the rest that comes from the lord and how god has shown us through his word that rest is vital for us to succeed in everything we do. From being successful at work to being attentive at home with our families resting is the key.
God has given us instructions for rest and John shows throughout his book where in the Bible God speaks and demonstrates that rest and the importance it plays in our lives. God wants us to rest in him as well as rest physically.
If you are looking for rest and want to know more about how the lord can bring you that rest I recommend picking up Rest Stop Ahead. It is an easy read packed full of fun stories, great advice, and biblical truth.
