Thanks for all the happiness you bring to those of us that read. Peace.
Time travel and demons and mysteries, oh my. The Careful Revolutionary had main 2 story lines going with Paris time travelling to restore classic love stories from the past and Sherlock Holmes and King Rudolf off on adventures trying to track down Subfar. Oh and not to mention there is still a demon out there to rid the world of. This story has plenty of adventures for all characters. I love how the relationship between Sherlock Holmes is King Rudolf is playing out - so fun. And Paris just gets more strong and kick arse book by book!
Paris is very busy trying to keep her 3 departments running, fixing a couple time traveling snafus and taking out a major demon. As usual this book was full of action, magic, laughter and friends. I really enjoyed the story and am looking forward to see where it goes next.
This is a good jump between the past and the future and of course we have to have some cool tie ins, some great travel stories and kinda a mini arc ending as well. The usual jump into the mind of Noffke and another 5 stars
So much happened in this book, it was a roller coaster of action and emotions - yeah, you made me cry AGAIN Sarah Noffke!
Tomar, recruited by the evil fairy Jackson Zelle, went back in time to change 2 love stories which changes the present time. It's up to Paris to go back and fix the timeline.
Then we have the Subner and Subfar situation - lock up Subner so Sherlock and Rudolph can find Subfar. Once again, the brainless Rudolph is brilliant.
Lastly, Paris has to deal with Tomar to save the world.
As usual for this whole series, book six took me on a real rollercoaster of a ride.
Between Paris and Faraday needing to travel back in time, to right the wrongs caused by Tomar the Demon, plus Sherlock Holmes, & King Rudolph of the Fae, hunting down Subfar, Protector of Wealth, in order to help the FGA to survive the financial crises, brought about by the greed and hatred of Jackson Zelle, for all things related to Love, there was nothing but one crazy race after another, in order for Love to be completed.
But it's when Paris finally confronts Tomar, that the real battle begins.
I loved this is story. It was fast paced, full of surprises, and with intriguingly short hints, to what will be happening in further stories.
I am going straight on to the next book, which is book seven: The Affectionate Monster, to find out what's going to happen next, and I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what does!
This time Jackson Zell is using the demon Tomar to go back in time to change historical love stories. This will make people feel less romantic and more interested in trivial things. Paris has to go back into the past twice and correct the timeline, but there are a lot of rules and she has a time limit.
While Sherlock and King Rudolph have a very creative adventure following clues to Subpar, this is Paris’s hardest, most emotionally draining fights.
Fave scenes: the pick-up lines, tricking Subnur, finding the painting in the museum and getting into the vault.
Ok seriously love this series and it’s even better as favourite characters from previous series pop in and out for visits. Well another fantastical adventure for our duo loving the twists and turns just can’t get enough so off to read next instalment. Hope you enjoy as much as I did
The Careful Revolutionary (The Unconventional Agent Beaufont book 6)
I have thoroughly enjoyed every book so far in this series!! I can hardly wait to see what project will come up next! I also love to read Sara and Michaels Without notes at the end of each book! They are as much fun to read as the book is! I can't wait to read nu.her 7! You should read them all too!
Take Sherlock Holmes and the King of the Fae on a tour around the world And that is only a minor part of the story Lots and lots of fun Another great story and more great characters! Thank you!
