Maulkin and his Eternal allies may have just caused the apocalypse, but at least they’re doing it with style.
The Voidgod is back and the Alvaren Queen is now convinced that Maulkin is the second coming of the Voidgod himself, but at least they have the totally awesome magic sword made out of the weapon that put the big bad down for a long nap last time!
No wait, they don’t. The first thing Araphel did after stretching and yawning was to turn it to dust.
But it is all going to work out fine if Maulkin, the dumbest man in the known universe, can work out how to do what the gods themselves haven’t been able to since the dawn of time, and put Araphel down.
Born in 1987, Luke Chmilenko grew up in the city of Mississauga, Ontario spending the majority of his life within the city. Always a fan of writing and storytelling, Luke continuously wrote small short stories over the years, but never embarked on writing a full novel until much later in life, thinking it was something beyond his ability.
With his interesting in writing waxing and waning as the years passed, Luke focused on his studies, eventually finding a job in the field of IT Security and working between various jobs for several years. It wasn't until after he was married and with his wife's encouragement that he finally decided to try writing a novel, this time deciding to focus on a new genre that he had just discovered called LitRPG.
Diving into his work, Luke wrote his first book over the course of several months, releasing the book as a web serial chapter by chapter for free online, garnering valuable feedback and confidence from his readers. By the time Luke finished his first book and published it on amazon, he already had a hungry audience waiting for next installation, to which he immediately threw himself into working tirelessly at his newfound passion.
Today, Luke now writes full time with his wife and two cats in their Burlington home, working away on his next issue of his Ascend Online series and a brand new science fiction series named Starfall.

Final rating is for the audiobook version. LD did a great job. =)
Savage Dominion is a tidy trilogy. The authors did a nice job of completing the story arc within three books. Overall pacing for the plot lines could have been better. You need to turn off your brain a bit and just enjoy the ride. The concepts for the series are great! I wish they were developed a bit more within the story vs told to the readers in odd clumps.
It's a fun little action-adventure with a lot of mythological mashups & what I would phrase as "teen humor". You can be 60 years old and still have crass teen humor. XD
I'm glad the trilogy ended on a much better note than I had expected. Gotta celebrate the little YaYs!
A satisfying ending. Also heavy on the battles so you will like this more of you enjoy battle scenes, but the ending was quite satisfying so I still enjoyed it quite a bit.
Our MC is unapologetically himself and uses it to his advantage again and again. Well written and action packed, it’s a fun read. A little more character development of the other two main characters would have been nice, and I feel like it would have rounded things out a little more, it was still a good book. I’d recommend it
Man this one took some unexpected turns. Can’t spoil them for you, but the ending wasn’t what I was expecting either. I can’t say that I’m displeased, but I wish a few things had been different. As always the fighting was great, though even I have to say that the fight with Araphel drug on longer than I think it needed too. But we got some epic moments, some payback, and some emotional touches as well. I’m sad to see the series finish, but it was a heck of a ride! All hail Maulkin! ;)
I enjoyed the first 2 books and all were funny but this one felt like the author ran out of ideas and stretched fights that should last 5-10 minutes tops into HOURS and HOURS of the book. I honestly thought about giving up a few times and the ending was really not worth hanging in for.
What is going on guys? Lately it seems authors are just rushing to the endings and are just trying to be done with their stories…
This series is a goofball of a story. It was a fun , guilty pleasure read for me, and everything was up and dandy until the last half of the book when things just started to go 1000%. Being in the middle of the world ending fight and just summon random people who believe you need to fight to save their world? Don’t mention you happen to summon the most powerful dudes around the galaxy by pure luck.
And don’t make me start about the prologue that should have been a goddamn book by itself.
Having said all that, the book is funny, the world building is cool and brings some new ideas to the table. So all in all a good read, I just feel sorry for the story for it being rushed in the end.
4/5 nice and dumb fun read, you will probably like it and won't know why
I really loved the character building. It was fun the MC was hilarious and all around great. The only downside to this book and series is the length. This series possibly had another two or three books that could have been written before it ended. They could have fought the voidgod for a few books possibly and eventually came to the dramatic ending of this book. Otherwise all in all a good series.
I absolutely loved the storyline and the fact that it had an ending that didn't suck was so great. I will read/ listen to anything I can find from these guys..... thanks again you guys are Gods!!God's!!! Lmao you're going to have to read the book to get that last sentence.
I will let the book review itself. "Sometimes, the only sane thing to feel in the face of something this pointless and brutal was hate." I read the whole thing, it was pointless and brutal and I hated it.
It’s actually so nice to have a litRPG series complete in a trilogy. What a breath of fresh air! The same issues of the previous books in the trilogy are still very much there, but having a completed storyline really helps this book out.
This was a super satisfying finish to an awesome series. Short, sweet, tense, and tender. All the things you want from a conflict of cosmic proportions.
Enjoyed this one for a while then the author turned to the style of writing where he spends 45 minutes of audiobook time to describe a 10 second fight. 4 hours worth of story told in a 16 hour book.
A totally different type of story. Captivating in that battles were none stop and yet there was a goal to be achieved. Thanks for keeping me interested.
Got off to a slow and boring start, and I thought the final battle was drawn out to long. the way the book ended was not to my liking. Definitely not as good as the first 2 books.
