What others say about Lisa Renee's series:
"The author brings the story to life with her words and keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next."
"A classic Lisa Renee rom com full of the kinds of unexpected moments and witty dialogue that keeps you laughing and wondering what in the world is going to happen next. Great fun from start to finish!”
Lisa Renee’s first full-time job was as a marketing manager at 19 years of age. From there, she learned the ins and outs of small business and went on to create three business start-ups, including developing her own brand of organic smoothies and lattes.
When Lisa got the writing bug, she switched gears and now loves coming up with swoon-worthy stories filled with awkward moments, adding love and laughter to every page of her romantic comedies.
When she's not writing, you can find her enjoying nature, hiking, snorkeling or with her running buddies, jogging the great outdoors of her home country, Australia.
This is a fantastic rom com! A well written friends to lovers story that was heartfelt, sweet, humorous and such a wonderful read. Sarah and Tommy have been friends forever, sarah loves him but he only sees her as his sister or does he?? It’s a lovely, funny clean romance that I thoroughly enjoyed .
This was a cute romantic read. Part four of the Clear Creek group to have their story told. A moment of 'Oh No!' mistaken identity chaos, and a moment of 'Oh, dear' tension near the finish.
It's fun and worthy of a Sunday afternoon in front of the fire - or on the beach, depends on which hemisphere you're living in at the time.
'Ese primer beso, quería que sintieras cuánto te adoro, Sarah. Eres preciosa para mí'.

About Time You Noticed de Lisa Renée, A Sweet Romantic Comedy, Volume 3
Argumento:
This clean romcom will raise the heart rate with some great scenes in this story….from the mishap with a mistaken identity and a first kiss to the gentle signals Tom sends Sarah during the blindfolded food tasting competition! Never mind wanting to shake Tom to help him see who he’s going to miss out on if he doesn’t step up and claim his stake!!
Not as much mention of God in the story compared to other books written by this author…it’s maybe more subtly done! And felt the last couple of chapters were a bit rushed compared to the rest of the story.
However, the reader is very glad that possible and definite narcissism was addressed in the story with the reader being clearly shown the difference between narcissistic tendencies and care brought about due to a deep love for the person.
Would recommend this - please read!
Received this as Advanced Reader Copy and this is my own opinion.
He laughed. “I don’t need a nurse.” She frowned and pressed a finger to his lips. “Shhh. I’m counting.” The quick touch inflamed his pulse. A stampede of horses raced through his veins. Her eyes widened as she stared at his wrist. She pulled her chair closer and pressed her fingers to the pulse in his neck. “Sarah, please. Stop fussing.” (Stop touching me and driving me crazy.) She didn’t budge, and her eyes locked on his. “I’m worried about you. Your pulse is irregular.” *** Will these best friends finally get on the same page so they can be more? I’ve been waiting for Sarah and Tommy’s story! This is a wonderful addition to the Sweet Romantic Comedies set in Clear Creek County. Like the others, this was very enjoyable and full of fun. I was also glad to get caught up with the couples from the previous books! I received an ARC copy of this book, and this is my voluntary, honest opinion.
I had a hard time getting into this one. The author employed some odd ways of telling us a character smiled:
Tommy let go of a smile. Mom aimed a simulated smile at Becca and Paul. ...baring his teeth in a Wallace-and-Gromit grin.
The author also claims that 25 is halfway to 30? Huh? What kind of weird math did she do there?
She tells us the character has free housing and then talks about paying rent multiple times... eventually I realized the rent was on the paddocks, but she might've wanted to make that clear from the start as it is quite distracting.
There is a woman who is 12 weeks pregnant and doesn't have baby bump... maybe that's possible, but rather unlikely.
As I neared the end of the story, I became engrossed in it. The characters had a sweet love story, but I did want to bash their heads together multiple times.
It was a good read, but it wasn't a favorite. It might've been a 4 star read if it wasn't for the aforementioned things.
Brother's Best Friend. Christian RomCom. I LOVED the Christian aspects. Comes about very naturally in the story. It's all very light. I loved the friendship relationships. Their group was fun. It's dual POV but in third person, and it switches throughout the chapters not alternating chapters like most dual POV. It was a different style for me but I really enjoyed it. It was done well. I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series.
💕 RCRS: 2-3 (brief kissing/heavier kissing)
🗨 Some Quotes: He raised his hands. "I'm not saying he's perfect or the one. We’re not best buddies or anything." She pinched his chin and gently shook it. "That's right. I'm your best buddy, and don't you forget it." He smiled and gripped her wrist. "More like, don't you forget me."
"Tommy," she hissed. "Stop looking at me like I'm a meat lover’s pizza."
So fun! This rom-com is for you if: You like tall Heroines (and even taller heroes) Horses, swoony kisses, My-best-friend's-brother trope
Sarah's secret crush will never see her as anything more than his sister's friend. So she should start dating, right? Funny thing is, Tommy starts to notice her when she goes out with his friend. Suddenly she's not just the little sister type anymore, she's Tommy's type
This is another fantastic read by Lisa Renee! Don't forget to read the rest of the books in the series! This can be read as a standalone, but you won't want to miss the other adventures in Clear Creek County Reasons I enjoyed this book: FunnyHappily Ever AfterInspirationalRomanticWhimsical
I haven’t read many of Lisa Renee’s book, but I have really enjoyed what I have read. This book is centered around Tommy and Sarah. They’re best friends, but Sarah has been in love with Tommy for years. When Edward, the science teacher, tells Tommy he’s interested in Sarah and he actually sees them on a date, his feelings start to change. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say if love a book with strong family and amazing friends that will have you many times, then you won’t be disappointed with this book. Do yourself a favor and grab this beautiful story.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Tommy and Sarah had been best friends since grade school. Sarah has always had a crush on Tommy, but since he was five years older, he never noticed her as a “girl.” As two of his friends become interested in Sarah, he suddenly notices her as more than a friend. This book was very “clean” and contained some Christian content such as attending church and a bit of prayer, but there was no real spiritual substance such as seeking God’s direction.
It was an enjoyable book, but I prefer more spiritual depth.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher. My review is voluntary and unbiased.
This was a really beautiful story about two best friends Tommy and Sarah. Sarah has always had a big crush on Tommy, but she doesn't think he feels the same way. Tommy has always been protective over Sarah, who is 5 years younger and his sister's best friend. When a colleague at his work asks to be set up with Sarah he starts to realise that he doesn't like that and starts to see her in a new light. There are plenty of sweet moments between the two and the path to romance isn't fully straight forward. A light hearted sweet romance with a satisfying happy ending.
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars ________________________________________________________ Story Notes
Such a marvelous story featuring one of my favorite plots - best friends to lovers! Tommy and Sarah are so cute together and it was fun watching them try to not tell the other they loved them. They challenged each other to be better and to see themselves as both successful and worthy of love. I really enjoyed seeing them build each other up in their careers and with their families. I also liked how easy their relationship was, even in the tough times. By that, I mean that they had enough history to honestly work through things and really talk. Nothing was left unsaid and that made their connection deeper and better. Definitely recommend this story for your TBR, so worth the time to read!
I received this temporary complimentary ARC from Lisa Renee via BookFunnel. I am not required by anyone to write a positive review but am pleased to do so. I will receive no fiscal compensation for this review and the opinions expressed herein are entirely my own.
About Time You Noticed is a romantic comedy. Sarah has been in love with her best friend's brother, Tommy, for most of her life. Everyone in their circle of friends have paired off and gotten married except them. Tommy is afraid to let Sarah know he cares until a new teacher at school is interested in her. Lots of mishaps take place until Tommy and Sarah realize that they both care. If you like light comedy, you will enjoy About Time You Noticed by Lisa Renee. I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.
Note: this is my first time reading this author. I ended up quite liking this book, although I did struggle after a while with the FMC. Cute story, and reasonably thought out plot points. I would have liked more background with the issues with the father as it was mainly implied and little to met out the history of the father/daughter relationship. I haven’t read any of the previous stories so maybe there are glimpses in those.
In general a good quick read, with sweet characters. Will try some more from this author.
This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from the author.
What a fun story! Friends that grow up together and then become a romantic couple of one of my favorite tropes and it was done well in this story. While there were plenty of laughs, there were also some poignant moments that make the story more realistic.
He’s an awesome coach. She runs an equine therapy program. They’ve been friends before. And they both have an attraction to each other. But they are friends. And both want to move forward — but are afraid they will mess up their friendship!!! TERRIFIC BOOK. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own
honestly I thought it was really cute. I feel like the story moved along pretty fast which is nice. I’m a sucker for childhood friends to lovers but also best friends brother!!! I’m glad they got together in the end and married so FAST hahaha but no all in all it was such a cute book that I could have read in one day if I wasn’t busy. ADORABLE
Sarah and Tommy have loved each other for a long time. Their families have been friends. But the children of those families in their small town always were great friends. A big circle of friends. Sarah and Tommy talk every day and night. They both have grown in love but neither one will admit it until
This was a sweet friends-to-lovers romance. Tommy and Sarah have been best friends for years. He is her best friends brother. She has had feelings for him for years. He did not realize his feelings for her until he sees her almost slip away to another guy. Once he realizes it, he makes his move. I love a happy ending.

I really enjoy reading about friends who become more to each other. They have loved each other for many years, but they don't know how the other one feels. If this is the type of story you like, you will definitely want to read this book.
I received a free ARC, and this is my honest opinion.
He likes her and his friend has asked him to help them to get a date with her. He does but he has an uneasy feeling, he gets over protective and he knows he is also falling for her himself. How is that possible? Why does he feel jealous? Will he take her from his friend? See how it will all go
Great sweet and clean read. Loved the characters and the premise of the story. Made me laugh at some of her awkward moments because it totally would be something I would have done. Can't wait to read more of her books.
I found Tommy immature for a 39year old man. Maybe it was the style of writing, I don't know. But I failed to get into it. I got to 38% and water to give up so continued... Stopped at 50%
Sweet fun story. Sarah was truly an innocent young lady and sweet person. I loved the connection she and Tommy had. Tommy was very protective and had been scaring men away from her for years. He just didn’t realize it subconsciously had been to make way for himself later. Glad to see he finally noticed her because they were perfect together. Rating: G, clean
This was a cute story and I chuckled through it! Eventually another bachelor bites the dust and we get entertained along the way😀. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a review
I laughed & cried my way through the series ,but feel there needs to be another one for Damien the lone single of the group now. Please hurry don't keep us in suspense .
I really enjoyed reading this fun and romantic story of Sarah, Tommy & their friends. Loveable characters, witty dialogue and Christian principles. Would recommend!
