Ok. This book has zero plot. There is no plot. It is pure unadulterated smut. That's it. It's smut. And a lot of it. There might be like 30 seconds of plot to this whole book. If you don't want tons of smut, this isn't for you. This is a reverse harem type situation with five males and one female. All are willing participants in the debauchery and fucking that takes place. They are mates. I was absolutely fine with this book except for the fact that we were constantly reminded how tiny, small, and little the FMC is. To the point that I got so damn annoyed that I highlighted each time she was described as small, little, or tiny. Or her body was. It. Was. Excessive. Ridiculously excessive. Her clit was even described as little. Fucking gross. Really gross. Other than my extreme annoyance with the over abundance of little, tiny, and small descriptors it was an ok book. Ok as far as zero plot, and tons of alien group sex goes. Will I read it again? No. Will I tell others that want a one handed read to read this one? Yes, yes I will. I also got some new terms from this book. Star Hole. Solid 3 stars just for the smut.

Before anyone that knows me IRL judges me, this was free on KU and the curiosity got the better of me. I just had to know. It was not worth it.

My favorite part of this was the one character's name having the spelling changed 3/4 of the way through the story.

If I have to read the phrase "little mate" or "star hole" one more time I'm going to commit arson. STAR HOLE? TRULY?

For an alien reverse harem they were... awfully human like. Apart from descriptions at the beginning of having odd colored hair/skin, their appearances are never mentioned again. You could pick this up in the middle and think it's humans running around in Star Wars.

I expected something way more entertaining and exciting and... unusual? I feel like I should be ashamed to admit I'm kind of let down lol

Do not read this if you are against MM, this is a story where there is an already established relation between 5 men, who had in a single female.
There is also triggers for those who can’t stand seeing women in a more subservient role, where they are isolated and treated more as possessions.
Other than that, this is a good story, tons of spice, heavy on it actually (the title is a good indication) with some plot sprinkled in.
I wasn’t a fan of the 3rd person POV except when its from Aspen’s perspective, that’s written in 1st person which I found confusing. There’s also the error of the chapters being labeled as the wrong female character.

This is a 100 page alien erotica. 1% plot 2% word building 97% smut. I’m rating this book for what it was trying to be and what it is: it was trying to be alien porn, it is alien porn. It is not a full length novel with world building and character development. It was also never trying to be, and was never advertised to be.

Overall...it was okay. I wouldn't want more, and I wasn't super disappointed. I do not enjoy the tiny, virgin, innocent, cute, helpless, soft spoken mate thing, so I had to look past it here....the entire time lol. She also has no personality so for me..I want more character development in my books. Maybe this super short story wasn't it for me. The beginning gave me the creeps, but I read worse things than that on the daily so it didn't stop me. I just honestly can't get down with childlike characters being railed half to death. Maybe if she had more personality I'd pass it. Lol

Altered my brain chemistry…. A big cluster of smut, will try and make this review without all the in innuendos I’d like to make because after a big boy like this one there’s not much more on my mind. I mean, it literally tells you it’s about breeding brides sooo… it’s expected to be what was expected.

An alien, why choose, over the top, SMUT with a couple helping of SMUT, multiple faded mates that NEED to breed… Someone page Qroll for me, I need a medical examination.

soooo, it was bad. LMAO it was bad but like not bad at the same time okay mostly smut which i was expecting but i was not expecting THAT MUCH. im talking every chapter. 95% pound town, 5% actual plot be so fr LMAO. only reason this doesn’t get a one star is because i didnt end up dnfing it. cool concept if there was more story and not mainly pound town but hey the author probably wanted mainly smut so whatever floats your boat lol

While I'm not a fan of some of the terminology like 'breeding hole' and 'star hole', it was an interesting short read. A few grammar and spelling mistakes, but not enough that it deterred me. I liked the little tidbit about the heats being 5 years apart and no pregnancy after the first heat. I recommend it as a short read but it's not a book I'd shout about from the rooftops.

... Also what on earth is 'solid-fluid'??? That is a contradictory description!!!

Can be summed up as “porn with plot”.

Typos and grammar mistakes abound. The story is uninspired and choppy. The characters are one note. I don’t really remember their names because the term “mate” is used over 100 times. Also, be prepared for the emphasis about how “smol” and “littol” and “tiny” she is multiple times a page. I got it the first 10 times, thanks.

Only good thing I can say is that the *many* sex scenes are a creative and mostly one big polyamorous orgy, except a few occasions.

Quick and Steamy

Well, you have mates and instalove in this face paced novella. It is an easy read with a little plot, but just enough to stay invested. A few times, I had to reread certain spots because the wording was a little off, but nothing to deter what was going on. If there are more, I will definitely read more because it was such a quick read. Just be prepared for some unique words to describe parts!

It's a good concept, but there's no real character development or conflict. The one conflict/trouble that did happen was basically resolved in two chapters. Would have enjoyed it more with character development and bigger arcs/turning points.

Writing is just stiff and dull, it’s an erotica book and not really a romance so there’s not much plot to it, and all 5 MCs are the same, often even moving in tandem, so there’s not much personality to the characters. If all you want is in-and-out, you’ll get plenty of it.
