Rate this book
Of course, the first job Virgil has as the new Hellcop captain couldn't be easy. If he can’t solve the mystery of how a Sasquatch prince wound up shot in the Pacific Northwest, the result will be all-out interdimensional war! He's got to keep the peace for as long as possible, buying time for his new recruit Gladys to track down the real culprits behind the coup.
Meanwhile, how do they deal with interdimensional copyright claims? When a new musical "genius" is taking the world by storm, dead celebrities Hell-side are saying he's stealing their songs! It's up to Virgil to make sure his team is up for the challenge, all while rebuilding trust in the Pandimensional Security Corps after the last captain's transgressions.
This and much more in the second volume of Hellcop!

"Hellcop: The Sasquatch War" is a solid second volume for this imaginative series. In addition to a story line involving Sasquatch from the Hell dimension this book also covers subplots involving inter-dimensional copyright violations and an intrusion from Wonderland.

Expect Sasquatch dynastic politics, a few new promising characters, a marriage of convenience, a John Lennon cameo, highly localized physics and an appearance of the Red Queen.

The plot line where characters are importing media from hell is hysterical. The opening of a new plane adds interest to the story but I’m honestly more interested in hell than the new plane but perhaps that will change with further storyline.

I would’ve given it 4 stars but the typos were a big turnoff. And the sentence structure in the last issue started to break down. Not sure what happened at Image last year…

This was a little uneven for me, and the typos were a drag. Loved the John Lennon storyline
