Slone Security series will release by August of 2025. This series branches from the Hayden Falls series after A Hayden Falls Christmas - Two.
Hannah is a dance teacher and is running away from some mistakes in her past. Her grandmother in the small town of Hayden is willing to help her out. That is why Hannah comes to Hayden 'temporarily'.
Apart from teaching dance at school, she also takes classes in a building, owned by Jasper Ramsey. That brings the story to Jasper, a gym owner in the same building and he is done with women. After his ex-wife, Jasper does not want anything to do with women. Then comes Bently.
Two things have to be specially mentioned here. First the small town feel which came all through the story was very well captured. Right from E's labour and the gathering there and the events thereafter at school, the gossip, the women, the mothers, it captures the small time very well.
The second is Bently. WIth 'Bwanki fort' and 'sweep over', it was cute to read about the four year old kid.
Jasper's fight for her was brought out well and made more worth it, by Bently's cuteness.
Jasper's parents were so sweet and turned out to be lovely grandparents too.
All through the story, the events pushing on between Jasper and Hannah, the gym, the other dangerous events including Adam moved along giving the readers the feel of the events. Robinson, the lawyer, brought in enough menace with her phone calls, though all she did was report good news, most of the time.
The characters from the other stories also move on with their own lives in the third story of the series and that becomes a part of Jasper and Hannah's story as well.
The atmosphere of the story, the actions of Adam, the sudden turn of events, Jude especially, were all characterised very well, as the romance between the main characters and Bently was well brought out. The 'marriage proposition' in the end was really cute to read about.
Overall, it is a good sweet romance between the characters, who are also dealing with a lot in life. Interesting read.
Oh, I think this might be my favorite in the series so far. I love small town series! It was nice getting a couple that wasn't in the main loop as the first two books were, and they're great, by the way. I like seeing more side characters pulled in. And little Miss Bently is just the sweetest. Miles and Hannah are great together.
Debbie does a brilliant job at balancing telling vs showing in this story. She shows us a wonderful sweet romance with characters you will fall in love with. I definitely recommend this book.
This is such a cute couple! I love the on-going stories of Hayden Falls. The local gym owner didn't know what hit when the new dance teacher came to town. Hannah and Jasper are perfect together. And just wait until you meet his daughter. Bently stole the show, and my heart.
Great book! I liked that this one used a gym owner. You don't see a lot of those as leads. Jasper and Hannah are perfect together. His daughter is really cute.
This was amazing! I liked that we got a couple that wasn't in the center circle of the first two books. And oh my gosh! A single dad! I swear Bently stole the show a few times. I love this series!
The old-time classic tale of 'I can't fall in love right now but I can't help it' given in the sweetest, most amazing way in this story about two young people, each with their own personal burden, who find love, warmth, and understanding in each other. The presence of this cute little girl in between, is a unifying element, and the way the author has integrated her in the story just makes your heart melt! A beautiful, pleasant, and uplifting read, ideal for readers who enjoy feel-good narratives and happy endings.
Japer, Hannah and Bailey's love story is a must read! This story will capture your heart. I fell in love with these characters . It made me feel as I was in the story with them. It pulled me in and I had to keep turning the pages. All the obstacles they had to get through was so real to me. The heartaches they had to endure were tough ones, real ones. I could identify with these people. It is a must read and I promise you, you will enjoy the ride.
by far my favourite by this author. It’s a nice headspace to spend a few hundred pages inside of and with! If this genre is in your wheelhouse give it a read you won’t be disappointed!
I loved the love of the child in this story by all characters. How she was considered in all decisions …. This was such a fun read that I had a difficult time putting it down.
I loved Jasper and Hannah. I would love to know was Jasper's hate for the ballet music his fear of love or just a hatred for classical music? Bently!!! Loved her, I can't wait to see what happens with them. BETH NO!!!! When are they going to confront her and Brady!
I'm going to flip a table if I don't get answers on Grace soon! My money is on Spencer.
Another entertaining and sweet romance by author Debbie Hyde. Debbie Hyde is relatively new author to me. Her writing style reminds me of Cami Checketts, Marcia Lynn McClure and Mandi Blake.
Can you fall in love with a book? Because I just did.
This book is *so sweet.* It had me squealing on the inside and I may have gotten misty-eyed once or twice. I love the maturity and depth that came with dating as a single father. I love that he loves Hannah for loving his daughter. And I love his daughter! She is so sweet and fun and I love her.
The quality of writing is good, too. It had just the right amount of internal conflict, without the characters getting in their own way for too long. Everything is balanced, too. So far, this is my favorite Hayden Falls book. I am so happy for them!!!
The saga continues. I love that you can pretty much pick up any of this series and dive right into this small Montana town. We've got a new couple and new problems. Hope and yearning run deep in this one so make sure to have your tissues handy. Debbie Hyde does a great job of writing clean romance with a hometown twist. Can't wait for the next one.
This was perfect!!! Jasper Ramsey didn't know what hit him. Or rather, who twirled into his life. And his little girl. I just loved Bently! I like how she wraps Lucas Barnes around her little finger. That was cute. And oh, the Happily Ever After!! Wow! I loved Bently's part in it. It was too cute.
