Helpful, surprisingly complete, and very well organized! My favorite of the several mythology guides I purchased and/or used to research mythological creatures for my own writing. Some of the adult ones had way more information than I needed or wanted, or the text was too small for my 40+ eyesight.

Great book to use for teaching middle school students about world mythology. My students and I enjoy using it. I just wish I could find more copies to get, since I have 30 kids sharing 15 books.
