Two months after a harsh breakup, Diana moves to a new city and decides it's time to get laid. It's been long enough, and the last thing she needs is the distraction of an unsatisfied libido. And the best place to get what she needs?

There, she finds the man for whom the dungeon takes its name, and all bets are off when he come to her with a wolf mask covering his face. The snarling face should be scary, but Basil makes sure she is a completely satisfied submissive. Diana can't help but want more from the man in the wolf mask and the crazy intense connection between them.
This erotic novel contains BDSM content, is intended for audiences 18 and older, and is HEA.
Spicy in the first 50 pages! Loved everything about this book. This book shows that real love can develop in any circumstance. Basil and Diana start out as Dom and Sub but end up as so much more. Can an ex from Diana’s past ruin everything? Not if Basil has anything to say about it!
This book was deep and the character chemistry was strong. I could feel the tension and emotions rolling between Basil & Diana. I admired the conviction Basil carried in his beliefs throughout the book and the growth Diana had in herself. I was expecting a book centered around spicy scenes and a new dynamic between the two main characters but instead I found a book about healing and growth in a new relationship, after an extremely toxic one. I was so proud of Diana when she realized her prior relationships were probably not the best to go on and she stepped into her power to learn how to be a better person and partner moving forward. This book contained spicy scenes but also growth, love, laughter, and amazing new friends.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really, REALLY, rarely leave reviews for books. In fact this is quite possibly my first. That being said...this book is AMAZING. I could not put it down. While yes, the relationship is "rushed" technically speaking, its amazing how much of reality the author puts into this. You truly feel connected to the characters. Hell, I connected with the FMC SO MUCH and on so many levels. I cried, I laughed. And I feel I have to mention the SPICE, chef's kiss. This book is an amazing look at the BDSM community and lifestyle that one rarely gets to actually see in fiction. I don't think I can say enough positive things. And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to book two!
This is an emotion packed story about a woman realizing her worth and learning to stand on her own. Diana has to start over after being dumped by her Ex and begins a new relationship with Basil. She doesn't recognize how her Ex diminished her sense of self esteem and when faced with adversity, she lashes out and almost destroys what she has with Basil. This is her journey from understanding her Ex's manipulation and moving on in a healthy way. Basil was also a fantastic character because of his patience and willingness to truly listen to what Diana was communicating.
This was surprisingly good. The characters were strong and easy to fall in love with (and boy did I love me some Basil). I'm not familiar with BDSM, but I loved how the author was able to explain it to a novice, such as myself. The spice was fantastic as well as the kinks. I loved that Basil & Diana were able to grow as a couple and that she was able to know her worth. I was very happy to get my HEA too. I look forward to reading more from this author.
I'm not one for BDSM, pain doesn't do it and there are so many books out there that abuse BDSM and call it a love story. The growth of Basil and Diana's relationship was so wonderful and felt natural. It was a super easy read with plenty of spice.
