Well, this was just fascinating. The interviews were accompanied by personal photographs which were used to evoke emotions and help steer the questioning. Three years of their lives and romance is covered with candor.

This book is a deep dive into the serious relationship of two men via interviews that are authentic and raw. The afterword by the author is not to be missed. Denneny's interview questions are empathetic, curious and brilliant, bringing out the best in the interviewees.
