Book two dives into a lot more on the family dynamics side, which I really enjoyed. It does a fantastic job with the various character perspectives. It's got a lot of morally grey characters and actions and gets you into each character's shoes as you figure out what they're up to.

A sad sad story
The main character in this book is Jake and he is not what I consider to be a hero. He has to deal with many things in his life, including murder and vicious ex-wife I found the book the book interesting but it did not leave me with a good feeling.

Another interesting story. Definitely sad ending. The characters were very believable. Jake has a way of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He needs to be taken care of, doesn't he??? The one good thing in his life??? i enjoyed this story, except the end, and recommended the book.
