When I first saw this book mentioned in my subscription email I was excited! Another billionaire book for me to read. However, what I got was completely different than I anticipated. The book quickly became an enemies to lovers theme but stayed on the enemies side pretty much the WHOLE time! Jodelle and Zach basically were fighting the entirety of the book and it was definitely not a healthy relationship. Both characters wouldn’t call it that but I definitely did. Normally in these books there is a point in time when they let their emotions take over and they let things between them be and both people are blissfully happy and have no complaints. I wish I had this in the book rather than just have Jodelle and Zach fighting all the time. Zach strung her along and toyed with her feelings while he wasn’t letting himself open to the possibility of maybe having more with her. Jodelle was just a pawn in his game to please his parents and that didn’t sit well with me. At one point in the book I found myself thinking they would never actually fall for each other and I got tired of their antics and games. It became hard to read, hence why it took me longer to finish. I kept telling myself, they have to get serious about each other at some point, so I kept trucking along even though I was struggling. Since I found myself experiencing this while reading it, this book garners a 4 for me because while I struggled, I still enjoyed and kept rooting for them.

Zach was the new boss at Jodelle's company. Everyone was worried about how things were going to play out and didn't have long to see Jodelle upset the new boss. Jodelle seems to be doing most of the work in her department with less pay and no reward. She's just tired and thinking about finding a new job. She's stood up by a friend for a night out and runs into Zach. Its not long before things heat up. However, the next morning didn't go well. When Zach's parents starts bothering him about settling down he mention Jodelle and starts a whole trainwreck of drama. He then talks Jodelle into helping him and things continue to get complicated. Will he admits to his very real feelings for Jodelle before its too late?
This is a great story that will hook you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Who has sex by just shoving your dick in? No touching (NOT EVEN A BOOB), no licking, hello you have to finger or eat a girl out first. Period. Maybe not every time, but every time they have sex in this book it's just him SLAMMING FULL HILT INTO HER, NO WARM UP, NO TEASING, NADA. What a turn off.
OK, I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 and here's why. h is the WORST fake gf/fiance ever, she's literally the worst and I do believe I've read almost every single fake gf/fiance book out there. I just can not put down the book. OK, I think the author deserves a 3 star but I'm cutting off 1 for the sex. What a defiant little h she is! Ha! You are a cute author and went against the grain, so I'm going to give you the 3 stars you deserve. However, if this is all the sex you get in real life, girl you better show your husband a porno cause the rest of our bodies need a little loving!

This fake dating/fake relationship novel features billionaire Zach and one of his employees, social media marketing person Jodelle. These two end up in a relationship because Zach wants his parents to get off his back so he asks her to date him. Unfortunately, he is a bad communicator and the relationship is bad from the beginning.
I didn't really like Zach until he realized what he was doing to other people with the way that he was acting. He was only thinking of himself most of the time, but when he finally realized that he liked Jodelle, then he was ok. Jodelle was good, but sometimes she acted really stupidly and disregarded her own real feelings.

I have no idea how it has a higher than 4 star rating, im in chapter 6 and I’m dnf-ing.
This was bad, one second into the book I don’t like him he seems fake, two pages later they sleep with each other when they’re drunk, then the next page oh I told my parents ur my girlfriend… there’s no actual story, no buildup , no conversation, also are you sure this book was edited?? first chapter her friend has red hair then a couple of pages later that same person has blonde hair? Like if ur not trying to write an entertaining engaging book, at the very least be consistent with ur characters.
Don’t waste your time.

Surprising
I must admit it felt at same pages very depressing or at least annoying. And the whole relationship very confusing. Even till the end it did not became quite clear how the male lead became turthfully involved emotionally, with deep feelings. Nevertheless, on the surface this was a quite interesting read and the idea of the plot is good, just that it felt like there is a gap between the actions and choices in the most part of the book and then the turnaround by the end.

Relationships based on lies don't work. Zachary and Jodelle wasted so much when they weren't honest with one another. This is one of those books that you hope the characters realize that they could have so much more when they grow up and are truthful with one another before it's too late.

Grumpy?
Just a little niggle that almost made this 4 not 5 stars use of an I instead of a me and a couple of little inconsistencies. Otherwise a great story that had enough ouch moments to make it memorable an£ want to shake the grumpy boss! Well worth a read!

The book is a classical fake fiancée romance but it is interesting enough. Yes, it is STEAMY but also there is enough emotion to the story.

Not very cohesive
This wasn’t a flowing storyline. Zach didn’t have a very good personality and there was no reason that Jodele should have continued to go to him. It was not very believable. There were also some missed edits.

Sexual harassment is not sexy! The guy is a selfish jerk and the girl has no self respect. Why isn't she looking for another job? "This company has the best hourly rate" is not enough to create sympathy for her situation.
