Hugs Help: Our Story of Tragic Loss, Survival, and Helping Others

Rate this book
Hugs Help shares the story of how Randy and his family survived the tragic deaths and unbearable grief brought about by the sudden loss of three family members to a distracted semi-truck driver on July 22, 2003.  His mother, Jean Stocker, and his two daughters, Jenelle-age 19, and Amy-age 9, all died immediately.  The book shares personal experiences and guidance for both grievers as well as their family and friends.
Hugs
*Provides an intimate perspective from someone who has experienced sudden grief or loss
*Shares that voice of "experience" in slowly turning personal grief into a mission to help others.
*Details both acceptable and unacceptable words, actions, and gestures for those who are supporting grievers.
Hugs Help shares ideas that will help both the person who is grieving as well as the people who are trying to help or comfort the griever.  If you know of someone who is struggling with their grief, this book will help both them and you.

I have met Randy at our local Compassionate Friends meetings, his book is a reflection of his authentic self and shares his story and passion for helping others very realistically.
