Well, I'm on the fence as far as this story coming through for me. I was happy that it focused a bit more on the main couple.
There's a lot of just going with the flow with the hard to buy concept. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice concept but felt a bit too forced for my romantic heart.
Happily, there's not a lot of drama and it ends sweetly even if it's a bit emotional.

The Soul Never Forgets picks up where the first book in the series ends. Caroline has spent her life connecting with her past life. Now the visions are no longer there. Frank and Gussey found their ‘forever’ in Caroline’s visions, so she knows their destiny is complete.

4.5 Stars. OMG. Guys, this duet 𝘵𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘺. 😭 If you love The Time Traveler's Wife and The Notebook, you 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 want to miss this duet. Even if you don't love those books or haven't read it, you should totally read this duet. You need to read The Soul Always Remembers before this one.
This is a soulmate kind of books. To be honest, I hardly ever read that trope. But when Georgia said she's writing one, I knew needed the books. I loved it so much more than I expected. It goes back and forth to the previous life and present life, but it was totally perfect for this duet.
It gave me such a heartwarming feel. I don't want to say more because I don't want to spoil the story, but just get ready for your heart to be filled with love.

I’m going to be vague in this review because I don’t want to give spoilers. I’ll just describe the things I felt while reading it.
I had already fallen in love with the three main characters in book one and I’m so glad I could get more of them here. I was so excited for Caroline yo find her soulmate in this book that I had butterflies in my stomach when they were about to meet. These books were so romantic, I didn’t even miss the spicy scenes here. There were some, but they were brief and not overly described. However, believe me when I say that it was perfect for this book.
Augustina’s and Frank’s love is beautiful in every life they live and I’d read as many books as Georgia wants to write in this series. This thematic captivated me wholeheartedly.

Georgia Cates flexed her writing skills, taking the readers on a beautiful journey. The New Orleans setting brings out the mystery and the charm. You must read The Soul Always Remembers first before reading its completion, The Soul Never Forgets.

I read this book as a follow up to the last book #1 in this series. In this book, Caroline is searching for her "Soul Mate".
The author over uses the terms "soul mate", "star crossed lovers" and the endearment "my love" too many times to count. I found this book to not only be so syrupy as to make me nauseous, but highly unrealistic. I had MANY issues with this book. First, why does Caroline at the age of 29 (In 2022) allow her mother to have input into her therapist appointments and speak with the doctors? Also, Caroline has been in therapy for 25 years, did none of those doctors give her the tools to deal with her mother? And, why are the therapists even allowing input from her mother? Secondly, she needs Jude to save her from her mother, when Caroline could have done it herself years before. Thirdly, Caroline sees Jude and he sees her and they are immediately a couple?! Further, he throws all of his training and experience to the wind and hops aboard the soul mate theory immediately. And, he also has visions of his former life! If you're looking for a too sweet series, this is for you!

This book has my whole heart! After being enthralled with the first installment in this series, I was so happy to see that Georgia brought this back and added to the story – and she did not disappoint! After changing history through her three-month coma, Caroline is back in action and determined to find her soulmate in this lifetime. But after months of searching and questioning, she’s concerned that she will never find them, until fate brings them together again. I found reading this installment so comical because once Caroline finds her Frank (Jude), she essentially throws everything onto him and is somewhat upset when he doesn’t instantly conform, but he too can’t fight the pull to her and his unexplained feelings. Reading this felt like an epic love story with a touch of magic, and I found myself devastated to read the end of Caroline’s story – I wanted it to go on forever! I was obsessed with this book and this duet of books and I can’t wait to see what Georgia will come out with next!

5 beautiful stars! This book picks up right where book 1 ended. To say I was excited to read the ending of Caroline’s story is an understatement. But, the ending! It was so thought out and beautiful. Georgia Cates slayed this series. It is such a unique and heartfelt journey. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters (past and present). A must read for every true romantic.

The Soul Never Forgets is second installment in the Beacon Series and continues Caroline’s journey to find her soulmate. This series must be read in order to fully understand the story. Believe me this is a duet you want to read.
Caroline is trying to navigate her life after recovering from a coma, with no more visions of Frank & Augustina. Having set their wrongs right Caroline is eager to find and connect with her present day “Frank”.
Caroline and Wes {Dawsey} feel the connection instantly. Their souls tethered through out time. Their relationship blossoms rather quickly as Wes accepts the story of their past life.
I loved “reliving” Frank & Augustines story with them and watching them grow their own life.
Georgia Cates takes you on a journey through time peaking at the past while building a future. This story was like no other book that I have ever read. It was romantic, nostalgic and captivating. It was so easy to get lost in these characters and their story.

WOW! This book was amazing. The whole idea behind the entire story was brilliant. After reading the first book, I could not wait to get my hands on book two.
Reading the love story of Augustina & Frank in book 1, then again in the next life as Caroline and Jude in book 2 was fantastic.
I honestly do not want to say much to give anything away. I will say this, if you love romance, if you are a romance novel enthusiast, if you believe in soul mates, if you feel that there are some connections that you can never fully explain, read this series. It is unbelievably good. You will not be disappointed.
I so wish there was another story in this series.

The Soul Never Forgets is the 2nd book in The Beacon Series. If you have not read The Soul Always Remembers then I would highly recommend. If you love a soulmates, time traveler story, this one is for you. I will say that Georgia once again has knocked it out of the park with this story. Very well written, had depth, and easy to follow. Although, the story follows Caroline and Jude in present day, their souls have been connected for centuries. They both experienced life as Augustine and Frank most recently, until they found each other souls again in present life. They loved hard no matter in what space and time they met! Can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

Beautiful
I love the idea of soul mates. I know it’s fanciful, but it’s a romance novel. If it can’t happen here, where can it happen? I enjoyed this series and how it was set up, introducing Frank and Augustina through flashback as Caroline tries to make sense of her life. I adored Dawsey’s character and Coco. If only everyone had a Coco. If you like a bit of mystical, meant to be lovers, you will love this series as I did. The second book was definitely worth the wait. The first book was good enough that I remembered everything without having to re-read in order to finish, which is not always the case. It’s definitely landed in my favorites group.

The Soul Never Forgets was an awesome book. The chemistry between Cara&Dawsey was electric. They were destined to connect with each other and
love each other. Once Cara found Dawsey and their romance began, their romance enabled her free herself with Dawsey’s help from the misery, self doubt and pain she’d been forced to endure since childhood.

They have a wonderful life, no matter how many times they live. It’s an intriguing and steamy love story with so much love, it’s a bit overwhelming when you read it. I thoroughly enjoyed every word written.

I was disappointed in this book. I LOVED the first one and thought it was amazing. Once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. Unfortunately, the sequel couldn’t live up to my expectations. There really wasn’t any mystery to this book like there was in the first one. And it basically consisted of the characters talking about how perfect their soulmate is and how their relationship isn’t like past relationships due to them being soulmates

Beautiful in every way
There aren’t words adequate to describe how amazingly beautiful in every way The Soul Never Forgets is. It’s an all consuming and devouring experience that the Author does an incredible job of immersing the reader in. Every part of this series has been utterly fascinating and by far one of my favorite series of all times.

Amazing story of soul mates
Beautiful well written story of love Between soul mates. The way she wrote the sequence of events and the journey of finding their forever loves was amazing. I found it extremely difficult to put the book down. Georgia Cates is a talented author and I have enjoyed several of her books.

An interesting idea and story took a turn for me when Caroline was so insistent on the whole soul mate mantra….repeating it at nausea. Why not let the story be a love story more than a blind acceptance….a courtship of any kind would have been much appreciated as would Caroline shutting up about it. Anyway, the overall series went from potentially great to average/good.

Book two was almost to sappy. Sweetness over load. It wasn't a bad read. It began a bit odd and was too unbelievable. There was no angst or many problems just perfection.
It would have been better if Cara & Dawson timeline was interrupted since she changed Gussy & Franks.

Perfect!!
I loved Caroline and Dawsey's story!! Her mother convinced everyone that Caroline was crazy from a young age. Caroline always heard voices and when she got older she realised it was her soul mate calling out to her. She needed to help him in the past so she could find him in the future.

OMG, bawling my eyes out. What a book, what a series! Georgia Cates is an amazing author and the storylines she produces are fantastic. This series spans decades and is told through Caroline. Will she finx her soul mate in this presemg life?

Lo ame totalmente, esta historia me cautivo y la termine en un plin plan, la autora le hizo un cierre total a la historia u cierre Feliz y el que debio ser, de verdad que estos dos libros fueron maravillosos para mi para cerrar el año.....lo recomiendo en un 100%.

I did enjoy reading this book but the soul mates thing didn't really speak to me like it usually does. For Carolind and Dawsey, it just seemed too easy. And sorry, wasn't a fan of the second epilogue.
It was a decent enough read but I've definitely read better by her.
